    Tofu Pad Thai

We stumbled into this place on our way home from Dallas and we are so glad we did. They were having problems with their air conditioning the evening we went but the employees were so friendly and apologetic about it. Once we were seated it wasn't an issue at all. Everything we ordered tasted fresh and full of flavor. My husband and son love spicy food and ordered a level 4. The waitress explained that a 4 is pretty spicy. However it was the perfect amount of spice for them. We ordered sriracha chicken fried rice, pineapple chicken fried rice, tofu pad thai and fried tofu. We plan to return very soon.

    "Panang" curry

Ordered panang curry for takeout, and it was not even curry. Just chicken and vegetables in a thick orange sauce. Rad-Na was like thick soup. Very confused what happened.

We had Thai Riverside for lunch and I got the drunken noodles with shrimp. I thought the noodles were a bit too chewy for my taste. It could have used some more shrimp too. Might or might not try it again..

Khao Soi - real good & tasty

The Khao Soi is great. The vegetable tempura was ok. Their curries & fried rice are good.

we moved from fort worth to grapvine and needed to find another thai restaurant to get our thai fix on, and luckily this place isn't too far from our new house. i called ahead and order the lunch special, for the pad thai and the pad see ew. i got chicken for the pad see ew and beef for the pad thai. both dishes were decent, but what kinda ticked me off was that on the menu it didn't mention extra charge for beef, and when i got there they told me it was 1 dollar more. honestly 1 dollar is nothing, but its more so the principal of being upfront on the menu. if you ask for chili on the side, they'll do it. and i think this is the way to go, since you can control how spice you want it. also, the lunch special doesn't come with anything extra, i think they call it a lunch special, since its cheaper than the normal menu price.

    Cashew Chicken watery sauce

First time trying this restaurant . Flavors are good, but the sauce on the cashew chicken is super thin like water.

This little hole in the wall Thai restaurant delivers on every element. I came here with some work friends for a lunch. I walked away a new fan of what is now my favorite Thai restaurant in the area. This place is family, owned and operated. The service is phenomenal. The husband and wife team pair up to serve their clients quickly and efficiently and in a reasonable time to grab a quick lunch and get back to the office. I ordered the pad see ew And it honestly was the best pad see you I have eaten. One note of caution, when coming to this restaurant. Please know that if you order your food spicy, they really mean it. One of my friends who likes his food really spicy ordered his food with a level one spice meaning very minimal, but yet there. His eyes and nose were running the entire time he was eating, but he kept on saying how good it was!

I was in the process of moving from my airport hotel to the Gaylord, and I needed lunch. Living in Los Angeles, I love Thai food, and Thai Riverside seemed to tick all the logistical boxes, so off I went with my luggage. I was greeted warmly and told to sit anywhere I'd like--there were already a few tables seated--and once I parked myself at a table, I opted for Pad Thai. Frankly, I wasn't sure I was wildly hungry, and I wanted something easy. While Pad Thai isn't typically a spicy dish--so I wasn't quite sure what a spicy version might be like--I opted for mild but with dried chili on the side so that I could control the spice level. I think that's always the right choice at an unfamiliar restaurant, especially when they warn you that spicy is spicy (and Thai-level spicy can be a LOT). My food came out promptly, and it was tasty. It was a little more coated in that sweetish sauce than I prefer (which is why the Pad Thai at Otus in LA is so great)--though I'm aware that many places do it this way--but it was still a solid dish, and with the accompanying lime and chili flakes, I was able to cut that sweetness. (And I did indeed finish it all.) All in all, a pleasant dining experience, and I'd certainly return if I were in the area.

