We all understand that these little strip-mall Chinese places are not the apex of Chinese cuisine…read more That does not exist around here, but once in a while this sounds good to us and China King serves the purpose. First of all, it is very close to where we stay. Second, it is really an inexpensive meal for us. We always order the small portions for our meals and the small portion makes two meals at about $5-$6 per meal. Not bad! MS T is generally not going to order the spicier dishes and gets something like Chicken and Broccoli. I am always looking for a dish with pork or chicken and plenty of vegetables, in a brown sauce (not the clear wallpaper paste ones) and I want it spicy. China King is a little on the bland side, but my most recent order of Hunan Chicken, extra spicy, was really pretty good. We always make sure to have our own soy sauce, duck sauce and sambal oolek so we can dress things up a little. In this case I did not need more than an extra splash of soy sauce. They also make acceptable egg rolls. I don't know, but maybe they have gotten a little better over the past few years. It appears from the carryout I saw, while waiting for mine, that they do a good business. I will be ready for another visit before we depart in a few weeks. Three stars is A-OK with me.

The…read moreMongolian grill that I go to near my house is all you can eat and the rules are simple: fill up a bowl, give it to the chef and they cook it for you. This Mongolian grill: sit down, look at a menu, decide to get the Mongolian grill, get a ticket, put your name on it, decide which size bowl to get, what kind of rice, take your bowl and ticket up to the raw ingredients area, fill it up, use those sauces but don't use those sauces, give it to the cook, they cook it and then deliver it to your table. Anyway, the food was fresh and delicious, but this was a one and done situation. If you visit: pile up all the ingredients as high as you can to get the most bang for your buck. And good luck with the sauces. Inside is very nice and clean.

Overall, a good option if you wanted something with an Asian flare. Pricing seemed a bit high as compared to other Mongolian Grills.

I love sushi and due to my business travel have had it all over the country. The fish was fresh and plentiful. When you go to some sushi restaurants, the nigiri and sashimi can be short and thin. That is definitely not the case here. You receive nice slabs of fresh fish. Delicious! I also love Thia food. I wish I could have had more, but settled for the green papaya salad as my appetizer to be shared. My other guests had never had it before but everyone agreed it was very good. My wife had the panang chicken curry and enjoyed that along with some sushi. My two other guests also enjoyed their sushi and stated how fresh the tuna was multiple times. The place was busy but clean. I liked that Single Fin did not skimp on the sushi but also on the little things like having quality chop sticks. The prices were reasonable. Service was good but could have been better. I fully understand that beach service is tough and we were there after Labor Day. We are here for two weeks and will definitely return for more.
