08/02/26 - We had a lunch @ Busaba Garden today to show appreciation to my brother in law for some work he did @ our house. Busaba is. Thai restaurant @ 3246 W Foster Ave. In addition my wife, his wife, daughter, adorable grandson & other brother in law were all there. Our sever B was awesome working by herself to cover our table of 6 along w/all the other tables in the restaurant. We were looking for good Thai food close to Swedish Covenant hospital and saw Busaba Garden on Yelp. We were not disappointed as the food was excellent. The pad thai was delicious- not sweet and the shrimp were cooked to perfection. The pineapple chicken ordered medium spice was also not sweet and the pad woon sen ordered medium spice was equally delicious. Nathan, our host and server was helpful and kind. Intimate space with limited seating. Service treats you like family. Not the most refined interior space; their focus is on flavor combinations. We noticed subtle and complex nuance in pairing distinct, complementary, yet recognizable flavors. This with that. Imported ingredients from Thailand. BYOB. We tried one app, two entrees and a dessert of flaming fried ice cream to cool down from the spice. Flaming fried ice cream? They clearly revel in the details of the creative process. Great for people who have to eat gluten-free since they have so many dishes that can be made gluten-free. The food is excellent, the service is excellent and the small storefront restaurant feels homey. I'm jealous of you because your home is close to this restaurant. Normally, I have to travel far to enjoy authentic Thai flavors like these. Especially dishes like Pad Thai, Thai papaya salad, Tom Yum soup, and Tom Saap. My absolute favorite that I order every time is basil beef with a fried egg on top. I don't want you to miss out on this kind of food. And don't forget to order Thai tea--you'll immediately notice how perfectly the flavors complement the meal and how delicious everything is. This is a wonderful place. Very charming interior. Very authentic food. I had the tom kha soup and the catfish special. Both delicious! The wait staff was excellent and the chef came out to chat with me. So was so kind and obviously cares a great deal about the restaurant and the quality of the experience and food. So happy to have delicious Thai food in this area. Almost everything I have had has been delicious but the green curry has been my favorite.

This is such a clean, pleasant restaurant with attentive service and amazing Thai food, including a few special dishes you don't see on every menu. My dear friend, and I tried a new restaurant tonight in our neighborhood. It is a Thai restaurant called Busaba Gardens on 3246 W Foster just west of Kedzie. The food was not only beautiful, but amazingly delicious. I had Pad Thai that was so yummy. We tried their sticky rice and both of us were shocked at how wonderful it tasted in addition to its lovely presentation. The staff was Great! Helpful, welcoming and so pleasant This is definitely a place to come back to. If you're in the neighborhood, give it a try. You won't be disappointed. read more

The Pad Thai is yummy and flavorful, I wouldn't get the papaya salad. It didn't have much flavor. The portion sizes are kind of small.

It's a nice little neighborhood Thai restaurant. I noticed there were more Thai customers than non-Thai people. I think it could be a good spot for a date or meeting with a friend. The green curry was quite good and priced well. The medium spice level was perfect for me. If you're not used to spicy dishes, I'd definitely recommend a mild spice level. read more

I was happy to see a Thai restaurant open up near my work, so I decided to pick up some food after my shift. The moment I walked in I was surprised how nice the place looked. Small yet cozy. Next time I'm definitely looking forward to dining in. Anyways moving on, the staff was very welcoming and I had a brief conversation with Nathan. I ordered the catfish. There was about 4 ounces in the serving. It wasn't a good texture, or portion size. The spices were right. Also ordered the Thai wings. Nothing Thai about them .
