Staff is kind, food is great! Glad to have found this place. Flavor is great and the pineapple friend rice is yummy!

Best Asian food I've ever had. Crab Rangoon was super crunchy and the filling very generous. The sweet and sour chicken comes in large, white meat planks. The quality is easy to see. Very reasonably priced! If you'll be traveling through Amarillo, save room for Thai Taste. read more

Placed order for us at 6pm. Was given a 620 pickup. Finally left 5 min ago after over an hour from the order was placed we finally got the food. No apology and no discount or refund for time wasted. Sad thing was there was another lady waiting who had a similar story. Waiting an hour as well! We won't be returning here ever again. read more

We were in the mood for some good Thai food and found this place in a shopping center on Hillside. The restaurant is small, but very beautiful. If you are not hungry, believe me, the smells in the air will get you there! We started with egg rolls and fried pork wontons, which came with a nice side salad. The egg rolls are perfectly crispy and the sweet & sour sauce that comes with it is not overly sweet! The wontons have a more delicate texture and are well complemented by a peanut sauce. I ordered the Tom Yum Kung soup with shrimp, and was pleasantly treated to a steaming bowl with mushrooms and coconut milk. It is spicy, but not uncomfortably so. If you love good Thai, you might find this place to your liking. The waitresses are friendly and very patient with those unfamiliar with Thai cuisine. read more

I eat here frequently and do takeout. The people are nice and my order is always on point. Sometimes my sauces are missing and the amount varies. read more

Been coming here for about two years now and Thai Taste has never let us down. The food is always good and the service is great. My go to is tofu pad Thai. Definitely recommend. read more

Great authentic taste. Good menu variety as well. Thai food cooked by Thai cooks. Thumbs up all the way.

Cashew chicken was weak in flavor, too much fish sauce added, portion was tiny for price. Although portion was small I didn't eat it all because the flavor was just gross. Fried rice had minimal ingredients and tasted like plain rice. The egg rolls were very small, greasy and burnt. 3 roll for $5 is a joke. Meal came to $25 and most went into trash. Don't eat at this place; it is not worth your money! read more

Lost my business due to poor phone etiquette. Rudely answered the phone and placed me on hold immediately. I held for 10 minutes, I decided to try calling back. She picked the phone up and hung up on me. Terrible customer service. read more

Always love going here for soup and egg rolls. My granddaughter and I had PHO / sesame chicken. She liked chicken the most. I loved the PHO. read more

I hate writing a less than stellar review but that's how I felt. I ordered 3 things to go, (sweet and sour chicken, beef broccoli, and crab wontons) an hour before they closed (8:00) but the person who took my phone order said they closed at 8:30 so I rushed over just to wait until 8:45 for my food, bc they close at 9:00. The 3 items cost $29, which would be fine if the servings were standard but they were served as half orders and the wontons were tiny. The most heartbreaking part was that the wantons had no crab in them they were just sweet/salty cream cheese wontons and were honestly gross (I only ate 2/10 which is not my normal M/O). Food was good, but they didn't create value with their services or size to warrant the price. read more

I was disappointed in this place. The egg rolls and steamed rice were good but the rest was subpar. You can tell a lot about a Thai place based on their hot sauce and theirs was completely watered down. More water than anything else. The fried rice was also over cooked. Next time I will drive the extra couple of blocks and go to Thai Menu. read more

Great local Thai spot near my home. Phad Thai is superb; Pineapple Fried Rice is perfectly spiced and comes on a fish shaped plate. Portions ++ read more

I didn't like it, took forever, the soy sauce is to go packages, got charged 4% for using my card, atmosphere was not welcoming, I will not return read more

The pineapple fried rice and garlic fried rice have become a staple in our house. The service can be a little slow when they get busy but the food is always pretty tasty. Highly recommend trying this place out. read more

