Hands down, awesome! Great menu selection, the best of sushi, and fantastic service all around…read more If you like sushi, or Asian cuisine, this is a MUST.

We were in the mood for Thai so we drove down to Nags Head for lunch at Single Fin Thai Sushi…read more Our Caramelized Eggplant app was a dud, namely because there was nothing caramelized in the dish. We received about a cup of fried cubes of eggplant with some uncooked cashews thrown on top. I think the promised homemade soy was supposed to form the caramel, but it was MIA. We both tried the Sautéed Thai Basil. My dining companion ordered hers with chicken and not spicy. It was a meh for her and thought the chicken was overcooked to the point of being tough and rubbery. I ordered my meal with tofu and spicy. It was good; spicy enough that I sniffled but not so spicy that I teared up. The tofu seemed like it had probably been marinated and had a nice texture. Service was pleasant enough but not especially attentive. The restaurant is located in a strip mall and was attractively decorated. All in all, Single Fin Thai Sushi rates as a low 3-star restaurant, mainly because of the preparation of my tofu. In fairness, the OBX is not a hotbed for Thai or any other Asian food, so I'm grateful that it's an option.

Great OBX experience for the whole family. Super fun and entertaining dinner. Great Food hot fresh…read morereasonable prices and prepared right before your eyes. The table fried rice was great had great flavor, great ingredients and was not greasy at all. For the proteins they were prepared and seasoned perfectly. We were a party of 8 people so we got to try a bunch of the hibachi offerings. Steaks were tender and delicious. The chicken was seasoned and flavorful not dried out. I am not a seafood eater but the shrimp smelled and looked awesome, the person that ordered it loved it. Pro tip 1 - if going for dinner especially with 4 or more people get there around 4-430 and wait in parking lot until they open the doors for dinner at 5. They don't take reservations so if you miss that window of opportunity you will be waiting for a while to be seated. Pro tip #2 get the if seated before 6pm coupon from the local tourist books it's 20% off each persons entree. Definitely saved us some $$$ The Chief was super engaging, talented, and very funny cracking jokes and full of great hibachi cooking moves. This was our first visit to Fuji and we will definitely be back next year during our OBX vacation!!!

If you have to wait, there's a cool little bar outside in the back where you can order from theimited food/drink menu. There's also 2 sand volleyball courts where some serious (and not serious v-ball is played). Our 6th grade daughter is trying to get on her school volleyball team, so we brought her here to get some training with a local volleyball coach who happened to be here giving lessons. Our dogs, my wife and I just chilled out, drinking beer and mixed drinks while our daughter got some good work in for just $15 per hour. Win-win.

The mahi was incredibly fresh, perfectly blackened, and packed with flavor. The fresh slaw and creamy sauce complemented the fish perfectly without overpowering it. The yellow rice and black beans on the side were delicious and made for a complete meal. Everything tasted fresh, and the portions were generous. The atmosphere was fun and laid-back, exactly what you'd expect from a great beach restaurant. Service was friendly, attentive, and our food came out quickly. If you're in Nags Head and looking for a great food and dining experience, Tortuga's Lie is a must-visit. The mahi-mahi fish tacos alone are worth the trip! We'll definitely be back on our next visit to the Outer Banks.

We were seated right away and the service from start to finish was absolutely wonderful -- friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Our daughter absolutely loved the popcorn shrimp, and the hush puppy basket was a huge hit at the table. The mashed garlic red potatoes were the perfect accompaniment to the perfectly cooked filets we ordered. We even took dessert to go and wow -- the Reese's cheesecake and key lime pie were sooo good and absolutely yummy! The perfect ending to an amazing meal.
