    Salmon poke

Loved this place! I look forward to returning and trying the rest of the menu. Their spicy salmon poke bowl was great: refreshing, with large slices of salmon, lots of salad and rice, and many well seasoned ingredients which worked well together. Will add to this once I've eaten more.

I've driven past this little restaurant many times but has never stopped. My sister is with me and she said it's really good. She right. The service was fast and they were very nice. The lobster Ragoons were amazing. They were piping hot and the cream cheese was perfectly melted around the lobster. I had a chicken taco and a beef taco. I liked the beef one better. It had loads of flavor. The chicken one was good but it wasn't special. It's a really easy to overlook restaurant. The name didn't tell me what kind of food they had. It's kinda a mixture of Thai and Mexican and American. It was all good.

The pad Thai burrito, the chicken curry quesadilla, and the crab Rangoon were fabulous. If you haven't checked this place out while you're in Stillwater, then you're absolutely missing out. The service is decent, the ambiance is okay, but the food for the price is TOP NOTCH. Love Thai Loco. I eat it every time I'm in town.

This place is really good! And not at all what we expected. I was thinking it would be normal Thai food but it is really Asian fusion. A combo of Thai, Indian, Mexican food. My husband got the poke bowl-raw salmon, and impressed. I got 2 tacos-the chicken with peanut sauce and a Thai chicken with rice. Loved that I had the option of corn tortillas. Very flavorful. The atmosphere was clean and modern. They had lots of customers. The people that worked there were very friendly and helpful. They have a real Thai cook! They were super accommodating and they would have made us something special order if we wanted. The only thing I wish they had was real brewed tea, but other than that, we were very happy and would come back!

We just moved to Stillwater and have been trying a lot of the local spots. I will definitely be a regular customer here! Their coconut shrimp bowls are so good! My husband ordered a variety of tacos they have w/ a request of flour tortilla instead of corn and all of his tacos were delicious! The girls loved the chicken tenders and cheese quesadillas. It was a win win for the whole family! Love that we have a go to spot for the whole family! They also have a drive-thru and you can order ahead for pick-up if you're on the go!

Thai Loco is a very unique experience, this restaurant infuses tacos with Thai flavors. Each taco was very unique and had a lot of flavor. I highly recommend the medium and hot salsas, both add significant flavor to the tacos. The hot salsa sauce is noteworthy, it has a good amount of heat but also a tremendous amount of flavor. This is a good place to try if you want a unique taco experience.

Best crab Rangoon EVER! Also the tacos I got were fantastic! Drive through, sit down, patio! Quick service as well! We will be back!

Crispy Chicken Taco and Asian BBQ Chicken Taco
    Julian J.

I think this place deserves a second visit from me... The clerk was friendly, and he told me that most people order a couple of tacos from the taco menu. I ordered the top tacos from the corn tortilla menu and the flour tortilla menu. Respectively, the crispy chicken taco and the Asian BBQ taco. The crispy chicken taco was disappointing because the chicken was like frozen, baked, breaded chicken strips. It was supposed to come with peanut sauce (which is what I was most excited about, since I love peanut sauce) but the sauce was at the very bottom of the tortilla. It didn't help moisten the chicken, and I didn't perceive it as sauce because the only evidence was a few chopped peanuts. At least I had some salsa with it. The Asian BBQ taco was better. It was white rice, plenty of tender BBQ chicken, and chopped green onion in a flour tortilla. The chicken was sweet and flavorful. The green onion was a crisp contrast. The amount of rice seemed to be a little much, but add salsa and it's fine. As I said in the beginning, I need to come back and order something different from the menu. Lots of people like this place, and perhaps there is a good reason.

Restaurant has a cool vibe inside and outside. Although the restaurant has Thai in the name don't expect your normal Thai food. It's definitely Thai fusion so they have some staple Thai dishes in taco form, as quesadillas and burritos. They also some sushi burritos which I decided to try. I ordered the loco crunch burrito which had shrimp tempura, crab salad, and slaw. Tempura was light but still crunchy, shrimp not over cooked and had a good amount of crab. The slaw wasn't too tasty but it was still good. I definitely come back to try other dishes.

The restaurant is clean and the staff are wonderful and friendly. I ordered egg drop soup, 1 egg roll, Jasmine tea, and Cashew chicken. There was something seriously wrong with the soup. It was NOT good and the crispy noodles were very bitter. Like they haven't changed their oil in a month. Gross I spoke with possibly the owner and he said he doesn't eat the soup. He didn't sound like he was going to taste it to check. The egg roll was absolutely delicious! I could have eaten 4 of them. My entree was generic and salty. Most of the menu has the same brown sauce, so don't expect the dishes to have much difference in flavor profile. All in all, my review is generous at best.

