Chicken pad thai

So this review is about the food. If I gave a rating on the appearance of the place on the inside it would be a no star. Major renovations need to occur to make this presentable. Now, it appears most people wouldn't eat inside it looks like they have mainly take out business. With that said, I thought the food was excellent. Take that for what it's worth because many may say if the place looks unkept on the outside then what might it look like in the kitchen. Well, that I can't tell you. Again, great food, terrible looking establishment.

Authentic Thai & Asian cuisine Lemongrass Express 2840 Middle Country Rd, Lake Grove, NY 11755 Sesame Chicken Drunken Noodle Hot & Sour Soup Spicy Coconut Noodles [Chicken] Beef with Broccoli Chicken with Broccoli Chicken with Mixed Vegetable Vegetable Fried Rice Red Curry (Chicken] Review: (3 out of 5 Stars) It's tasty and delicious. The ambiance is okay. I personally wouldn't eat here. I think most people just do take outs. It does take a while to get the food. Everything is made fresh to order. They have about 2-3 tables that seats 4 people each so roughly about 10 people can have a meal there. Michonne or I think her name is Michelle is very friendly. Definitely try the Drunken Noodles and sesame chicken here. As always don't forget to say Bismillah and Alhamdulilah for everything

Taste was on point food looked and smelled amazing . We used delivery food arrived fast and hot . They do their own deliveries so there were no crazy charges like door dash . Definitely will order again !

Looks like a nice portion to me! pad Thai and spicy basil noodles to stay

Never to disappoint, Lemongrass Express is a staple for convenience and consistency. Don't get me wrong, the Thai food is NOT the most authentic, but this is done purposely to match the pallets of americans. Bonus: pad thai has a hint of a brown sauce flavor, while at some restaurants the dish may just lack flavor in general. Always served with crushed peanuts and lime and always the same portions of ingredients. Also if you order food make use to say how spicy you would like it, because they can customize this for you. My family and friends have become regulars here because it is not as formal as some other restaurants, and it is very easy pick-up due to its location. Eating in is also nice because it is a quiet atmosphere. My mother loves the spicy coconut noodles. The green curry has a great portion of vegetables in it. The list goes on and on.

Two lunch specials and a mango sticky rice delivered!

Really quick delivery and a really nice, although not so fluent and sometimes confusing lady who takes your orders via phone. Ordered at 5pm which was an hour past their lunch special time (Mon-Saturday until 3:30PM) and she still let me have it! I had the pad see ew and drunken noodles, and both are well flavored but can leave you extremely thirsty from all the MSG they put in afterwards. The pad see ew does not come with that much veggies and meat so expect an excess of broad noodles. The vegetable spring rolls that come with the lunch special are nothing extraordinary, but are nice to have in addition to a typical order. I like to get the mango sticky rice because the sticky rice is always creamy and delicious, but the mangoes can be a hit or miss. Make sure to eat this warm as it loses its creaminess and fragrance as it cools! Delivery time only took 40 minutes, and always make sure to ask for your receipt if you're paying with card because they don't include that in your baggy of goods and it's always better to be safe than curious. :)

Since I've lived on Long Island, I've used Grubhub a great deal when I first discovered its services. Delivery here at Lemongrass is always punctual with well spoken employees and drivers; as a Thai food connoisseur and someone with an adventurous pallet when it comes to food in-general, I have to admit the Chicken Pad Thai is delicious, hearty and filling. I also get a side of Spring Rolls with my order as a snack and they too are delectable. I absolutely recommend this establishment to anyone who enjoys Thai food in a large portioned meal for a small minimum. Thank you, Lemongrass!

I live about 5 miles from this location and delivery was right on time, nice and hot like it just got off the stove. The food was DELICIOUS! Hands down the best Thai food I've had in this area. Will definitely be trying again.

Now I wouldn't say this place "sucks", but it isn't amazing either. With that said. . I'm pretty sure this isn't thai owned since there was chinese written on my reciept. However, with the prices that I'm paying, I don't except authenticity either. Whether it is authentic or not, my tastes buds tell me that the food is pretty good. The pad see ew was good. It is very similar to the "Dry flat stir fry noodles" you would get at a cantonese restaurant, but with a different sauce to it. The noodles were well made. I would skip the pineapple coconut fried rice. Canned pineapples and the coconut smell was tooooo overpowering. The chicken was surprisingly huge and not dry at all! There were like 8 large pieces of chicken in each. The shrimp fried noodle is literally what it says. It is a piece of shrimp with crispy fried noodle wrapped around. Fried food is hard to mess up anyway. Shrimp was big and fresh. My favorite asian dessert is probably mango sweet sticky rice. There was a good amount of mango and it was very sweet and fresh. But the rice. . It was sitting out for too long. It wasn't even hot. The random canned cherry was pointless as well BUT it was huge. That big portion for $4.95. I probably would get this again just to fill myself up. I guess you get what you pay for. It's no payathai, but it is fast and cheap food. So 3 stars for the food but an extra one for being fast and cheap.

