It's refreshing to find Thai Cuisine in the Outer Banks area. So naturally, we had to stop by and try it out. Their menu offers a diverse selection of curries, and stir fried dishes. Choosing which ones to order can be challenging as it was hard to decide between all of the offerings. The entrees came out in large portions, and was timely. Staff was attentive and helpful. Their dining area has plenty of tables and seating, and offers a good atmosphere. So if you like Thai Cuisine and happens to be in the Outer Banks area, you need to try out this place. Food: 5

We stopped in for dinner two nights of our vacation for a delicious meal. The service is outstanding and the food has delicious flavors. I highly recommend this restaurant

I'm so glad we came here. Panang curry was fantastic! I ordered Hot and that was really hot even for an Indian taste buds. Liked it! The decor is beautiful. And the guy who was serving us was super nice. The Panang curry paste was probably made at the restaurant. It definitely felt more homely. Also, I think they ground fresh coconut with the curry paste. Generally, you can tell when they add the store bought coconut milk on top. It was really good.

everything simply amazing! almost caught ourselves planning to eat there after 1 meal. everything is made to order, hot && fresh, flavorful and a huge serving! as soon as you order the turn around time is quick. its a holiday weekend so can expect why they were busy && thankfully they have a reset because on a day like we went it was needed!

Every time we visit Kill Devil Hills we eat at the Thai Room. It's so authentic and delicious. I especially love the veggies they use for their dishes, always fresh and plenty!

We stopped here for an early lunch and it was incredible. I'm a bit of a heat seeker so, I ordered everything hot! My mom and cousin tried the basil fried rice while I had Spicy Thai noodles with beef (pad thai) we also had pork dumplings spring rolls and summer rolls the drinks were delicious and refreshing

Thai Room's food is always delicious and consistent and reasonably priced! I could eat their pad thai, fried dumplings, and crab rangoon at least 2-3x a week! Service is always fast and friendly and it's a welcoming environment!

We were looking for an Asian restaurant and saw this one on yelp. We got there when they first opened and were greeted and sat right away. We ordered the satay as an appetizer. It was really good and I liked the mixture of pork and chicken. I have the basil noodles with shrimp. I got mine mild but it was a little spicy. Overall a pretty good meal.

I guess the Rockfish tacos were a daily special, so I ordered the "World Famous" Mahi tacos while Ms T ordered a crabcake sandwich. I think we were both a little disappointed. Her sandwich was definitely for bun lovers. She tore off enough bread for another sandwich and still had plenty. Restaurants are often guilty of conflating a huge bun with good sandwich. She was not particularly impressed with the crab cake, saying it was overloaded with thyme. I ordered my Mahi "blackened" and it really was not. The seasonings were good although also heavy with thyme. The flour tortillas were of poor quality, very thin and leathery and not provided hot. Hence the tacos were room temperature when eaten. I liked the finely shredded cheese that was not served refrigerator cold. The white sauce they serve is just wrong for these tacos. It is too sweet, too tart, making it harsh. Instead, I used the sauce that came with her crab cake and that was much better. Finally the mahi was very dry. I guess that is kind of the way that mahi is, but this really needed plenty of sauce. Kudos to them for serving good jasmine rice. This was not as good as we remembered. It is OK, not great and could be improved with just a few changes. We should have tried the burgers.

The absolute rudest, entitled, oblivious and demanding people I've ever seen. (Aka the just turned 21 crowd). For people looking for a more "already know bar rules" definitely go around 11:30. It's off season so getting table at lunch was easy. Staff seated us and took our order quickly. They were super friendly and gave us the "pointers" on food( no lettuce or tomatoe here). Draft beer and cocktails available. Food was super delicious and not overly gigantic. Our burgers were grilled perfectly with just a minimum amount of condiments(.50) for shrooms, grilled onions and mayo(yup, mayo costs money). The tots are a seasonal thing so I got that. Delicious as tots are usually a staple in my diet. Sodas are free refills and our server even gave me a to-go cup. I live a refreshing fountain soda. The indoor dining area has lots of beach themed decor. There is a full bar at the front. I think on the weekends and summer season they also have outdoor music.
