Then just a small walk over to the restaurant. Presentation on the inside and outside is very unique and beautiful. Wait time was fairly quick since there was just a small crowd and many available tables for seating. Decided to go with the Thai Ice Tea, Curry Fried Rice, and Tiger Tear Beef. All of these choices were a great mixture of sweet, spicy, and savory tastings. First time having the tiger beef and it sure did amaze me. All of this was about $40 , given how much food there was. A friend and I were shopping in the area and really wanted Thai food so we stopped by Thai Thani and honestly I was not expecting the experience we had! Usually when eating Thai we end up in a small place but Thai thani was a large restaurant with amazing decor to make you feel like your in Thailand! It's absolutely shocking. It was around 8:30 and we were still allowed in to dine in which was very nice considered they were closing soon. The service was also still superb! We ordered the Thai beer, Singha which was light and a perfect pair to our food. As appetizers we started with potstickers and a dish called Laab with chicken. The Laab is eaten with lettuce so you make little lettuce wraps with amazing flavors. We did ask for medium but the spicy level was not intense, it was just right! Onto the main dish! We order a Phad panang which is a chicken curry also asked for it to be medium and it was amazing. It's paired with white rice and made with coconut milk so it was a sweeter curry. It was the perfect location that satisfied my Thai food cravings! The inside was very nicely decorated and it made me feel like I was in Thailand! However, parking might be tricky during peak hours as there is only a small parking lot right outside but there are more parking spots around the corner. The service was amazing -- we had a table of 6 and they paid attention to our every detail and would always make sure we were doing good. I got a pad see ew and it was a 4/5. The noodles was the perfect amount of chewiness but for someone like me that really loves flavor, I wish they added more flavor that would bring out the pad see ew taste. I also got to try the pad Thai -- 3.5/5. It's not the best pad Thai I had, it was too sweet for my liking and not very flavorful. Also asked for it to be spicy but it was not spicy at all. I really would like to give this 3.5 stars. The restaurant is very beautiful inside. Definitely the most authentic looking I've ever been too. I used to think NaraDeva was the best, but this one takes the cake. As for the food, it was just ok. Nothing really stood out besides the krab rangoon and that is not even really Thai IMO. This one stood out because of the way it was wrapped - like a purse instead of a wonton. We enjoyed it better and it tasted good, lightly fried, not greasy, and filled with cheese and bits of Krab. The soft shell crab was pretty good too. I think those were the best 2 things we got. Everything else was pretty Americanized as far as flavor. We asked for medium heat for the papaya salad and it had no heat at all. The triple taste fish also has zero heat and the 3 tastes were supposed to be heat, sweet, and sour I guess?? Just tasted like sweet and sour sauce. However the Tom goong soup was surprisingly pretty spicy which we were not expecting. The potak tasted the same minus the heat and had seafood. Again, just ok. Would I come back again?? Not sure I would be up for the 30 minute ride for average Thai, but the place is really pretty so I might give them another try again. read more

This is the worst Thai food I've ever had. The Panang Curry was watery and flavorless. The Pepper Steak was also watery and too sweet. The dishes were so watery that the "sauces" didn't stick to the rice, it just ran to the bottom. I've been to other Thai places before, including in Thailand and have never been served anything like this. The broth in the Wonton Soup was flavorful but it wasn't Thai, it tasted like chicken bouillon, the dumplings had a freezer taste. My friend picked this restaurant for the good reviews, but to me, I've had better Thai food along with better service. Our server took our order, brought our drinks and food. The quantity of protein we got I'd say this food with taste and quantity was worth $30. The quantity was extremely small. For a $20 meal I got a few pieces of over cooked chicken swimming in a pool of liquid. The food had zero taste. They forgot one of the dumplings but we called and they credited us for it. There was a salad with lettuce that must have been 3 days old not crisp and fresh but soggy wilted ... the summer roll was tasteless with 2 rubbery shrimp cut in half to make it look like 4 shrimp... and the most basic simple dish. A staple of Thai food the chicken pad thai was just awful. Again rubber overcooked chicken in a tasteless dish of noodles that really left a bad taste.... Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. Which is a shame as it's got nice decor but I guess I should have guessed it's a tourist trap.... Totally disappointment. As I left I asked to speak to the owner or manager but of course there was none present the manager left earlier which probably explains the bad service and bad food from the kitchen... 2 thumbs down. We ordered Tom yum and Tom kha soups which were both great and the papaya salad was a small portion, but was absolutely delicious! For entrees, we got the curry fried rice and the pad kee mao noodles and I cannot say enough how IMMACULATE the curry fried rice was. The noodles were amazing as well, but the curry fried rice stole the show and was my all time favorite here. One of my favorite Thai restaurant! Took my daughter there and she loved it. All the food there is so amazing. The pineapple fried rice is one of my favorite. I like adding scallops or shrimp. I also love their seafood curry (yellow) mild. My daughter had yellow curry chicken. The service is great and fast. Good is always fresh. They have a lot of nice decor. However, I do feel a bit crowded in there. My wife also loves the food. It's her favorite Thai restaurant. She loves the green curry, substituted for fried shrimp instead of grilled. Unfortunately, we did not get to eat here during our trip. It was a Saturday afternoon around 2 PM. Upon entering and waiting about two minutes there was no host or hostess and no waitstaff to be seen. It appeared that no one had food at the various tables (probably 15 different tables) which were already seated. There was a group of three seated in the waiting area and after a few minutes the gentleman turned to us and said that it was a very long wait. We milled about for another minute or so and decided it was probably best to head elsewhere for lunch. I wish I could give a review without a rating for this type of situation. I gave three stars because it would not be fair to give less when we never got to experience the restaurant. But not being greeted and not seeing ANY staff in the entire (open concept) dining room doesn't elicit a five star without the full experience either. Maybe someone called out sick? Maybe there were issues in the kitchen? Things happen. I was really looking forward to experiencing the wonderful atmosphere and ambience they set up with all the amazing decor.
