This evening, we found three w/I a quarter mile (plus an Asian market). We chose Thai House. Good atmosphere. Bangkok said he'd love to take his wife here. I ordered Thai iced coffee, which they didn't have. They also did not have Thai iced tea. Not a good start. We ended up splitting ten wontons w sauce. Excellent. In fact, for me, the highlight of the dinner. B ordered chicken and broccoli. He enjoyed it. My Mongolian beef was ok, but very different from "that national Chinese chain". The fried rice was good, the beef was gray w little kick. The kick, however, was provided by large jalapeno pepper halves, some w seeds. Not sure when my jaw will recover, but am praying. As I also had jalapenos in an omelet at lunch, I have now consumed my yearly allotment of these precious little devils. BTW, prices VERY reasonable. Oh, and my fortune cookie: "Your dreams will come true in August." Am serious. As fans of the Brooklyn Dodgers used to say, "Wait til next year." 3.5 stars

The place was fairly busy, but did not feel that way with service. Service was fairly quick and checked in often. I opted for the two entrée lunch special with deep-fried sweet-and-sour pork and deep-fried lemon chicken. I felt like both were really good, but I honestly loved the fried rice with all the sauces. For only $10 it was a great meal with an eggroll on the side. I also opted to try their shrimp and their spring roll. The waitress told me the difference and both were honestly delicious. I wish they did a four pack that was half-and-half! I also got a Thai tea which was nice and sweet. Overall, for the value of this place, I would come back

The fish filets for the cat fish were clean treated, boneless and paired well with the peas prik king similar sauce, the Kra Pao Holy Basil Frog Legs was very similar to Two Chilli Szechuan Stir Fried Frog Legs, and were too also very good. And the Padsee Ew although I liked it, it was very different, served and presented like Pad Thai with stripped cabbage and bean sprouts and even a very thin layer of egg....never seen it served like this before. And lastly the sticky rice. Just get it. A great way to finish the meal. Having come out here without my rig this first time around, I believe next time I'm just going to drive my full rig into their dirt lot.
