Fantastic service and unreal food. Easily the best Thai spot I've ever tried, I'm excited to eat here again.

Hello Thai heaven. Every dish was amazing. The space is small and humble, but very clean, and the staff/owner was incredibly nice and helpful. We over-ordered, but had to try a little of everything, and who doesn't like Thai leftovers!!?? Egg rolls - great! nice filling, crispy, and dipping sauce was yummy. Pad Thai w/chicken, awesome, great flavor, perfect texture, noodles were perfect Pineapple fried rice w/shrimp- so good! Chicken katsu w/an orange sauce, my boys loved this!! Best they've had in Utah! Pumpkin chicken curry - excellent, so many chunks of pumpkin, delicious sauce! Drunken noodles with shrimp - excellent, agin great flavor, perfect noodle texture, and the shrimp is plump and cooked perfect! Green curry- another fantastic dish, loved it Pan fried salmon, my favorite! Perfectly cooked salmon, with a slight sear, the vegetables that accompany the salmon again cooked to perfection, not too soft, not too hard, and the stir fry sauce was so delicious!! The only dish that needed help was the pork belly, it was hard, possibly fried for too long. Some of the best Thai food we've had in Utah. We ordered the Pad Thai, Drunken Noodles, and Crispy Chicken Cashew--every dish was outstanding. When we first arrived, we had the place to ourselves, but it gradually filled up, and there was a steady stream of takeout orders going out as well. Service was excellent--we were taken care of by who we believe was the owner, and they couldn't have been more friendly or attentive. The space is much larger than it looks from the outside, and it's clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. Safe to say... we'll definitely be back. read more

This spot used to be One Noodle Bar but it's now under new ownership- Tha Siam has come in with some great dishes on the menu! I came in for lunch and ordered Massaman curry with pork and Pad See Ew with beef. The egg rolls were freshly fried and made in-house everyday, which was a nice touch. The Pad See Ew was packed with flavor and perfectly cooked. I also enjoyed the peanuts in the Massaman curry, which was creamy and balanced without being overly sweet like at some other Thai restaurants. I did an online takeout order here and was a little frustrated by a "service fee," so that wasn't a great first impression. I'm happy to say the food proved worth it. On a winter day following some stomach issues, chicken pho was the only thing I wanted to eat for dinner. I also ordered some pad see ew for my husband. We saved a lot of money doing it that way (does anyone else wildly overspend at Thai restaurants?). It was still $40 just for the pho and the one dish. I came in just before 5. Our food was ready when promised, and it was hot. I don't have many observations about the ambiance since we didn't sit inside, but it looked clean and nicely decorated. My pho did not disappoint, other than I think the serving of chicken could be a little more generous. The pad see ew was awesome; my husband ate the whole thing and didn't even keep leftovers. Our toddler enjoyed my soup as well and requested more the next day, but I had already eaten it (sorry, son). Next time we go for Thai, I'd be happy to sit inside this spot and try some other dishes. I'd also gladly order pho for takeout again. Definitely give this spot a go, and be prepared for normal Thai restaurant prices. read more

Love this new Thai place! Super close to home! The server and his wife (who cooks the food) are very nice and friendly. I recommend this place to eat always when I am with my friends or family. Checked out this newish neighborhood spot in a space that's seen many a restaurant come and go. It's definitely worth a visit and I hope it sticks around and lasts. I think the landlord is charging too much for rent, but more on that later. Staff was incredibly nice and friendly. Food came out quick. It was one of the best flavored drunken noodles I've ever had. The chicken Larb was good and the mint was a nice touch. The papaya salad was also excellent. The plating was unique and fun. This was a great experience. My only qualm is that the prices are a little high. I attribute this to their rent and don't fault them for it. This was our first time trying it and we are so glad! I haven't found really good Thai food in Salt Lake so this was a great surprise. We came here on a Sunday and it was open and they were very pleasant and the decor in this strip mall restaurant is absolutely adorable and authentic. We live in Los Angeles near Thai Town and have had lots of amazing Thai food. We stumbled across Thai Siam Bistro while looking for a place that was open on Christmas, and it was the best Thai food we've had. The tom kha is next level; the pad see ew and panang were delicious, and the mango sticky rice was amazing. In fact, it was so good that we came back the very next day with my parents, who are older and insisted it was the first time they'd had Thai food (it wasn't). So their opinion isn't entirely reliable, but when asked what he thought about the tom kha, my dad replied, "It has chicken in it." Do with that what you will, but the tl;dr is: this place is incredible, and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for great Thai food and a friendly, attentive staff who clearly care about what they do. read more

But what made this stand out was our server, Chai, who may well be the owner. He was very pleasant and helpful. The five of us had 2 crispy tofu, 5 fried Thai dumplings, pad Thai (my favorite as usual), crispy chicken cashew, Thaisiam pho, yellow curry, pineapple fried rice (served in a half pineapple), and one Thai ice tea.
