First of all, it is very close to where we stay. Second, it is really an inexpensive meal for us. We always order the small portions for our meals and the small portion makes two meals at about $5-$6 per meal. Not bad! MS T is generally not going to order the spicier dishes and gets something like Chicken and Broccoli. I am always looking for a dish with pork or chicken and plenty of vegetables, in a brown sauce (not the clear wallpaper paste ones) and I want it spicy. China King is a little on the bland side, but my most recent order of Hunan Chicken, extra spicy, was really pretty good. We always make sure to have our own soy sauce, duck sauce and sambal oolek so we can dress things up a little. In this case I did not need more than an extra splash of soy sauce. They also make acceptable egg rolls. I don't know, but maybe they have gotten a little better over the past few years. It appears from the carryout I saw, while waiting for mine, that they do a good business. I will be ready for another visit before we depart in a few weeks. Three stars is A-OK with me.
