This is a seat yourself dining experience with simple tasteful decor. The server approached us iimmediately and took our drink order and when she returned, she immediately took our lunch order. It was a cold blustery day so I wanted Pho and I asked for a recommendation, whether beef or chicken she recommended the beef. My partner had Kung Pao. They do both traditional Thai and Chinese at this location. Our food was served very quickly. I tasted my broth and immediately could taste the rich flavors of an all day long broth that had been cooking. It was fabulous! It was served with bean sprouts, and Thai basil in the soup was green scallions any large helping of the heavier noodles, which were deliciously chewy. I got to sample the Kung Pao. The chicken was tender and flavorful, and the vegetables were cooked. Just right. The sauce was a thinner sauce, but was loaded with flavor lots of peanuts in this one.! you had a choice of steamed rice or fried rice with this menu item. The steamed rice came out in a large bowl and it was great to put into the sauce afterwards there was a lot of extra sauce.. The restaurant had a lot of to go orders being picked up while we were there so it did a lot of lunch business to go. But there was one other group dining. There is a TV in one part of the dining area and there was contemporary music which was not too loud and actually very nice to enjoy the meal with. Unfortunately, we ordered food from them as a stopover for a long drive. We ordered through door dash (never done that before). They didn't include any paper plates or cutlery, which is weird, knowing that we were at a hotel and there was no place to put that in the order. We ordered Pad Thai with seafood and that was questionable. There were a couple of shrimp but these other things that were in there looked like crab wannabes and they were actually bread, noodles, or something else you couldn't recognize but totally mushy. Definitely no seafood. Then, the wonton soup's wontons were totally underdone...just some blobs of dough and pretty disgusting. Also, no sauces for the egg rolls (did get a couple of sweet & sours, but no hot mustard) The icing on the cake was that the DoorDash delivery person left it at the wrong hotel right next to ours but my husband had to walk 1/2 mile around all of the barriers to try to find the same room number at a different hotel. I tried to call her over and over again at the number they provided but it wouldn't go through. I will never do this again! read more

We ordered the family appetizer, kids beef and broccoli, sesame chicken which requested to be extra spicy and chicken, jalapeño fried rice. Everything was hot, delicious and we received our order very fast. Can't say enough how much of a fan I am. The owner and family are so sweet too. Give them a try. read more

I used to visit this place every once in a while. A little out of my way, but decent prices on food and rolls. Kind of a whole in the wall. I stopped going there because my family and I went there, and my father made it very clear he was allergic to a certain ingredient. They assured us that the dish didn't include that product. Next thing you know, he is having a reaction. They come back and say 'oh, sorry, one if the items we import has that ingredient in it.' So you assure us that the dish is safe but don't check all the things you put in the dish? They kind of just shrugged and walked off. No comp on his meal or discount or anything. He couldn't even eat the rest so what's the use to us? We were lucky his reaction wasn't more severe. I love Thai Palace. As mentioned, they do have some of the best Tom Yum Noodle Soup in town but they also have wonderful other dishes. The Pho is excellent! I am a sesame chicken girl. However, I'm working on the waistline and I went in looking for a dish that was full of yum but not the calories and fat. Friend said, "try the grilled chicken", so I did and asked the waitress to add some broccoli. The dish came loaded with lots of bell peppers, onions, and the broccoli, and enough grilled chicken for 2 meals with a light sauce, and it was incredible! Can't wait to go back for more. read more

This used to be our go to place, in the last few months we've only ordered from there three times and every time the order has been wrong and the food just not good. We decided to give them another chance tonight, I ordered Mongolian Chicken...now Mongolian chicken is supposed to have jalapenos and zucchini in it according to their menu....get it home, it's about a cupful of a serving, NO jalapenos (these are important to me) and one chunk of zucchini. Needless to say, last chance for them. My husband went up there for them to correct the order and the OWNER argued with him stating it was correct, then slammed and counted out seven jalapeños onto the dish. My husband left disgusted. How dare you treat your customers and former loyal customers in such a way? He nicely asked for it to be fixed and the owner was extremely rude and argumentative. I used to LOVE Thai Palace - we would order the pho, summer rolls, and appetizer sampler nearly once a month. And, the people who work there are very friendly. But, over the last 6 months, it seems like the quality has declined. I recommended the restaurant to friends, and they said the cashews on their cashew chicken were rancid. Our last few orders of pho have gone downhill, and after the last order, my husband got food poisoning. So, needless to say, we are looking for a new pho joint in town. I hope they can work on their quality control...because they used to be awesome! read more
