Tom Yum with seafood, listed in the Specialty section as Seafood Hot Pot but was really not.
    Arada H.

Passing by and decided to try out this small mom & pop shop around 8 pm on Friday for dine in dinner. The restaurant closes at 9 pm. We were the only ones in the restaurant, and no take out orders were picked up while we dined, so our food was cooked & brought out in good time. Appetizer was Tod Mun -- was ok, better than what I got at Thai Asian cuisine. I forgot to take pictures of that and my entree, Stir fried Cashew (added chicken), which was such a small serving and not worth the price. Chicken was dry and the brown sauce was on the sweet end. I asked for spice level 1 and got no spice (better than being too spicy and not edible). However they do not offer a spice tray or even hot sauce for the table. Husband ordered Tom Yum with seafood (they label as Seafood Hot Pot but it is not brought out to cook in a hot pot), spice level 3. That was just a tad bit spicy -- even I could have eaten that with no issue. The Nepalese student who took our order said she usually gets level 5. It's also a very small serving for the price. Broth could have used more lemongrass and/or kaffir lime leaves. Glad we tried out this place I've heard about, but we will not likely return.

Spring rolls and miso soup (veg)

Definitely a place you would go by and not think much of... but let me tell you the food here slaps! It is so good and filling. I was quite hungry but this hit the spot. I started my meal with the spring rolls and miso soup. The spring rolls were crunchy and crispy and HOT! They came out so fresh and the miso soup simply warmed my heart! I had such a great experience with my apps I was super excited to try my red curry with tofu. I got a medium spice which was perfect, the curry came out warm spicy and delicious. I ate it all in one sitting, it was perfect for a cold winter day. The restaurant was mainly take out orders exclusively so it was nice to be the only table being served. I will be going again very soon!

Today, I orderded the Larb Chicken level 5 spice and Thai iced coffee. I love this place because it's a relaxed atmosphere with a family vibe. I've also had the drunken noodles here and strawberry drink. Everything I've tried here I've really enjoyed. I would recommend trying this place. The service is quick and friendly.

was having a bad day so my parents doordashed me food from here (ty mom and dad) and it really improved my food. quantity was on point, flavors were on point. pad thai was some of the best i've had in stl once i added some spice to it, and i loved the carrots and potatoes in the curry. comfort food at its finest

Tom yum soup. Handful of mushrooms and TWO shrimp. Sad. $8

Ordered online. 4 crab Rangoon and Tom yum soup with shrimp. I got there on time and the order wasn't ready. Had to wait 8 minutes, watched her drop the Rangoon in. (Frozen) Got the soup, $7 for TWO shrimp, a few mushrooms and broth. I called to confirm I got the right thing and the person who gave me the order was even more dismissive. Won't be back, won't recommend. $15 down the drain

The food is fantastic, but they seemed to have changed their take-out boxes cause the portions were tiny. Sorry for the photo quality, but the kids ate everything before I could snap a photo. I got a little mixed up and thought I was ordering from Pad Thai STL so I had asked for Shrimp in a Blanket. They don't carry it there so my bad.. but instead of correcting, the hostess said okay. When we got everything we got something labeled SFR thinking for Shrimp fried rice, but there no shrimp. Also very little rice for the honey duck or basil lamb to share. Thinking this was a fluke cause they are usually on it. I did call the hostess she did apologize for the confusion. Overall the food was stlll okay but thinking we will eat there next time instead of taking out.

    Pad Thai with chicken

This is our go to Thai place. We pass several others to get here from our home but it has become a couple times a month visit. My husband loves ALL the curry dishes and I flip between the Orange chicken and the drunken noodles. Probably some of the best crab Rangoon we have ever had. It is not the cheapest Thai but by far the best. Watch the spice level - they don't mess around. I'm a 4 but my husband is a 3.

Enjoying my plate of Pad Thai!

One thing I can appreciate is a good Pad Thai, but one thing I don't like is one that has too much fish sauce. (Just my personal preference). I usually ask them to omit it or use a substitute. There wasn't an issue here with the fish sauce, and I was able to enjoy the dish and enjoy the flavors of the chicken and peanuts! The portions were great, the food was fresh and the go to staple item was great and I would be back for this in the future. The dining room is small but inviting and clean. The staff is polite and the food came out fast!

