We live in Andover and this is our go-to local restaurant. The restaurant is extremely clean, the dishes are fresh and tasty; the service is friendly and the prices are fair. Try the "curry puffs" (which come with a sweet sauce) and "shrimp in a blanket" for appetizers. For entrees, the Chicken Hot Basil and Siam Chili Salmon, both moderately spicy, are excellent. They were easily able to accommodate a vegan order Vegan pad thai was solely noodles, sauce, and tofu, with a nice sprig of green. Haven't been here in a while, food is ok but service was really lousy tonight. Surprisingly bad as it was never a problem in the past. Never caught anyone to get refills on water, so one glass limit I guess. Nobody ever stopped by to see how our food was. Nobody. Ever. We kept waving for someone, anyone to bring a check. Finally our waitress came roaring back, she didn't say anything at all and quickly piled all the dishes on top of each other and ran to the back. When she came back with the check I told her we wanted to take the food home but she said she had put it in the trash, so without our food I paid my 20% tip for nothing else but to appease my wife and we left. Small businesses work so hard to get customers in the door and careless employees push them away. Their food is consistently great, we typically get the same thing every time so not able to speak to all menu items, but the pad Thai, basil fried rice and curry puffs are all top notch. I think that adding 5 minutes to your pickup time is a good idea, as it seems they do a ton of takeout. Dining in is a good option if you can. read more

I get Vegetable Green Curry every chance I get when I travel and I was so impressed to have found the best I've ever had here. There were a wonderful variety of vegetables - eggplant, carrot, celery, peppers, mushroom, bamboo, and I'm probably forgetting a couple more. The vegetables were cooked perfectly - slightly tender but with perfect texture to bite. The curry had heat enough to observe but not enough to be uncomfortable. They have a brown rice option - and only $2 for a side to add. The service is just as warm and friendly as the restaurant is. It is in a strip mall, but once you're in you forget that. Beautiful plants all around the window with string lights and immaculate tables but best of all, the most delicious fragrant - savory smell with a note of sweetness that I can't put my finger on, but adore. Ordered takeout today for office lunch meeting. Overall food was good, mainly Pad Thai. Also ordered other main dishes, hot basil and pad pikking that didn't come with rice to eat with. When called to find out why there was no rice, I was told I had to add rice to my order for a fee. Never had I ordered a main dish from any Asian restaurants that doesn't come with white rice of some sort. That was disappointing. One of my favorite thai spots to hit up. The restaurant itself is super cute with pink walls and lots of plants. Service is always quick and everyone is super friendly. Amazing food at a great price! Menu is so big you will have tons of options to pick from for everyone in your group. My wife and I came here for dinner yesterday and randomly found this place as we were on a drive out of CT. Wow were we lucky! All the food we had was really good! We ordered the shrimp in a blanket, pad see you (with Chinese broccoli), and crazy noodle. The shrimp in a blanket had minced chicken and a piece of ginger tucked inside the roll with the shrimp. It was odd for my wife, but I thought the ginger helped provide a tangy contrast to the deep fried-ness of the dish. It also came with a sweet chilli sauce that did not taste store bought. It was very good. The pad see you was also really delicious. It was my wife's dish, but from the taste I had, I really enjoyed the char that seemed to permeate the noodles and chicken in it. She didn't like that the noodles seemed to be in pieces, but overall, liked the dish. The crazy noodle though, that's where it's at. It had a strong thai basil taste and has a very nice spicy kick to it. It was very flavorful and it helped that it was still piping hot even after eating it for a little bit. As far as service, things were okay overall. Had to flag the waiter down to get some water, but it was almost closing time, so I don't really blame them. Went here for the first time last night for dinner. Got Pad Thai and it was really good. Admittedly my taste judgement might have been a bit blurred by the few drinks I'd consumed earlier..... but drunk me really appreciated the wholesomeness of the meal. It was a pretty big portion, too (And I ate it all because it was so delish - how does my stomach become so much more capable with alcohol?). Pad Thai comes with shrimp and chicken - no substitution! They make a batch like that so if you want tofu like I did, you add it onto all that chicken and shrimp. A little unfortunate set-up... but regardless, it was good. Dined on a Saturday evening around 6 pm. The restaurant was busy but there wasn't a wait. Our waiter came over within minutes to greet us and offer drinks (tap water for me and the hubby) and we ordered the steamed dumplings as an appetizer as we decided on our entrees to share. 