Just like others have said, this restaurant is in a strip mall on a busy street, so it's easy to find and navigate to. There's plenty of free parking out front as well. When I visited on a weekday evening, there was nobody else dining there-just one lone Door Dasher coming to pick up a delivery order. It felt kind of odd, but it was also nice to have the place to ourselves. Food was prepared quickly and was tasty. The stir fry that my wife ordered a had a bit of a kick to it, but wasn't overly spicy. The vegetables were cooked nicely and had a good flavor as well. Nothing was outrageous that sticks out as memorable about our visit, but I'd have no hesitation in returning to try even more items from the very large menu.

The service is a little slow since they're a small restaurant but the waitress was such a nice lady. She was very accommodating and had a great attitude. I ordered a thai iced tea and it was crazy sweet. Not my type but i can see it being good for someone with a sweet tooth For my meal, I got the thai spice fried rice. It was kind of sweet and was packed full of flavor. It came with a variety of protein and it all went well together.

We're in Utah for a couple of days and decided to come back to this place. The first time I came here was in 2014 and all I remember is that it was really good. After we ordered our food and I started eating I honestly lost sight of the world around me. Everything was a blur. Only I and the food existed and it was like an out of body experience. I kid you not, the food was so good I had 4 servings! 4 servings! This food hit my soul and took me on a beautiful journey where only good things exist and all is well in the world. I have had Thai food from other places in other states and this place is way up there in flavor, I mean way up there. I highly highly highly recommend this place.

Despite it's close proximity to my home, I had never been to Thai Spice until just a few weeks ago (and to be perfectly honest, only because I could not get ahold of my preferred Thai restaurant). It's a pretty standard spot, with all the standard dishes, but depending on what you're looking for, that's no bad thing. We called ahead to order take out, and were informed it would take 45 minutes to be prepared. This strip has limited parking, considering the amount of businesses there, but you can park along the East side and nearer Hoppers if you get desperate. The interior of Thai Spice is pleasantly dark and moody, and appeared clean. It was fairly busy on a Friday night. We arrived right at 45 minutes from our call, and our order was all packed and ready to go. Servers were friendly enough, and we were quickly on our way. We shared the following: Combo sampler - This includes two each of chicken satay, samosas, and eggrolls, plus a sweet chili sauce and a peanut sauce. The fried items were decently crispy, the chicken cooked well, and I liked the samosas (filled with meat and peas in a mild (read: would like it stronger) curry seasoning) best of all. Chicken Pad Thai - This was probably the least favorite of everyone. It was not bad, but simply consisted of tons of greasy noodles, a bit of chicken, and a sprinkle of bean sprouts. Flavor was uninspired, and over-sweet, and it needed brightening by some herbs and/or more vegetables. Chicken and Broccoli - Another standard/boring dish, but the broccoli was perfectly crisp-tender. Sauce was quite sweet. Tom Kha Gai Soup-I missed the slivers of kaffir lime typically found atop this soup (there was one whole leaf floating in the broth, but it did not impart as intense a flavor), otherwise this was yummy. Massaman curry-Creamy, peanutty, and a little spicier than we were expecting (we had kids dining, so that was the only reason for any concern), but I loved the heat, and it was not overwhelming! Yellow Curry-Another great curry, with lots of yummy vegetables (I particularly dug the potato in both of 'em). They sent us home with a generous amount of rice, and everything we had tasted good (the curries most of all!), but it was all so oily! If you are looking for average/standard Thai dishes, you will be totally satisfied here. Not a new favorite for me, but it'll curb that Thai craving when it hits.

I've seen several posts calling it a "dupe," so I was really excited to try it. Unfortunately, my experience didn't live up to that expectation, and I wouldn't recommend coming here specifically for that comparison. The restaurant itself is clean and has an authentic feel. The hostess was kind, though very soft-spoken and a bit hard to hear. I did appreciate that she noticed we had kids and thoughtfully set our table with kid-friendly plates and bowls, which was a nice touch. We ordered a variety of items to get a good feel for the menu. I was especially excited to share this experience with my husband, but overall, he wasn't a fan of several of the dishes. That said, there were definitely some highlights. My kids and I really enjoyed the ham fried rice, beef and broccoli, and the chicken dumplings--those were all flavorful and satisfying. The spicy wontons, however, were disappointing. The sauce tasted mostly like oil and water, lacking the flavor I expected. I did mention it to our server, who was very understanding. She offered a replacement and ended up removing it from our check, which I appreciated. Overall, while there were a few dishes we liked and would recommend, the experience as a whole didn't quite hit the mark for us. We likely won't be returning.

We came on a Saturday around 2:30pm and were able to still get the lunch combo deal (11-3). My bf ordered their sweet and sour chicken lunch combo and literally said it was the best sweet and sour chicken he's ever had (!!). It also only cost $11.90, which - in this economy?? - feels unheard of! I got the fried pork in soy sauce which more resembles braised pork belly with a sweet ginger soy sauce. Super super good, and the two other friends that I've brought here both liked my dish better than theirs ;) My one complaint is that it's just meat. I wish it came with some bok choy or some other veggies to help balance it out! You may also need to request a side of rice since it doesn't come with. We came again a week later because my bf was craving their sweet and sour chicken again (lol) and weirdly the Mr. Feng's menu wasn't provided, just the Noodle and Dumpling one, so we couldn't get the lunch special. I'm not sure if that was a mistake or if they're getting rid of Mr. Feng's completely and replacing it with Noodle and Dumpling? :( My bf got the sweet and sour entree and said it was still good, but the chicken wasn't as crispy. I opted for the general tso's chicken which was really yummy but also really spicy. Idk if they accidentally chopped up some spicy peppers instead of bell peppers, but I was definitely struggling, and I can handle heat! As for service, you may be waiting a while (especially at the front desk since their bell doesn't work lol). It feels like an authentic Chinese restaurant, but that being said their service is possibly more attentive than expected. The waiter we had both times was such a sweet man and was trying his best despite it being busy. My bf and I both fell in love with him, and we secretly joke that he's my bf's new best friend haha. Ambiance is honestly fairly dingy lol but you should go for their good quality food rather than their atmosphere. You'll find your utensils and napkins at the table. Next time I plan to try their egg and tomato or their fried intestines, which I saw on their noodle and dumpling menu!

Or from what I understand, it's one restaurant that was just revamped. On maps it says Mr. Feng's, but then there's also another business called Ten Seconds Yunnan Rice Noodle, but then when you drive to the physical location I saw another name called Dumplings something. Super confusing! The front door to Mr. Feng's was also locked, so you have to go around the side (where the parking lot is located) to enter. Anyways, I only saw one waiter during my experience and he was great! He was super charismatic and friendly. Again, some confusion with the menu occurred and he tried his best to explain. It sounds like there's an authentic menu and then a more Americanized menu selection. I got the spicy beef noodle soup, and my friends got the sweet and sour chicken and spicy Szechuan chicken. Overall, nothing spectacular to report. My dish was not spicy at all, but it had flavor. The beef was a bit chewy, but it tasted alright. However, it was reported that the sweet and sour chicken was bland, and the Szechuan chicken was both bland and dry. I'm sad we didn't have a better experience because it seems like an authentic family owned business. The ambiance gives hole in the wall, but just wish our food tasted better!
