I love this place for take out, they always answer the phone and are nice and get my food as soon as humanly possible considering we are in a tourist town (it gets busy sometimes). The food is great and so is the service and sometimes when i have a day off during the summer I grab a seat on their patio and bring byob a drink and order food for dine in and enjoy a midday or sunset meal. The food was okay, but we got bad luck with the service. The server was hard to get and was talking to us in a weird way. Not sure if she was holding a grudge or something. When we asked for the check, it was not in detail and with the wrong amount. We order a pad Thai and tom yim kong soup, which was 27 in total. But the check was 38. This is the worst Thai restaurant I've ever been too. I waited for 10 mins and no one brought the menu over, so I had to get it myself, and after calling them several times, somebody finally came by to take my order. After 40 mins of waiting, I went to talk to them to let them know the situation, and owner just said I don't know what you are talking about, and the thing is, the restaurant wasn't even busy. As popular as this place seemed to be, I was decidedly disappointed. The steamed dumplings were rubbery and tasteless. I believe they had been pulled out of a freezer and microwaved. My dinner companion ordered the Pad Thai. It tasted as though it had been made from a packet of processed food. My green curry with chicken was average. The vegetables in it had not been sautéed, so they seemed raw. The curry sauce itself was average. The prices were moderate. If you're looking for quick takeaway at a good price, this place might work for you. If you're looking for something more authentic for a sit-down dinner, I would say try elsewhere. read more

Total foodie five star if you like Thai. The food is quality and the spices are authentic and spicy to order. The See Ew was delicious, and every dish we got was loved. Portions are large! We enjoyed Teton Thai Plate immensely after eating nothing but Western food for the previous 6 days. My credentials: lived in Thailand for many years and married to a Thai for 10 years; I eat a lot of Thai food. I've eaten amazing Thai food on four continents and stuff that I ended up throwing in the garbage. While the Teton Thai Plate caters to a Western audience, it's close to authentic Thai and certainly the best you're going to find in Jackson. A bit too sweet perhaps, but we ate everything happily and took the rest home. The pad Krapow with chicken was very good and authentic as was the Tom Yum Goong. I didn't care for the egg rolls or red curry so much. pad see Eaw was ok but used the wrong noodles for the dish (sen lek vs sen yai or in English - small rice noodles vs flat wide noodles). That said, it was still true to the taste and the kids didn't miss a beat eating it - they can be the harshest critics sometimes. To be totally fair to the nice folks that run the place, it's not easy getting the right ingredients or fresh noodles in Jackson - everything has to come from SLC. I would go back anytime and also recommend Teton Thai Plate to anyone in search of some Asian taste at 6,209 feet. A few notes - owner is extremely friendly as was the wait staff; atmosphere is totally casual and kid friendly. Food was alright but service was horrible. Stopped in town with a tour group for lunch with a group of 40+. What kind of establishment doesn't allow customers to use their restroom? Even worse, what kind of restaurant establishment tells customers "there's a public restroom next door"? Despite seeing a line of 10+ waiting to use the restroom, the staff adamantly refused to unlock the second restroom door and instead insisted someone was in there the whole time. It was only upon a group demanding the door be unlocked that they gave up on their obvious lie and allowed everybody to relieve themselves. Absolutely infuriating seeing how the price of the food isn't cheap either and gratuity is added onto the bill by default. AVOID IF YOU VALUE SERVICE AT ALL. By the way, you don't get served water unless you're in your seat like a toddler. read more

Small location with nice outdoor seating and kind of a hole in the wall vibe with some cool artwork inside. The indoor seating consisted of 7-8 tables and the outside seating about the same. Besides getting seated quickly at 7:30 pm on a Saturday night the service was extremely slow. The food came out quickly but we had to get up to tell the server we were ready to order and ready for the check. I will say there were only two people waiting tables so I understand being busy, but even when the restaurant began to clear out the service was slow. I had egg roles ($8) as an appetizer. They were extremely mediocre. Overly breaded and not crispy enough. For my main dish I had chicken pad kar pow ($14). The portion was huge- definitely enough to split and the spice level was good (I ordered medium spicy). The bamboo was an interesting ingredient that I had not had before. I enjoyed it but there sure was a lot of it. Overall the dish was good, but not amazing. I have definitely been to better Thai restaurants before. Again, not terrible, just not the best. read more

This place is tucked away in a side alley near an ice cream stand. With outdoor and indoor seating, it's perfect for cool summer evenings. It gets crowded and can be a little bit of a wait but the food is worth it! I would say it is one top three Thai restaurants I have been to in the US and I lived in Thailand for 6 months. My husband and I love Thai food, so we were excited to find a Thai place nearby. We ordered beef pad see ewand pad kra pow (with ground chicken). The serving sizes were HUGE (more like 2 servings per dish). The rice and flavors of the pad kra pow were great. It had lots of onions and bell peppers and bamboo (not a fan of bamboo which I ended up removing). Didn't try my husband's dish, but he almost finished it = sign it was good! This little restaurant was hard to find. It is tucked along the left side of the outdoor seating area of the Smoking Iron bar and grill. I ordered Yellow Curry with Tofu to go. They had me sit in the outdoor dining area and brought a large glass of ice water for the 15-20 minute wait. The price was $15 on a Friday evening. When I got back to the motel to eat, I was amazed at how much food they had sent. There was a quart sized plastic container for the soupy curry and a regular sized carton of white rice. The food was delicious! I don't expect yellow curry to be too hot/spicy, and this was not - just a great balance of flavors. Red and green bell pepper slices, carrots, and a few bite sized pieces of potato, as well as plenty of tofu were all good. The star, of course, was the flavorful yellow curry soup. It was so creamy and good enough to drink by itself. I was able to eat about half of the huge portion, so I am looking forward to a yummy leftover lunch tomorrow.
