Glass Noodle Soup
Mike H.

Went several times with family and always had a great experience. Quite good Thai food. Had the Friday lunch special which includes a small house salad and peanut dressing, an appetizer, and an entree. Mom and I split the Thai house cashew chicken ($14.95) and shrimp pad Thai ($13.95). The cashew chicken was my favorite. It was very flavorful and a little spicy, but not too much so. The chicken was breaded and remained firm and somewhat crisp despite being bathed in the sauce. The pad Thai only came with 4 shrimp, but it was moist, substantial, and flavorful, but not as much so as the cashew chicken. The pad thai needed more egg, peanut, and scallion. In addition, I had the Thai spring roll served with a sweet sauce, which was good but small and not mind-blowing. We were the only ones in the restaurant, and the waitress/hostess was very attentive and courteous. Excellent experience.

Yellow Curry (Med. Hot)

Not a single dish I had was bad! I really recommend the glass noodle soup, yellow curry with chicken, and sweet coconut pudding. The service was great and it was very calm and clean inside! Definitely recommend!

11pm closing? They need to update their system.

Place fell off from what I remember it was. I wouldn't stop talking about this place. Made a reservation for 830pm since elsewhere it said they closed at 11pm and even to reserve a table it was available until 10. We walk in at 8:30pm and the waiter says "Sorry the kitchen is closed" we let him know we had a reservation and he seemed confused. He went to the kitchen and when he came back he said "okay okay yeah, sit wherever" but with an attitude. We decided to leave and almost ruin the night. Gave it 3 stars because from what I remember, the food was authentic and as close as you can get to having real Thai food without being in Thailand.

If I were reviewing this place during normal non Covid times I would only give it 2 stars but since we are all going through this strange trip together, I added one. Went in for some takeout, the restaurant was sparkling clean and the woman who helped us was extra nice. We ordered appetizers- lettuce wraps with tofu which were bland, very very bland. We also got a fried tofu app which was ok as well. The sauce with it was very good but they didn't give us enough. I got drunken noodles, not so good. As you will see from the picture, the noodles were pretty much missing, the veg was good but they must have had a sale on fried tofu because there was an insane amount of it in my dish. Over cooked too so it tasted like sawdust. I ate the noodles and some of the veg and the container was still full. We also got the yellow curry. The sauce was tasty but again, the tofu was fried and I wasn't expecting that. The veg was an over abundance of carrots and 2 small potato pieces with a small amount of onion and pepper. The portion size was very small considering the price. It seemed like a lunch portion. I did not try the pad Thai but my daughter said it was edible, that's it. We have eaten a lot of Thai food over the years so we know good from bad. I've even been to this very restaurant years ago and loved it but honestly, this was not good. On second thought, now that I'm writing this review, I will take back that one star because I feel cheated. I get the whole Covid thing but a pan full of overcooked tofu and tasteless food makes me sad and slightly angry. I don't think we will be back.

My favorite Thai restaurant. The staff is always amazing. I've come here so many times throughout my years in Smithtown, and it has become one of my favorite places to meet up with friends who I haven't seen in a while or for a special occasion. (That it lunch with mom or the boyfriend...) There is a large selection of beers and affordable cocktails as well. My tip: make the reservation just in case... most times you can walk in and get a table, but once in a while it gets packed. (Obviously because this place rocks)

We came here on a birthday dinner back in December. The staff was accommodating especially when I spoke Thai to them. The decorations were pretty and ornate. There were several dishes we ordered including tom yum goong and tom kha gai, which were standard and not spicy. The overall taste of the food catered to the taste and spice tolerance of the community. The wings were good with great breading and texture, but Dek Sen were better. The pad woon sen was not the best I had and the green curry was not spicy enough. The highlight of the dish to me was the fried ice cream.

Always enjoy coming here. Food is home cooked, the chef is from Thailand and you can tell she cooks from the heart. Food and drinks are consistently good

Every time I visit the restaurant, I must order the duck and the coconut juice. They are so pleasant!

Delicious food, super fast and friendly service!…read more Great little spot that is perfect for warm soups on a cold winter or this delicious, healthy sandwich the rest of the year. Highly recommend this gem!

It's a quiet restaurant (but I was there right after they opened) and I appreciated that. The restroom is quiet and there's a shared parking lot in the front with other establishments. So I ordered the shrimp summer roll and a D1 combo (pho with beef combination) and I was surprised by the portion size of the pho. I didn't expect it to be served in such a large bowl and I went back to my shift feeling stuffed! The broth was so flavorful that I didn't need to add any hoisin or sriracha (which is a first for me!). The spring rolls were fresh and quite refreshing. To be honest with you, I could see the kitchen staff preparing my meal from where I was sitting and I was satisfied with how they prepared my meal! I have a few more weeks left in Smithtown rotation so I will definitely be coming back on my lunch break. However, if you're going in when they open for business, be prepared to wait a bit for your meal. I waited about 20 minutes and honestly, I didn't mind at all. It meant that my bowl of pho will be served with love and care!

Love this Chinese restaurant! It's hard to find good Chinese food on Long Island and I'm very…read moreparticular in what I like. This place is great cause it's not like the regular hole in the wall Chinese food place. This place serves alcohol and is more upscale vs the typical Chinese food spot! Staff here is always professional and very friendly. I need to come and eat here one day, I mostly order for take out, but the food is always consistent and very great quality! The general Tao's chicken is my go to with house special fried rice! The house special fried rice comes with chicken, shrimp, and pork in it. Very good and the chicken is white meat and very great quality! Egg rolls here my wife swears are the best because she says they're not too greasy and very crispy! I can't vouch for that because to me an egg roll is an egg roll! Fried dumplings here are very good though and the chicken lomein is solid. Overall this place is the best Chinese food surrounding deer park! They're located in Commack but I'll take that 20 min drive for solid Chinese food. The best Chinese food to me on Long Island is Hunan taste in Greenvale but this is closer. Love this place and highly recommend! You won't be disappointed.

No flavor at all, I had to add too much soy sauce - not great. There were no chinese veggies, no bokchoy, no watercrests, no mushrooms. It was broccoli, carrots, celery, and baby corn (2 pieces!) First of all $17 for a dinner dish that doesn't come with fried rice or soup or eggroll? Sorry I never really put negative reviews but I feel like the hype of this place out weighs its value.
