Was craving some curry, so I ordered some red chicken curry to go, with a spiciness of 7. It was the perfect level of spiciness-- spicy enough that my nose runs, but it doesn't burn my whole mouth. Overall it was good. A little on the runny side. I like my curry a little thicker, but maybe that was because I took it to-go?! Chicken red curry, my go-to Thai order when I am trying a place out. Or anytime I have Thai for that matter! Order 5 for spice level, and was the perfect amount of heat. Was craving Thai food, came here for the first time and of course a must try to know if it's good Thai food would be to order none other than pad thai. We also ordered the sampler and spicy beef noodles. Sampler: good, crab rangoon was our favorite out of the bunch Pad Thai: just ok, the flavors were all there but it was too dressed so the sauce made it too overwhelming Spicy beef noodles: great! Would definitely order this again and again... Not the best thai food I've had but it did satisfy my craving. It is a lil hard to find great thai food around this neck of the woods. read more

Honestly, I'm from San Diego and I've had a rough time trying to find a place in Oceanside that fulfills my Thai taste needs, we're spoiled down in San Diego! But I love Thai Table, they don't lack in taste or spice and their flavors are rich and palette pleasing. I love the Panang duck curry because it's spicy, rich in flavors and has a variety of vegetables!! The Pad Thai is the best the noodles have the perfect consistency, they don't clump but still have body when you bite into them! This is my absolute favorite Thai restaurant in North County! It's pretty much the only place I'll go for Thai ever since the first time I tried it! Their brown rice is amazing! I'm pretty sure it's a brown rice/red rice mixture but it is so good! I usually get some sort of curry and they're all on point. I tried their spicy fried rice today and it was fantastic! Their cashew chicken and pad thai are also really good, so it probably just depends on what you like, but you won't be disappointed! I always held Bangkok Bay in Solana Beach as the best Thai food in NC, but Thai Table has definitely taken the crown in my book! read more

Love this place, great authentic Thai food! Tried their wonton soup randomly and it was amazing except very cheap in the actual wontons.. they definitely need to add at least 6-8 to an order not 3.. even though the broth was fantastic is left me unfulfilled to say the least.. don't be so cheap on your wontons and I'll be back for more ! read more

Came here the night before Carlsbad Marathon as our carbo-loading meal. There was one other runner gathering there, so we weren't the only one avoiding the pasta! We got fried pineapple rice and pad thai. The pad thai was a little on the wet side, but tasty. I got tofu, which was both in fresh and baked form. The rice had a nice Chinese five-spice flavor. Since we were intentionally pigging out, we finished the rice but only 1/3 of the pad thai, which made a good-sized leftovers portion. The sampler appetizer came with cream cheese crab dumplings, veggie egg rolls, shrimp rolls, and pork gyoza. Place was clean and service was pretty good. The food is outstanding with an excellent menu of different dishes to select. The menu provides a picture of each dish which is very helpful. In addition, the dishes can be selected across a range of different spice levels (from 1 to 10) to match your taste preference. The restaurant is small with an average decor but this is the place to go for the food which is amazingly delicious! read more

It's been a year and a half since I went, so I decided to go again just to see if maybe things have improved - and they have! Yay!!!! The food is tasty and fresh but the wait is way too long. Took about 10 minutes to get a table (no one ahead of us) and 30+ minutes to get food. Oh, and there was only about 15 people in the restaurant. Thai food was great when it finally came out. I had the Pad Thai and it hit the right spot. I've been eating Thai food since I was 4 (and also been to Thailand) and would say that this place is probably one of my favorite Thai Restaraunts. Was skeptic at first since the Tom Yum Kai had tomatoes in it and it just tasted like Thai Tomato Soup. But the Thai Tea, Musamun, Pad Thai and Spicy Basil Fried Rice we phenomenal and full of flavor. Musamun had their beef cut a little bit thicker which helped it retain its flavor and juice. I have eaten at all the "great" Thai places. Lotus of Siam ...Nisa's Thai and many others. This place holds its own. Great food. My go to is Spicy Noodles spice level 7. The other thing I like is that when you ask for spice level 7 they bring it. I have gone up to 9 and even 10 and trust me you can tell the difference. I'm like why am I sweating? We love this place. The food is delicious. It is prefect for vegans and non-vegans. I love the spicy noodles, the crispy shrimp rolls and my wife love spicy basil eggplant and fresh spring rolls. We also loved their soups. It is not cheap but will worth the price. One thing: service is not their strong point. It can take a while to get service BUT I still highly recommend it but that is why it is a 4 and not a 5. read more