A terrific little restaurant hidden less than two miles away from the chain pablum. Hot, flavorful, made to order. We became instant repeat customers and have not been disappointed with anything on the menu. Very nice staff and wonderful chefs. If you are reading this... GO!

Food and service was good! Call to place your order though because the prices for ordering online are significantly higher.

I usually always get take out although I've dined in a couple of times and have always received the best service. The menu is straightforward and has a variety of the staples - from curries, noodles, rice dishes and more. You're allowed to pick from a variety of spice levels which is nice! The street is sorta busy so I usually park near the McDonalds for pickup as it takes only 10-15 minutes for the order to be ready. Highly recommend! Food: 9/10 Price: 10/10 Service: 10/10

I get that this is a Thai restaurant, not Chinese (though it's more Chinese than I am), but Meyou might consider such a policy. I would have benefited from it yesterday. I visited on a Wednesday evening with members of a running group. There were umpteen of us. If we'd been given a single egg roll appetizer, we would have been forced to cut it in tiny pieces and share. I would have been willing to do that, because I'm a confirmed, avowed savage. My reputation precedes me. Arguably, they should give you one free appetizer for every six members of your party. But I digress. Now, where was I? Ah yes, Meyou. I'd describe this place as a somewhat Americanized version of Thai food, based on what little I know from having recently visited Bangkok and eaten in roughly 40 or 50 restaurants, food stalls and what have you over the course of a few days, i.e. not a whole lot. You can get pad thai and various other soups, noodles and curries, along with fried rice, egg rolls, crab rangoon and chicken wings. It's got a little something for everyone. Do they charge you $0.25 for extra soy sauce? Can you call up and try to harangue them into giving you a free order of crab rangoon by claiming that they shorted you the last time you were there, knowing good and well they can count better than you? I'm not sure. I might try that on my next visit and report back. This time, I went with something called Pad See Ew, which wasn't nearly as gross as its name suggests. In fact, it was good. Its description on the menu, with broccoli, eggs and soy sauce, called to mind various things I might order from a Chinese takeout--which is what I tend to look for in a menu item. As a noodle dish, I figured the overall flavor profile might not be different from a lo mein lunch special I used to get decades ago, that I still fondly reminisce about on a weekly basis. I wasn't that far off from the mark. They let you choose the spice level, ranging from mild to hot. I usually get hot in most places, but I'm hesitant to do that at Asian restaurants, because they might have access to peppers that are technically considered research chemicals, like Temu Ozempic, and therefore not subject to FDA approval. There were a few girls there, and I didn't want to run the risk of my throat starting to close up. I'd have to find a new run group. Medium turned out to be just right for me, but maybe too spicy if you're expecting something along the lines of a buffalo wing. Even the mild, apparently, has a bit of a kick to it. The noodles were nice and slippery and cooked a touch beyond al dente, right in that Goldilocks zone between undercooked and mush. The heat, and the complexity provided by whatever they use to season this, helped offset the underlying sweetness. You get your choice of meat. No Diddy. I went with pork, natch, with apologies to the Honorable Minister. The amount they give you is surprisingly generous, except that this dish will run you. I'm talking modern-day Chipotle prices. Maybe a dollar or two more. Yikes! But I'd argue that the quality justifies it. If I lived nearby, and I had the means, I'd stop by on occasion.

She said her favorite dish was khao soi which I ordered and really enjoyed. I have been craving it ever since. My friend ordered Khao pad and she loved it. I don't have any qualms with tipping, but I don't think it's fair to have it automatic, especially since the food is already on the pricey side. The interior is very calm and moody. The candles on the table are a nice touch. The service was okay, but for the size of the restaurant it felt a little weird. I usually try to get something that can easily be compared to other restaurants and determined if I will come back. I opted for the pad Thai. While not the worst pad Thai I've had, it was one of the more expensive. My noodles were dry and clumpy. It was hard to eat and required water. There was an unremarkable amount of chicken for the price. The flavor was also quite underwhelming. The quantity was also questionable. Overall, I probably wouldn't come back here. It was convenient because we were going to the Pageant, but other than that it was subpar.
