When you visit a small town like Minturn it's hard to expect top shelf Thai food tucked away in the Rocky Mountains, but it does exist. They really nailed it with the food here. The Beef Thai Ginger was the perfect size and cooked to perfection. The Pad Thai was very good although the only criticism would be that it was so tasty a larger portion would have been welcomed. As a visiting vegan to Minturn, I was told Thai Kitchen was a hidden gem. We did not have reservations and waited 45 minutes. The seating is very limited, maybe seating for 26 people. While we were waiting, I could see they do a huge take out business. As soon as you come in, you're welcomed into a very lively environment. You can literally smell the delicious authentic aromas and feel the heat from the kitchen at the doorway. For starters we ordered the spring rolls with peanut sauce. They were very tasty, a good mix of tofu and greens with a hint of mint. For dinner we ordered a sweet sour mango salad with lime dressing, our usual favorite Panang curry with Tofu and Massaman sweet potato based curry with veggies. The food came out hot and fragrant. Both curries came with a generous serving of softly steamed jasmine rice. The flavors of our dishes were very distinct. The lemongrass really stood out in the mango salad and creamy Massaman curry. Our group ate hungrily. This restaurant is reasonably priced, and offers delicious and healthy food. Since my group is health conscious, we choose this restaurant because if the vegan options. Thai Kitchen easily satisfied all of our requirements. A humble exterior and basic surroundings belie the superb authenticity and all round vegan deliciousness of the food. A well deserved 5 stars. My family and I craved Thai food while we are on spring break at Vail. We found Thai Kitchen online and decided to venture out. We arrived around 8:30pm (30 minutes prior to closing) and was seated right away. We ordered a couple of appetizers (Chicken Satay and Thai Jeep) and both were good. My wife ordered Thai Iced Tea and she enjoyed it. For our main course, we ordered four dishes. Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, Thai Fried Rice, and Penang. We liked all four. We had room for dessert. This place is my go to here in the valley! I try to venture out and try new places but I end up eating here at least once a week. Authentic Thai food that's delicious EVERY time. And Patty - who owns the place with her husband makes everyone feel so welcomed and at home. You can't help but smile when talking to her. My go to is the drunken noodles w/ chicken. This is one of the best Thai restaurants I've been to in the United States -- authentic, delicious, charming and funny and friendly owner. I haven't had Thai food this authentic since I was in Thailand around 17 years ago. A word of warning -- they make it REALLY spicy! 2 stars (out of 4) was so freakin' hot. Thanks God, it was a salad, I told them to switch everything else to the lowest heat rating. So, unless you're really sure you can handle it -- go for 1 stars. Thai Kitchen is adorable and serves some tasty Thai! First off, they're handling COVID very well. We felt comfortable sitting there, as we saw them disinfecting menus and generally abiding by social distancing and the mask order. At our table, we ordered the Red Curry, Pad Thai, Tom Ka soup, and Thai Fried Rice. Each dish was more delicious than the next; and, aside from the Red Curry, we so appreciated their efforts to veganize dishes! We ventured into the little mountain town of Minturn only to find the most fire Thai food. Jesus god this place was so good. They even have a separate full vegan menu that we of course ordered off of. Crispy spring rolls 10/10. Your typical roll but just fucking delicious. They come with this sort of sweet and sour sauce. Vegan veggie Pad Thai? Another 10/10. The greens were cooked to perfection and the sauce was jam packed with flavor. Last but not least the goddamn yellow curry. 10/10. We decided to drive back to our hotel when we passed the "freeway sign" for the Thai Kitchen. We tried this very small, very charming restaurant. WHAT A GREAT FIND! You don't see Khao soi often on menus and certainly don't expect it at a whole in the walll joint in midturn but when you you see it you have to try it. Gosh, where do I start? Little teeny tiny town and off the beaten path in Minturn CO is where this hidden gem is nestled. It's between Avon & Vail just a few minutes off of I70. We went to this town to visit a consignment store located very close by then we noticed a few cute little shops that we stopped into & asked the locals about this restaurant. Anyway back to the restaurant....it's small inside, we were there at 1pm on a Sunday and where the only people there. Service was amazing! There were fresh roses on every single table & they smelled awesome too! The menu isn't huge which it doesn't need to be they have everything you could ever want at a Thai restaurant & if it's not on the menu I'm sure they would be happy to oblige as both the husband & wife owner are indeed from Thailand. There were 4 of us & one friend had never had Thai food so we were determined to order different dishes so she could explore her options. We started with a large Tom Kha soup. It was served in the coolest bowl contraption with hot rocks underneath it to keep it super hot while we enjoyed every last drop. It was delicious!!!! I ordered the Thai Rama with beef because I had seen another yelpster post a photo & I was like "that's what I want!" I ordered it not spicy at all and it was good, not great but good, there was a good peanut taste but I would have like some spice at least so I added some Siracha they had at the table. Perfect portion I ate it all. 3 friends had dishes that I will preface I tried 2 out of the 3 so I will comment on those. Pineapple fried rice add chicken. This dish is presented beautifully (see pics) and tasted exactly like described. You have to like pineapple though, because if you don't this dish is more like a dessert because of the sweetness. I loved it, add a little spice & you have the best of both worlds! Thai ginger, this dish is full of ginger love. I happen to love ginger so I also enjoyed this dish. Dessert was fried bananas. These were good but even better is the coconut ice cream that it comes with. WOW! WOW! WOW! Everything is freshly made to order and everything was wonderful! We have driven past Thai Kitchen in Minturn when traveling between points west and our home in Leadville many times, and every time we have said, "We should try Thai Kitchen sometime!" Last night we did, and are so glad! It was the best Thai meal we have had here in the mountains. We had the fresh summer roll appetizers with tofu and the were fresh and delicious--straight from the garden! I saved one for today's lunch. I had the Mango Salad with added grilled shrimp (could also have had chicken or tofu) and it was the perfect summer dish: shredded Mango with tomato, onion, mint, carrot, cashew nut, avocado , with chili lime dressing. My husband had Thai Basil Friend Rice and our daughter had the Red Curry. Everything was perfect and the service was superb, despite being a very busy night. My husband had Thai beer (Happy Buddha), I had Prosecco (a great pairing for the salad), and our daughter had the green Thai iced tea. Highly recommended! read more

All I can say is WOW!! My wife and I got carry out from here after hearing coworkers tell us about it. Thai food is one of my favorite cuisines and I can confidently say this is top of the line.