Dumplings with one of 2 "duck rolls". Duck rolls 2 for.$4.95

I must say, I was disappointed :( Not sure if it's because the restaurant was now All You Can Eat and that's why the beef quality was meh. Just by the look of the restaurant and the menu, I was hoping close to Gyu Kaku quality but it's far from it. The marinaded meat were okay but the ones without seasoning, you can tell they are not good cuts. Even the ribeye was chewy. Was really hoping the meat would be better than the chain Asian bbq restaurants in the area. Still, it's a very pretty restaurant with detailed Chinese declarations and seatings. Would be good for a group of friends to hang out and eat as much as they want if meat quality isn't a concern. Service was ok. It was a weeknight and there's really one server taking orders off the meal and drinks. He was very busy while the other servicers do not really interact with customers but to take paper orders or clean up. For this far on Long Island, I guess that's all you can get. Can't compare with queens or the city even though it's more pricey here.

Disappointed that the amounts of each order, like lamb, steak etc al were tiny, really tiny! We had to keep reordering.. Otherwise, food was OK and fun to cook. We enjoyed ourselves but having tried others of the same ilk, which were better, we probably won't return too soon!

Terrific food. Stumbled upon this restaurant in a strip mall among other Asian restaurants…read more The menu on its own did not seem particularly appealing to me either because of an ingredient ("beef offal") or because it sounded too ordinary (I had ended up ordering a "noodle soup with vegetable and egg"). But the results were fantastic. The noodles are fresh, thick and springy. The broth for the noodles is light and flavorful (I had selected the vegetable broth). The egg was amazing having crispy edges despite being in the broth and a thick but soft core. I had a fishball appetizer too. It was a skewer of 4 fishballs with a good texture but it was drenched in sauce. Service was quick and friendly. I had been surprised how quickly the food arrived. Ambiance was average. I'm glad to have found this place. I'm not a local but will be visiting again the next time I'm in the area.

The noodle textire was on point, beef and ducks were perfectly seasoned and cooked. Broth was flavorful and clean. I *almost* finished everything and took the rest home. Oh, and the fish cake on a skewer is a must try. Has an exotic Mongolian flavor, very yummy. The chef and waiter were very nice. They didn't have pickled sour cabbage when I asked but magically found some and heated it up for us! It was a.match made in heaven with the noodles. Highly recommended and will definitely be back!

Even in the NY-NY Casino. If you are a New Yorker reading this, "please don't take your Chinese food for granted." If you are a Las Vegan reading this, "the closest thing to the Chinese food that this take out served me are the three New York Chinese Restaurants."     Da Hung Kitchen is in the Shoprite-anchored shopping center. Going back to at least 1991 when Waldbaum's and Genovese Drugs anchored this shopping center, there has been a Chinese take out in this space.     And take out is what we did. It was a rainy night which was perfect for a Chinese food delivery. For around $10, I ordered the Chicken Chow Mein dinner. The chicken chow mein was flavorful with a sundry of chicken. Ditto for the fried rice. I also cherished the crunchy egg roll that is also a rarity in Las Vegas. This is so different from the spring roll style that dominates the Las Vegas Chinese Restaurants.    I give Da Hung Kitchen four stars. If only www.amazon.com could deliver Chinese food like Da Hung Kitchen to Las Vegas.

Backstory: I called and ordered food for delivery over the phone. The store called me back and asked for my card number again. I made sure to give them a card that I don't use often and monitor occasionally. A few days later my bank calks me on suspected fraud. I had a feeling it was these folks that i gave my card number too because my card was not lost had to be someone that had the number. The fraudulent transaction that gave them up was the charge from south Asian food importer APNA that did not have a physical location, but a virtual location in Ronkonkoma - they STOLE $59.41 with an order from Walmart.com - they STOLE $40.72 with an order to APNA foods in Ronkonkoma which is a SOUTH ASIAN food importer I am still combing through my transactions to find anything else they charged. All transactions that had to be keyed in and they all just so happen to occur after my purchase with them 7/17/26. I've attached screenshots so other customers can see for themselves. Customers beware of giving these people your card number Such a FOUL thing to do, to steal from YOUR PATRONS. You don't know if they are struggling financially or not and you steal from them?? While my bank will refund me, I will still report them so this does not happen to anyone else.