Ordered a large Tom Kha soup to share as a family. The portion was generous, and the flavor was great. We had chicken as our protein choice. Then as the second dish we got the duck curry with extra of protein (extra duck) and extra veggies. For a few dollars more we were able to upgrade a very delicious dish and make it substantive enough for myself, my wife, and my young son to all share together. They tuned down the spice and made it bearable for all of us and it was fantastic. Service was ok, a little slow as the servers seemed overwhelmed with only two of them covering the whole restaurant. There was a large party that walked in right before us that had 16 people. Perhaps that tainted our experience. I've been here multiple times before when I've picked up food to go, and the food quality has always been consistent , and the timing of the actual order has always been pretty fast. Verdict : 4th time is a charm (as were the first 3 times). 8/10. Would recommend

The staff were helpful and pleasant. We were offered a Happy hour menu which included cocktails (perfectly prepared and a great value!) as well as a special menu for the day. Their regular menu is so extensive that it was hard to decide so we sought professional help! Guided perfectly! Yuzu chicken with broccoli was so good and the Khao Soi with chicken - Thai northern-style egg noodle in "khao-soi" curry, pickled cabbage, red onions, scallions, roasted chilies, and crispy egg noodle - can you tell I loved this? First things first: Booths, padded seats, coke products and a full bar + mocktails (whatever those are :) They didn't skimp on decor. I appreciated the painted and wooded ceiling, lovely lighting and fans and tasteful wallpaper. But here's what you don't see every day (even in fine dining places) substantial glasses and silverware (heavy) along with fresh flowers and of course linen napkins. I didn't even realize I was missing those things! Food (let me start out with, I'm a sauce girl and I loved their sauces-both in taste and in quantity)! They give it all to you. Pot stickers in a bowl of sauce and there's crunchy on the crunchy---while laying in a scrumptious salty sauce. Cashew chicken had sooo many cashews (the perfect amount), well-cooked chicken, lots of veggies. I went mild and my husband's dish was medium spice and there was a BIG difference but as long as they're consistent, I'm good. This was my 1st time so TBD. Dessert: Warm sticky rice with mango and even though it doesn't need it (but I LOVED it) more coconut sauce on the side! The coconut ice cream was thick and creamy with coconut shavings mixed in. It's everything a dessert should be; fruity and fresh, creamy and cold, sticky and warm ---every bite is better than the last one! Service: Our server, Juan was fabulous! He anticipated our needs and made sure we had everything we needed and more. The price didn't break the bank (very fair) and the menu has a TON of variety from all regions of Thailand. This is the real deal.

Rather than focus on that, I wanted to see how the food held up on this visit. We started with the Wagyu Beef Dumplings, and they were one of the best dishes of the night. The filling was juicy and flavorful with a nice balance of Wagyu beef, ginger, onions, cabbage, and scallions. The wrapper wasn't too thick, allowing the filling to be the star. The Stir-Fried Hand-Pulled Noodles were easily my favorite dish. The fresh noodles had the perfect chewy texture and were tossed with vegetables in a savory soy sauce that coated every noodle perfectly. It's a simple dish executed extremely well. We also ordered the House Chicken Fried Rice. The fried rice itself was excellent--well-seasoned, fluffy, and flavorful. My only criticism is that the chicken lacked seasoning and didn't stand out the way the rice did. If I ordered it again, I'd probably choose beef instead. Based on this visit, I'd absolutely recommend ordering the hand-pulled noodles and Wagyu dumplings. Those two dishes alone made the trip worthwhile, and I'll be back to continue exploring the menu.

The restaurant itself is attractive both inside and outside. Upon entering we were quite hopeful that the food would match the decor. I started with egg drop soup and it was good but not as flavorful as others I have had. That would become a theme for our meal. The kid had steamed juicy dumplings and liked them, but she said that they were not as good as dumplings at Jeng Chi in Richardson. I tried a couple and agreed that they are not as good. They were fine, just not as good as others. The wife had beef noodle soup with broccoli and on the positive side the beef (brisket) was incredibly tender. However, the noodles were way over cooked and the broth lacked something. It did not have a deep, developed flavor. I had garlic chicken and on the positive side, the chicken was tender and the many types of veggies were cooked well. However, the dish was bland. It really had very little flavor, and I said to the wife that if I did not know it was garlic chicken, I would never have guessed. It was just bland. The service was friendly but our server disappeared for long periods of tine. The dumplings and soups came out fast, but my dish took forever. I actually thought that our server went on break or went home for the day. it was a really long wait. We probably would not return to this restaurant again.
