I've been here multiple times. My go to thai place in the area. Staff are super nice and if you eat in and end up carrying out left overs they will give you extra rice. My go to dish is red curry, medium spice. The noodles are great too. The stir fry's could use a little bit more vegetables. Prices and portion sizes are great. Awesome little Thai spot with a great menu/big selection. Service is quick and friendly. Large portions at a reasonable price. The soup actually comes in a bowl so is twice the size that you'd normally expect (at approximately $3.50 for a soup). The pad Thai is wonderful and ends up being 2 meals for me. It sits back from Colorado Blvd to the east on Mississippi. Years ago the location was a Mi Zuppa (for those of us that have been here 10 years plus). I'm so glad a good Thai restaurant took over this spot. SE Denver (or at least east of university and west of Havana) seems to lack in Thai restaurants in general. This is my go-to for Thai! I order here so much that the owner knows my order when I call in and remembers me when I come to pick up my food. very nice people but not very good thai food. we went hoping to find very tasteful pad thai (can tell a good thai place by their pad thai), but it was not good at all. We also got drunken noodles but it was super dry. Overall, there food sadly did not live up to our expectations. read more

Thai Pan is a pretty good family Thai Restraunt. They have excellent Pad See Ew and chicken satay and the woman there is really nice and welcoming. Some of their dishes aren't the most unique, but I don't have any major complaints. read more

Called 30 minutes after I ordered online to see what the status was and they said they don't deliver to our area so they were cancelling my order. 5 minutes later they randomly showed up and delivered the food, which was, incidentally incredibly good! Well, I was hoping for a better Thai restaurant. That's not to be found here at Taipan. The Tod Mun was good enough. But the green curry was one of the lamest I've had ever, and brought out too quickly before the appetizer was near finish. My main complaint is a lack of flavor in the sauce. There was no sign of fish sauce taste nor was there any basil. And they definitely were not using any Thai Lime leaves/ Magrood leaves in the preparation which typically add a delightful limey undertone. This green curry had none of that. It was just boring. The eggplant was barely cooked enough. The good news is they served brown rice which was plentiful and well prepared. The bad news is that they use placemats at the tables. I made a bit of a mess with the curry liquid on mine, and as I sat in the car writing this review I saw the waitress come out and give that mat a good wiping down but then just flip it over for the next customer to use. Gross! How many times are they flipping these mats over before cleaning them? read more

Couldn't deliver to my address, was too far. After apologizing and thinking they were another establishment, I hung up to call the other local Thai restaurant. She called me back to offer to drive out of her way on her way home for me. I was touched, but declined. A+++ customer service guys. I'll be in to actually dine soon! Tucked away in a strip mall this little place is an almost hidden gem. Very clean and the owner is ALWAYS there, very genuine and accommodating. They recently started serving sushi and they absolutely get it right. We shared some crab and avocado rolls and some spicy tuna rolls. The rice was sticky soft and fresh, the rolls were tight, stayed together and they were smattered with just the right amount of salmon roe. Very fresh, very delicious. Every time I go there I always get the cold calamari salad very spicy, I just can't get enough if that chewy goodness and I know of no other place that serves it, the dressing they serve it with (vinegar based with chili flakes) is simply outstanding. My partner always gets the Massaman curry and it never disappoints with it's slightly sweet earthy cinnamon goodness. It's always consistently good every time we go and that's about twice a week. My gripe with many Asian establishment is that they serve soda warm by the individual can with no refills. This place has a soda machine with all the soda you want, I suck down 4 or 5 diet cokes while I'm there. They are good about clearing courses, taking away entree plates and overall table maintenance which is important to me, it's shows service. Finally if your food isn't spicy enough send it back! They would rather have you leave happy and come back than to complain on here, give any business the opportunity to correct your dish to your liking. Thai hot is extremely hot and I think they factor that in when serving a spicy dish, it can be overwhelming mouth burning. The portions are pretty large but I would rather have a smaller portion with better quality. The only item that was good was the crab rangoon. The place itself is cute and the service was decent. I had to order using Grubhub because they don't deliver - though it was indicated that they do. Had to pay another $3 for grub hub. I ordered the Chicken Satay for my 7-year-old. The chicken was bright yellow - which most 7-year-olds won't eat. Mine wouldn't. Why can't it just look like chicken? I also ordered the Tom Kha soup. Usually a favorite - this was 24 oz of coconut milk with 2 pieces of chicken and 2 mushrooms. FAIL. Yuck. Down the disposal that went. Then finally I had the chicken panang. Another FAIL. WAAAYYY too much coconut milk in this and not enough flavor. I will not be back. read more

We went to Thai Pan after reading the good reviews here on Yelp. Is a little on the cozy side. Best to get to-go if you have a large group. We had the red curry with chicken and the pad thai with beef. Before that, we tried the pot stickers. They were fresh and delicious! The entries were both about as good as it gets. The portions are large and they are very accommodating, offering us extra rice for the curry if needed as we were packaging our leftovers. I read one review saying that they were going to probably get around three meals out of the pad thai. I agree. They got the spices just right. The waitress was very friendly and we enjoyed the times we saw her. Fortunately, this isn't the type of place where the wait staff all hover over you and annoy the bejeezus out of you. Highly recommend. Wasn't busy for a Friday, but the food is good enough that it should have been. read more

We ordered food from this place and had it delivered to the hotel. We called. One hour after to get a status. They said the delivery service was late picking up the food. When the food got there 20 minutes later, I asked the delivery person why did int take so long, was told he picked up order and delivered as solo as they got the call. The food was cold, one order was incorrect. The delivery company who is third party called and asked if everything were okay because his driver told him I had called about the order. He apologized and said he would credit the delivery fee . Another thing, the folks at Thai Pan speak poor English. Will never order for them again. Called back and no answer. read more

I usually go with the Pad Thai when trying a new Thai place. I had it here, got it medium, just to be safe. Medium was very mild. Overall the Pad Thai was ok but nothing I would go out of my way for. This is a great little business that serves amazing food and gives friendly prompt service, also the price isn't bad. I ordered shrimp pad thai and my husband got the pork massaman curry, we also ordered dumplings to split. It was delicious and fresh, we were eating off each other's plates.
