French Almond Macaroons

Another excelling dining experience with Thai Pastry. We dined in on an Argyle Night Market Thursday and had great service with attentive staff. Crab rangoons here are top notch. Great filling to crunchy exterior ratio. Sweet and sour sauce was great too. Our entrees were delicious. Drunken noodles and Fried chicken on rice. Both were delicious, filling, and great portions! Our food was fresh and clearly made with love. Highly highly recommend. Plus it's close to the redline so what reason do you have to NOT visit?

Food was incredible and atmosphere was nice. The service was accurate and kind. Great looking pastries and sweet treats in addition to delicious Thai cuisine.

Went in to this cute spot while shopping around in Argyle. Seemed new and stood out. I walked in hoping they would have a good selection for pastries. They did have a few premade items like cheesecake, macaroons, and a few others. Sadly no freshly baked goods that are not refrigerated. When walking in I was the only one so the service seemed slow. I was able to look at the pastries and called over staff to get my pastry pick. I would love to come again to try their Thai food or order out.

This is a new restaurant on Argyle! It even smelled brand new on the inside. The restaurant seated us fairly quickly for how busy they were! Being a Thai restaurant, they had tons of vegetarian options. I ordered the Kee Mao (drunken noodles) and they were great! The dish already came with a lot of veggies, so I opted for tofu. I liked that they fried and cut up the tofu before adding it to the dish to give it extra texture. The dish isn't too spicy unless you happen to eat a pepper, which I did of course. We ordered crab rangoon for the table. It was yummy, very peppery, and the dipping sauce paired well. One of my friends ordered kao soi. I loved the broth and it reminded me of a panang curry - slighty sweet, spicy, and nutty. My other friend ordered the roasted duck curry. She said she loved it, and it came with a lot of duck!

Many food, drink and dessert options. Manageable portion. Delicious meal. Quick and pleasant service. Clean restaurant. Reasonably priced.

Rude staff...horrible service. There are far more authentic and pleasant places to order from. I will never be ordered from this place.

It's good, not great, food but it's open late and provides a valuable service in this lessened late-night eating landscape.

Did not wait too long but my family does not like waiting at all Ordered the soup to share- total win. I could have poured that juice in like water it was so good. The lemongrass and fresh ginger. Reminded me of the food we ate in Vietnam. Lots of shrimp, fresh mushrooms and a nice amount for a family of 4 before our meals. I ordered the Talay Pad Pong. That sauce once again made me shake my head. Could not believe how flavorful and unique it was. I shared a tiny bit with my family. Just enough to get a try of their Pad Thai. Pad Thai: I'm always like common branch out. This one did not taste anything like any other pad Thai we have had before. It was silky and saucy. Like a Thai broth- not dry like some just barely covering the noodles. Fill our two teenage boys up. Okay, dessert. Came for the mango sticky rice . Did not disappoint. We got 1 to share. Bad move. Next time 4. One for each of us. I have no idea how they made this but it was moist, purple. Sweet mango. Really kind of a dream come true. Kanom Tuay next: not really a sharing dessert, but we did. It sits in a coconut wet custard, mochi like balls- small. Very hot. In a hurry to beat our parking meter we ate quickly and learned next time. Mango sticky rice wins our tongue. Anyways, this place is vibrant , cute, friendly and delicious! Go check it out.

The bathroom is stocked and clean. We definitely spent more than we thought we would but we also got a lot of items. The plates were also large! There's a lot of items I wanted to try but they were spicy so my daughter wouldn't be able to try it. The Thai iced tea was delicious. I would definitely get it again. The Thai iced coffee was strong..I think I would pass next time. We got the tiger cry which was good but just tasted like good steak, American style. I don't think we would get it next time but I'm glad we got to try it. The chicken wings would be a pass they were small, pricey ($16) and not memorable. The main dishes were all very good! We ended the meal with the mango sticky rice. The mangoes were sweet and there was a good portion. They have a large menu and I would want to go back to try more!

