    Tofu pad thai
    Grace K.

Saw a bunch of people lined up for the truck, so decided to try it out. The prices are amazing -- small for $6 and large for $7 for most dishes/proteins ($1 more for shrimp). My tofu pad thai was great; the flavor was strong, just how I like my Thai food. There were a bunch of veggies I didn't expect to find in pad thai -- like zucchini, broccoli, celery -- but it was good nonetheless. Make sure you load up on the self-service crushed peanuts (in the big Planters container) and hot sauce! They take cash, credit, and Venmo! And the owner is an absolute sweetheart. Definitely will be back to try their other noodles and curry dishes!

    Pad see ew

Large pad see ew with chicken for $8??!!! Say less. I love this food truck. Good food with a good price. And they take venmo! The man who owns the truck is so sweet and always has a smile on this face. Highly recommend this truck, especially for college students - so affordable. They do close at 2:30 though so make sure to go early!

Delicious food, friendly owner, cheap prices, it can't get better than that. My only complaint is that they aren't open long enough!

We just ordered takeout online. I got the Umami Gold poke bowl and it was fabulous! The yellowtail was so fresh. My fiancé got the California Avenue poke bowl and overall enjoyed it, although he thought that the rice was a tad too salty. We got the smaller size of the bowls and they were still huge - we couldn't finish all of the rice! We also split the California Avenue roll and loved it - the pieces were also pretty big. You really get a lot of bang for your buck here! Definitely want to try more of the menu.

The seafood they use is actually pretty fresh, and they are generous with the fish portions. I've gotten the Jack and yellow a few times (yellowfin tuna, yellowtail, jalapeno chips, and wasabi mayo) and have been pleased. It does have a kick with the wasabi mayo so beware! I would love to see them offer more sushi burrito options (currently only 3 on the menu) or a build your own style option. The sushi rolls are simple, but yummy. This is a good spot if you're craving simple, fast casual seafood, with quality ingredients. The staff have been so kind too!

Pittsburgh Sandwich Society runs a kitchen out of Strange Roots Experiential Ale which is a small locally-owned distillery. Once you enter, you'll scan a QR code to order online. Don't waste time like me waiting for a server lol. I ordered the In-An-Aht burger which features spring mix, their society sauce, American cheese and tomato. The burger was SO GOOD. All the ingredients had the perfect portions and came together beautifully. It was a perfect medium-well cook. The fries are hand cut and delicious. My only distaste was that fries were veryyyyy salty. +Customer service was amazing! +Limited Free Parking out front and in a nearby alley. +Plenty of tables for dine-in +Free boardgames to play +Beautiful patio with plenty seating I'm excited to return for the patio in the summer when I return to PA. They don't open until 4, but you can place orders online hours before then. Picked up food around 4:20. By time we got home, the fish maintained its crispness. I was actually quite impressed with how well it was prepared. Nice and flaky but didn't fall apart. The bun it comes on is well proportion with the fish. The only thing I could've went without, was the macaroni salad topped on the fish. However, the food here never disappoints. I'll be back.