Delicious! The food here isn't greasy at all. You can choose your preferred spice level when ordering, and the ingredients are fresh. The dishes are served on trays reminiscent of those used in traditional Chinese tea ceremonies. The side of rice is cooked on the firmer side, but once you mix it with the sauce, the texture becomes perfect. The prices are student‑friendly, and the portions are just right. I can't believe such a great restaurant is located right next to the OSU campus. It's been a week since I ate there, and I'm already itching to go back. I think the restaurant could be even nicer if the interior were updated with a slightly more modern touch.

I know that Kung Pao Chicken is the go-to safe bet on the menu, kind of like the chef's choice of Chinese food. But man, this one just didn't land. I asked for a 4 out of 5 on spice, I wanted something with some heat, but not like a dare. What I got had all the firepower of a bell pepper. Maybe someone from rural Wisconsin might've found it adventurous, but for anyone who's had the real thing, this was at the same level of bbq sauce. One of the things I genuinely enjoy about going to Chinese restaurants is keeping up my Mandarin, having a quick chat with the staff, maybe hearing a few regional accents. No dice here. The guy up front was a white dude with no idea what zhōngguó cài even is, and the kitchen staff were speaking Spanish the whole time. Which, fine, but maybe don't brand yourself like you're bringing authentic Sichuan to town when the closest you get is a laminated picture of a dragon and some questionable chicken. Food was edible. Service was fine. Place was quiet. But the whole thing felt like the ghost of a Panda Express trying to pass as something more serious. I might give it one more shot in the future just to be fair, but for now, this was a miss.

This was our second visit to Nagoya restaurant. I wanted to try it again to give it a second chance…read moreas the first visit was so-so. The restaurant is ok. It's clean, and the lighting is ok as well. Nothing to call home about. Although the booths need some work. But they're not terrible. They have lanterns hung up around the restaurant ceiling. One thing that immediately stood out to us when we got there (this is a Japanese restaurant plus a hibachi or teppanyaki style restaurant as well) is that when we got sat on the restaurant side is the number of menus we got. I don't know if they didn't have enough or what the deal was but we were a party of 4, but only got 2 menus. So we had to share menus. The server came over pretty much right away to see what we'd like to drink and if we'd like to order any appetizers. We also ordered 1 order of tuna roll as an appetizer. As it's a bit expensive which is pretty on par when it comes to sushi. Especially in a landlocked area like OK. So that wasn't a big deal. My kids and husband said it was pretty good but the sushi looked a bit skinny in my opinion but they were ok with it. This visit I order pork katsu, my 2 kids ordered chicken katsu and my husband order the combo of tempura and teriyaki steak (steak was supposed to be cooked to medium rare, it was cooked to very welllll done!) also my husband asked for no teriyaki sauce as he said it was way too sweet and overwhelming when he ordered it the first time. The pork katsu was ok but a bit dry. All of the dishes came with the following: rice, miso soup, a side salad with a ginger dressing (which was strangely neon orange, and the "garnish" was a maraschino cherry(?)). Also you get a bowl of the katsu dipping sauce as well. The miso was good the salad but the salad dressing was super sweet (along with the oddly neon orange color) and had no ginger flavor. The chicken katsu was good as well. The kids said it was what it was. Again with a maraschino cherry as a garnish. Which again is odd. LOL but it's fine. Not the expected garnish for platters. Usually it's shredded cabbage. But hey if it works for them that's fine. My husband ordered the combination tempura and teriyaki steak with no teriyaki sauce. (My husband said that the last time the sauce was way too overwhelming and sweet). The server asked how he wanted the steak to be cooked, which was medium rare. The steak wasn't medium rare, it was actually very well done. It wasn't seared from what I could see, it looked almost like it was steamed. And the tempura was 2 pieces of shrimp, sweet potato, onion, you also get 2 pieces of shumai or shrimp dumplings and 4 pieces of California roll sushi. My husband said there was a bit too much mayo. He said also the meal was ok. Nothing to call home about. We got our food pretty quick. Which was great. Unfortunately when the food was delivered to us there was a fork stabbed into each and every bowl of rice! In my culture that's bad luck. It was quite shocking to see but I know that's not something that the restaurant would know per se. Maybe I'm just being overly sensitive. But I guess per the server the owners are Chinese. I don't know if the Chinese culture has the same thing but as a Japanese American I was always taught don't stick a fork, knife or even chopsticks into a bowl of rice upright. That is bad luck. So it really bugged me. LOL The biggest thing that I had an issue with was when we left was when we left. We asked for the check which we got pretty quickly. And we gave the server the our card, he scanned it and brought it back for signing. He then came back and said uh actually I gave you the wrong ticket. So this is the right one and I'm going to have to charge you the difference. So he gave us the wrong one? Then we paid for someone else's tab and then in order to fix it - he had to go to his manager to fix it by charging us the difference. It wasn't a huge difference. But still one would think that he would be organized enough to pay attention to ensure that the correct tickets are going to the right tables. SMH FYI I definitely knew the place was run by Chinese ppl because at the counter in the front had fortune cookies. Yeah not Japanese LOL So overall not sure if we will go back after that experience. Especially after the ticket mix up. SMH And no apology.