This a place is ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!!. We ordered delivery and we were missing 3 of our 6 ordered items...THAT'S LITERALLY HALF OF WHAT WE ORDERED. What we did get was absolutely disgusting, the orange chicken isn't even orange chicken. It's tempura fried chicken with a cup on the side with orange concentrate or something. The fried rice is soggy and has no taste. The broccoli beef... The meat tasted like it had gone bad and they still used it... ALL IN ALL THIS PLACE SHOULD BE CALLED TRASH TASTE NOT THAI TASTE read more

I don't know if it's a new cook or a bad day, but my food was so spicy that I couldn't eat it. I might add that I love spicy food. I bought my regular dish, Beef Pad Kee Mao and the taste was noticeably different. I may have to scratch this restaurant off my favorite list. read more

It's strange reviewing things during a pandemic. I have never personally dined in here, but I have ordered delivery and pick-up. Here's my take: the delivery and pick-up is quick. The food is good. I've tried a few different things off their menu like pad Thai, beef jerky, soup, and a few other items. It's always been decent. My only qualm is getting through when you call them. They are either super busy, or maybe don't hear their phone ring. It was a process to place an order over the phone on a few occasions. Either no one answered or the line was busy. But, I get it. It was mid stay at home orders. I'm sure they were busy and understaffed like most restaurant in the area at the time. read more

We were a little hesitant to try Thai Taste out but I'm so glad we did! The service was excellent and the food was delicious. Although there were plenty of other people seated, it was nice and quiet-a great place to have a yummy meal complete with conversation you can actually hear! read more

We had a 4.5 star experience, but found out that they wouldn't accept our restaurant.com giftcard. That was super disappointing because we ordered more food than usual to use the giftcard. They should take their restaurant off the site because we left super bummed. The food and service was way better than expected. Them not accepting my certificate did leave a bad taste in my mouth though. read more

Small place but food is always consistent and good. Wait staff are always pleasant.

Authentic Thai tasting food. Love it. Just like mom used to make. Yummy for my tummy. Very fast and friendly staff.

Thai taste has the best service and the food is Awesome! Omg! Flavor town! I love the fried rice combination. It comes w cilantro, lime and avocado! Dang! It's just so good, that's all I can say! Get it in your life! 100% A+ read more

It's okay. We ordered carry out ready in 15 minutes should have been a clue. Chicken was over done. Old tasting food. Very disappointing. Not wasting my money there anymore. Thought I would give them another try. I would suggest just drive to My Thai. Eat at Thai taste if there's a blizzard and no other place to eat. read more

I was recommended Thai Taste by a friend who lived in Amarillo, had traveled to Thailand, and said Thai Taste was their favorite Thai restaurant in Amarillo. I definitely enjoyed my meal here. I got the Noy special, and my dish had that signature spicy/sweet combination makes Thai food so famous. Service was on point. It's a small restaurant but the interior is surprisingly new and clean. read more

My husband and I have always gone to Thai Taste and had many wonderful meals. The last time we are there it was horrible. We wanted to try something different and so I ordered the chicken choy mein. Before I even took a bite I knew it was bad. The smell of rancid cooking oil was strong. The noodles were over cooked and I had just a few big squares of cabbage mixed in. We had both had egg drop soup and chips as a first course. The soup was good so you can imagine our surprise when our meals were brought out. My husband had ordered a shrimp dish with steamed rice. His was also bad. I say bad but had it not been for the rancid oil this review might have been very different. Needless to say we will not be going back to Thai Taste in the near future. I hate that because everyone that works there is very friendly. read more

The menu looks good, based on what I found online, but I didn't find out about the quality of the food because I left due to poor service and the attitude of the server. After waiting for 15 minutes for her ro do as much as bring me a menu, nevermind take my order, while others were being served, I was finally able to make eye contact and get her to come to the table. When she finally did she acted as if the situation was my fault and told me that I should have come to her because there were people waiting on to go orders and it looked like I was one of them?! For the record, I was sitting at a table in the middle of the dining area, not standing over by the counter, and the man at the front by the entrance - the one greeting people as they came in (who also never bothered to have her come to my table) had told me to have a seat anywhere. I got up to leave because of the server's attitude and she snatched back the menu that she had placed on the table, walking off put out since she evidently had more important things to do. I see that there are other negative reviews concerning this place's service, and based on my experience just now I can definitely see why. read more

