I tried this place for the first time the other day and was pleasantly surprised. We had the yellow curry and the mango curry with pineapple in it. I wasn't sure what to expect with the mango curry as I had never tried something like that before, but both dishes were absolutely excellent! We were greeted promptly at the door and the server was friendly and attentive. We ordered eggrolls for an appetizer which were very good and served piping hot. Our food came out very soon after and the portion sizes were generous as well. I still had enough to take home and have leftovers - which were also very good even with being reheated (because let's be honest, sometimes leftovers are just not that great. But these really were!). This just might be my new favorite Thai place. I will definitely be back! read more

Top 5 favorite restaurants for my wife and I to come to! We come regularly and are always so happy with the food. My favorite are the yellow curry and the udon drunken noodles. I love Thai Mango. I would go all the time when it was in Provo. Now I take any opportunity I get to drive to Sandy to eat there. When my wife and I go, we get the pad thai, massaman curry, and spring roles (with both sweet and sour and peanut sauce). We never finish all the food, but it is good! Customer service is good too. Wow! I found my favorite Thai place in The salt lake area! The service was prompt but most importantly, the food was fabulous. The garlic delight was unique: light, fresh and savory with a hint of sweet. The Masuman Curry rich, creamy and very flavorful. We moved from the Bay Area 8 years ago where we had a lot of great Thai options, it's nice to find one that reminds us of home. Great prices as well! read more

Seriously, this place is great. Do not let the empty seating fool you. Every time we go we pick something different and we say it's our new favorite. We had the masseman curry, green curry, and mango curry. All three were good. My son and I thought the masseman was the best of the three then the green curry followed by the mango curry. My wife liked the mango curry the best. The spring rolls are large and really good. read more

I can't think of any reason to give Thai Mango anything less than a full 5 stars! The food: I have tried almost every item on the lunch menu and, while I have my favorites, I haven't had anything that wasn't great. I love a restaurant where I can get something different every time I go (which seems to be at least twice per week now), and enjoy it every time. The price/quantity: I normally order from the lunch menu, and you cannot beat the price of the lunch special, especially for the amount and quality of the food. I am a big eater, and I have never left hungry. The Service: Couldn't be better. Dawn made a great first impression on my first visit a couple months ago, by giving great recommendations and explaining the menu very patiently. From that visit on, she remembers me (and the rest of the people that now go with me), what we order, what we like, how spicy, etc. Bottom line: It is something you must try! read more

I love this place. I've had the yellow and red curries, and they are outstanding. I also had the Pho, and I think it may be my favorite-the broth is so flavorful. The potstickers are awesome too. Great food! Nice service. A little disappointed with the spice :( we've been to Thailand and appreciate the spice in authentic Thai food, so when we asked for spicy, and it was brought to us with little to no spice we were sad. We will return, but now we know better and will definitely push the spice factor! They do not have a liquor license which is a little weird. So we might get take out next time, too. Now that I think about it, our fellow diners were kind of strange, super white bread if you know what I mean. read more

Mediocre, at best. I've eaten a lot of Thai food, from Seattle to Bangkok, and was very disappointed in this restaurant. I came with 2 others, who had similar opinions. I ordered cashew chicken, and what I got was a plate of chicken, with some cashews and over-cooked zucchini. No other vegetables! Suffice it to say that none of us will be back. I had a very disappointing experience today at this restaurant. I placed an order over the phone and after picking it up and getting back home, we realized we had gotten the wrong order. Drove back to the restaurant and told them that I had the wrong order. The manager very disrespectfully argued with me saying that she had understood something different over the phone. Instead of offering to fix the problem and getting me the right order she kept arguing that she was right and that I was wrong. Horrible customer service. Pretty good pad thai. I've had better and I've had worse. I've stopped by a couple times at around 11:30, 30 minutes after they were supposed to be open, and they still hadn't opened. This was our first visit here. We had the spring rolls, coconut soup, green curry and pinapple fried rice. Everything was excellent. It was way above the average Thai we have have in SLC. Our favorite was the simple pinapple fried rice that reminded us of the stuff we would get in Southern Asia.....mmmm. Close second was the green curry which wasnt too thick and was just sweet and savory enough for me. We'll be back for sure. read more

The reviews are misleading here. By the numbers this is the top rated Thai restaurant on the Wasatch front. Spring rolls were loaded with bagged salad - literally. Pineapple curry was really wrong - gravy thick, canned pineapple (confirmed), and tasted like a cup of sugar had been added.
