Our go to spot for sushi in the outer banks. It's not over the top expensive and they have some really great rolls for takeout. Easy to order on the phone and pay when you pick up, staff does a good job running the place. Not a big restaurant but they have quite a few hibachi tables as they are both a hibachi and sushi place. My favorite roll has to be the Island roll, and recently we tried and enjoyed the Fuji and the Red City rolls.

The sushi here is absolutely delicious! So fresh, tasty, rather quick to come out! Staff was busy but still attentive. Price wasn't too bad. Try the shrimp fried rice if you get a chance!

For a Tuesday night it was quite busy, which is a compliment to the establishment. Our food was quick and tasty. Our hibachi chef was pleasant and not over indulgent as some can be. They have Sapporo Beer, which is one of my favorites. My wife and daughter had The Volcano, which was gone quickly. Parking was good. I suggest leaving out the side road as US 158 is tough to get out.

My daughter took me here to celebrate an early birthday dinner since we wouldn't be together on New Year's and this place did not disappoint! Both my husband and I had the filet mignon, chicken, and shrimp to accompany the fried rice! WOW! HUGE portions and the food was amazing! I was pleasantly impressed that the chef prepared my daughter's and grandson's portion separately on another grill due to food allergies. Last but certainly not least, the entertainment conducted by the chef was extraordinary! I will definitely visit again when I return next year!

Had some hibachi from Fuji Steakhouse and Japanese Bar and it was a great meal. There are 4 hibachi tables and they have a sushi bar on the other side of the restaurant. It's a Saturday night and we were seated right away and the chef came 10 minutes later. He was funny, quick, and he cooked the food perfectly. I ordered the filet mignon with a side of noodles(charged extra). The hibachi dinner comes with soup, salad, fried rice, and veggies. It was very tasty and the proportions are enormous so you definitely get your money's worth. It was so much food so you better go hungry or consider splitting a plate. The wait staff were all friendly and overall it was a very good meal

Their sushi is amazing! I got the spicy beach roll & the tarheel roll... 100000/10 some of the most delicious sushi I've ever had.

The flaming volcano drink is huge! The Christmas tree roll and marine roll were delicious.

Dumplings were so good, never had ramen like this and was absolutely impressed. Place is also spotless clean, fast and good service, they also accommodated for me to change up my ramen bowl! I like to keep it local and support small businesses and this one I will be back.

I had the sense that Hokkaido is a chain, and this was confirmed. Nevertheless, we had a decent lunch. We are not ramen experts, and I am sure this is kind of like strip mall Chinese, acceptable unless you have been to Japan and can appreciate the difference. We shared Gyoza and Calamari. Both were good, but I particularly liked the Gyoza with thin wrappers, well flavored, gingery pork filling and a tart soy based dipping sauce. Then we shared a bowl of Shoyu Pork Ramen. The bowl was plenty for the two of us and they brought an extra bowl for sharing. I liked the melt-in-your-mouth chashu pork, the egg was salty and delicious. The other additions: bamboo, rubbery tree-ear mushrooms and Nori seaweed all made their own contribution to the bowl. The one I don't really get is the addition of sweet corn kernels. It really does not add value but does not spoil things. The broth was not as rich as I was expecting. It needed something. Ms T added some of the table soy to hers and that helped. We were both wishing that we had saved the unused dipping sauce because addition of the vinegary soy mixture would have livened things up. However, that may not be authentic. Since we were splitting, I had to forego a spicy version of ramen, but they do have it. I think Hokkaido adds something new and different to the strip between Kitty Hawk and Nags Head. This is not really Ms T's thing, but I think I can talk her into a return. I am probably overrating it a bit at four stars, but I enjoyed it and it is better than three stars.