6 dumplings arrived in a fair amount of time, just the right amount of dumpling wrap as they are sometimes very doughy and thick. The dipping sauce was a touch of sweetness and spicy ...not like the soy sauce dip you usually get. We decided to share the pad Thai, cashew chicken with mild spice and the green garden (steamed veggies with a side of peanut sauce) and a side of brown rice. The pad Thai was excellent (I've had it before here and always think theirs is the best). I love sticky rice and noodles so the pad Thai here is fairly "sticky" and the flavors just pop. The cashew chicken had chunks of pineapple, onion slices, peppers, cashews and the chicken was very tasty in the sweet and spicy sauce. Of the 3 entree dishes, the green garden had to be my least favorite due primarily to lack of taste since the veggies come steamed and you pour the peanut sauce over it or dip it. We'd asked to start with the green papaya salad, and then we ordered 2 entrees. After at least 15 minutes, possibly longer, out came our salad. And 2 minutes after that, out came our hot entrees! It's annoying when you want to eat one before the other, but we didn't want the hot food to get cold, so the good papaya salad had to wait. Yelpers, I went back here after the owner reached out to me about me only fair experience. The meal was greatly improved. The owner conveyed a sincere apology for my experience and the second time was excellent. I order appetizers, yellow and green curry as well as a Thai special. Found this place beside my local grocer, and why not try some Asian (Thai) food? I ordered the Siam Duck, and it was great. It was boneless - although it didn't look like it, but everything could be chewed through. The meat was succulent and not dry, and the sweet tamarind sauce was definitely a good add-on. However, the vegetable sides could have been cooked a bit more. Also, if the rice portion could have been more, this would be a certain great value for money. Nonetheless, it was a good dish to have. I would say it's relatively cheaper than what other restaurants would charge. Ambience is nice, and I've noticed that it got pretty crowded on weekday nights. Came here with my mom and dad tonight and we all LOVED the food. The best part about this place is the menu. The have options for everyone. Whether you be a meat eater, vegetarian, vegan, or like gluten free options they have a meal for you. I got the Fresh Basil and Mint Spring Rolls and The Mango Cucumber Salad. Both were so yummy. I was terribly disappointed with the quality of the food. The Bangkok Dice was burnt and dry. The first time we ordered it, it was amazing which is how we got hooked on it. The last time, it was burned and dry. I figured it must have been a bad day so I tried them again. This time it was the same thing. They should be embarrassed to serve it this way. The rice was mushy and nothing to write home about. There were so few noodles in the Drunken Noodles that I wasn't even sure that that was the right dish & it was not spicy at all. While I understand that everyone is struggling to keep staff, I feel like they have changed ownership or management and will be looking for another place to get Thai unfortunately as the quality of the food just has gone too far down for me. Wonderful restaurant with great food tucked in Shawsheen Plaza. Had a very nice lunch here. Crazy noodle and Pad Thai were both delicious and seems to be popular choices. I'm presuming a lunch portion is smaller but not sure. I could fill up on apps but settled on Satay Chicken and the delicious peanut sauce. This sauce is thicker than many I've had more like thin sticky peanut butter yummy. Hardly anybody in the restaurant so thought service would be quick. Ordered a cup of Wonton Soup with the Thai Basil Salad. The cup of wonton soup was good but I'm afraid that was the only silver lining of this experience. It took them at least a half hour to bring out the salad. With hardly anybody in the restaurant, I was very puzzled on why it took so long. I had to ask my waitress to check on it as I saw food being brought out for a couple that had been seated after me. She apologized, but with hardly anybody in the restaurant (there were probably 2-3 people at most) I feel like there wasn't really a good excuse on forgetting to serve your guest. Just when we thought their food couldn't get any better, Thai Sweet Basil surpassed even themselves! Always delicious! Consistency is their secret. Never a bad meal or experience. Solid Thai food with good consistency. Recommended. I like the red curry which has coconut and plenty of vegetables. I order this along with a side of white rice. I typically pair up a curry and rice with a delicious salad. I'm a big papaya salad fan, I also order the mango salad. The pad Thai is also good, Ive also ordered the Thai tea. In short I've never been let down by the items I've ordered from here. I wish there delivery radius was larger.