The BEST Thai food - very authentic!…read more I got the Guay Tiew Nam Sood - very delicious and received great service from the staff. Feels like this place could be in Thailand!

Had a lunch there with my friends in Chicago. Actually it was highly recommended by one of my…read morefriends, who said "she had tried almost every dish on the menu". Indeed, this spot did not let me down! It is a small Thai restaurant in West Loop, with a large menu featuring monthly specials and quite a few dishes I rarely find in other Thai restaurants in U.S. For food, we ordered the following: 1. Khao Ka Moo: a stewed pork hock platter served with rice, pickled mustard greens, shitake mushrooms, sauce (similar to soy-sauce) and egg (which I opted out). It was my first time to have pork hock in a Thai restaurant. The meat was juicy and the skin was mouth-melting. Highly recommended. 2. JJ Tiger Cry: Basically grilled ribeye served with Thai style sides. The ribeye was cooked at ~medium well. I wish it could be a fattier cut and cooked for a shorter time, but my friend thought the temp. was perfect for her. It was served with a Thai sauce and cabbage+carrot slaw. 3. Green Curry Chicken: my sister's entree. The curry tasted refreshing and flavorful. It was also great that the dish came with both rice noodles and jasmine rice, so you can try both of them -- indeed, the rice noodles, after soaking it in the green curry, tasted heavenly! 4. Yum Hed. Grilled mushroom salad. There were shitake and king oyster mushroom. Served over a bed of fresh lettuce and a kind of spciy, sour sauce. Great as a side. 5. Guay Tiew Tom Tum Koong: Shrimp and rice noodles served in a generous bowl of Tom Yum Soup. It also had much veg. Unfortunately, I am allergic to some seafood so for safety I did not try this dish. Overall, the dishes are of medium sizes, but definitely enough for us. Service was friendly and quick. I may try more dishes the next time I visit Chicago.

Ordered through door dash for the drunken noodles and have ordered 3 times since already, lol…read more Amazingggg food, flavor, quality chicken, and spice. Best $12 ever spent. The crab Rangoons are AMAZING as well, which says a lot because I have tried at least 30 in the city. These are top 5. Lastly, beef chow fun was okay. The food was completely underwhelming, and when we shared our concerns with the staff, nothing was done to address them. The service was equally disappointing. Our server spent much of the time sitting on her phone while we waited for basic service like water refills, being asked about drinks, and receiving the drinks we ordered. We repeatedly had to get up and find someone just to receive attention. As for the food, the gyoza was bland and tasted like unseasoned pork. The lemongrass beef stew curry, which was highly recommended, arrived cold, had an odd texture, and lacked any real flavor. Most shocking of all were the drunken noodles. I've ordered them countless times over the years and always considered them among the best in Chicago. This time, I couldn't get past a single bite. Every dish was left unfinished. We didn't finish a single plate and didn't take any leftovers home--something that never happens for us. Between the poor service and incredibly disappointing food, this was an awful dining experience from start to finish. Unfortunately, after being a longtime customer, I won't be returning.

(Unfortunately, the sidewdalk is sloped, so the tables are sloped.) C and I order shumai, which in my experience, is served as an appetizer. Our order didn't arrive until after the main course was served. (Note to self: Next time order the main course after the appetizer has been served.) Cuisine: 4 stars - We ordered Basil Rice, to share. The flavor was different than what I have been served elsewhere. More sour than sweet. I think a better balance between sour and sweet would be better. Also, elsewhere, the rice and ground chicken are served tossed together. Here, the rice and chicken arrive on separate plates. It's difficult to mix sticky rice and chicken on a flat place. Nevertheless, the meal was completely acceptable; just a bit different. Service: 4 stars - The server was polite and friendly. Ambiance: 4 stars - We dined outside, but the interior looks nice. It's really nice to find a Thai restaurant with outdoor seating. What to know: It's BYOB (a plus) and does not accept card; only cash. For me, that's also a plus. Would I return? Yes.