Pretty good for Amarillo Thai food. Sweet and sour sauce not my fav but everything else I've had is pretty on point

This was our first time ordering from here. I won't do it again. The food was cold, the Satay was dry and had no taste, and the summer roll had a chemical taste to it. I expected better considering we ordered $70.00 worth of food. I would not reccomend this place to anyone. read more

For years, the service and food of Thai Taste have been subpar. From consistently wrong to-go orders, to poorly cooked boba, and most recently (on two occasions) rotten avocado in their Thai Wrap. I've kindly made suggestions and given feedback, but no changes have been seen. I don't know why I keep giving them chances! Sure, they get the orders right some days and you might get lucky with your avocados (but not the boba, it always is terrible), but my years of experience of giving to this restaurant a chance and them failing at quality and service are what has stopped me from coming here. If you're a gambler or super hungry, I say go for it! Otherwise, there are better Thai places in town which provide a better experience on all fronts. read more

I've been to a few Thai restaurants around town and this has to be one of my favorites. The food comes out quick with good service. I ordered pad kee Mao extra spicy. The noodles were cooked perfectly and the dish was packed with flavor and spice. My mouth was watering by the time I could dig in. I went with some friends and they enjoyed their dishes as well. Pad Thai, panang curry. Will definitely be back. Chicken wings are a bit salty though. They deliver and have take out as well. read more

I really love their food! It's cheap and it's really fast. The servers are a little bit hard to understand over the phone but that's understandable. It's a great place to have a quick lunch, every time my friend comes to visit we always go here at least once. The food comes out really hot and fresh, and they have a decent variety on their menu. I would recommend the Charlie special on white rice if you get the chance! read more

We have had food from here a couple times and the food was pretty good. This last experience was very different. I called in the order and the bad experience happened when I picked it up. I noticed they had shoved most of our large order in one bag and even turned some sideways and I thought maybe the turned one was just the egg rolls. The other bag had just one container in it. I took the food out to my car and noticed both bags were leaking. I took the bags back inside and the lady was very rude and acted like it was my fault the bags had pools of liquid in them. After waiting 10 mins just so they could put the food in the new containers another rude girl came and gave us our food and said "try not to spill it this time" like it was our fault again. Good food does not make up for rude service. Will not be back. read more

We eat at Thai Taste fairly frequently & when it is good, it's good! When it's bad, it's terrible. We ordered 3 of the same entree for a takeout order & when we got it home, it was awful. The sauce was watery & did not taste right. I called the restaurant to let them know & the person that answered the phone was completely rude & said "I don't know what's wrong with the kitchen tonight, they've been messing everything up" I was not offered an apology or anything else. We will be taking this off of our list of favorite takeout spots. Proceed with caution. read more

Dumplings were rancid. The Jalapeño fried rice was ok, albeit greasy. The Seafood Heart Attack was bad to the eye and worse to the palate. I will never, ever, eat here again. read more

We stopped here on our way to a ski trip in Colorado. Not knowing the area we checked Yelp. There was not a lot of information on Thai restaurants so we picked the closest. Boy did we luck out! The food is fantastic here. We had Satay and the Charlie special. Give it a try. read more

HORRIBLE customer service. I live nearby and order at least $18 in food from these people once a week. Today they screwed up my order. Realizing this after I got home, I called and asked for a credit toward my next order and their answer was a flat out "no". I understand that accidents/omissions happen- but be a reputable business and make it right. This location is very convenient and the food itself is fine, but I wouldn't dare give them another penny after such crappy customer service. read more

It's ok, had the pineapple fried rice with chicken-way too salty, couldn't eat it and threw it away, pad Thai with vegetable- good, and crab cream cheese- crispy but very greasy. If I am in a pinch I'll eat here again but I probably won't dine here again. Nice ambiance and friendly staff though. read more
