I'm from the borough so for Suffolk county it's been hard for me to find decent Chinese food . This location comes the closest.

Nothing is really fresh or flavorful. It's your regular cheap, bland, Chinese fast food. The place itself is so depressing. A large empty room with a dark, dirty kitchen in the back. Plus the last time I ordered they gave me pork dumplings although I ordered veggie dumplings, which I used to like there. Unfortunately I can't have pork, so that was a waste of money and I was left with nothing to eat after getting home from a long trip. read more

Food ordered tonight was very good , but when i got home and unpacked my take out bag , both of my large orders were only filled 3/4 and not the usual full orders. Are we not giving full orders or cutting back in lieu of raising prices?? I was disappointed. read more

This is a typical take-out Chinese food place. It is always busy. The service is fast and friendly. They do offer tables, if you want to eat there. The best part is that their food is great and we get food here about 30 times a year (for the past 10 years.) So we have had their food over 300 times. If you live near Wing Wah and are looking for a great take out place give them a try. We love the beef sticks, steamed dumplings, Wonton soup, bbq ribs, lo mein, fried rice, sweet & sour chicken and shrimp, steak with peppers (add tomatoes) , and many more dishes. read more

We have lived in the area for 7 years and can not believe we haven't tried this place. Store front restaurant appeared clean, still with the Covid plexiglass barricade, which is bizarre. Last week, I tried the House Crispy Noodles, which was amazing! Today, I went in for a lunch special. I had the roast pork lo mein, with wonton soup and an egg roll. The broth of the soup was flavorful and delicious; I personally like the addition of scallions. A random, thin slice of roast pork was floating, and I would have liked more. The wontons were good but needed to be more tender. They had a definite hard bite. The egg roll was great. A nice size, decently filled, and not at all oily. The Lo Mein was the star. Great flavor, and generous thick slices of roast pork. This is my new Chinese go-to. Service is usually quick and always friendly. read more

The Sweet and Sour chicken was good. I wish I could find a restaurant that serves it with carrots, peppers and pineapple. I am not a fan of their version of boneless ribs. More bbq saucy than I prefer in Chinese ribs. It also took 40 minutes on a Tuesday night. I'm used to hearing 10 minutes at my usual place. read more

The service was great the food probably one of the worst tasting Chinese food I ever had. Absolutely no flavor. The pork fried rice tasted like it was under a heat lamp all day, the beef and broccoli had about 80% broccoli and barely any chicken. This is a pretty solid choice for Chinese food if you're in the area. We ordered lo mein, egg foo young, sesame chicken, chicken wings, & fried rice. Everything was tasty and not super greasy. Packed well and was piping hot. The only thing that was different was that the fried rice looked like saffron rice. It was yellow and larger grain than your typical Chinese takeout. Pick up order. Singapore chow mei fun is so good here, the french fries are crispy, the lomein is savory, and pan fried dumplings are good. Will order more to update review. Nothing is free based on how much you buy but after this pandemic most places are no longer giving away freebies. read more

On Long Island there is a Chinese take out in every strip mall. It is a standard to expect the same looking menu from all of these restaurants. I have rarely had a terrible meal if ever before today. I ordered the Hot and Sour Soup, it was gloopy and tasted like eggs with too much salt. The soup lacked scallions and bamboo shoots. It was so terrible that I didn't take more than a few sips. After that I tried the Spring Roll, which was chewy and didn't taste like anything but grease. This restaurant is completely sub-par and I am surprised they are able to keep customers. I've eaten from here before and I didn't care for it then either but this experience was the absolute worst. I also ordered Eggplant with Garlic Sauce but I didn't try it because, to be honest, I don't feel so great now. I hope this place steps up their game because the competition for business has got to be intense unless people are just so complacent and lazy that they can't go to Route 347 to find some awesome take out. read more

I've been coming to this restaurant, on and off, for about 30 years. Countless orders, I can only recall one mistake made in thirty years. That's a great record, just on the logistics, and the food was good anyway even if it wasn't what I ordered that one time. This is easily the best 'Chinese' food place in the area. Everything is always cooked great, the food tastes great, and there's a good selection. The egg foo yung is the best I've had at any Chinese place, the sauce is thick like it should be, and the pancakes are always browned just perfectly. Great wontons too, and the sesame noodles are always great. Basically for reliably good to great food, and reasonably priced too, it's impossible to go wrong here. read more

Went for Christmas dinner. Yes, Christmas, but why not be different? Ordered egg rolls, fried cheese wonton, pork fried rice; nice young lady told us 15 minutes, lo and behold, in 15 minutes she was asking if we wanted soy sauce, etc. The egg rolls are gone, but tomorrow's lunch is the other yummy leftovers. read more

Easily the best chinese from Centereach to Calverton, well worth the extra driving. Will make food to order, dining area no frills but spotless. Food is fresh and excellent flavor. Prices are so reasonable. My son is ecstatic (12 with a very discerning palate). read more
