    Thai Iced Tea
    Fawn G.

I love the East Village and I love Thai , thus, this magical fusion allowed me to take a flavorful Thai journey last week. I'm always looking for new Thai places and was spending time in the East Village thus Yelped Thai food places to eat. Thai for Thought popped up. "At Thai For Thought, we believe in more than just food; we believe in creating memories..Don't just eat - experience the magic of Thai cuisine at Thai For Thought today! " This tiny gem of a place is small but the owner works hard to keep the online orders pumping and service diners who dine in the restaurant. I've enjoyed the best meals in the tiniest places in the East Village. I was in the mood for Drunken Noodle and Thai Iced Tea. The very pleasant server took my order and asked level of spice I wanted. The tea arrived shortly and was utterly delicious. The Drunken Noodle was generous in size, plenty chicken, perfect level of spice, savory sauce with chilli peppers and basil and was utterly delicious. Highly recommend! The server checked if I found it too spicy. I loved the interior; very small with four tables and wall adorned with cute poster of Thailand. All in all, food is delicious, service is genuine and kind and I loved the smallness of it. They truly care that you are enjoying your meal and cooked to satisfy your palate. There is no thinking needed for eating delicious Thai food at Thai For Thought. Thai For Thought located on 32 East 7th Street. This will be a repeat experience for me because it is located near my faves: Public Theater, Librae Bakery, Hidden Grounds Coffee and Wegman's Thus I get entertainment, bakery, Thai food, chai tea/coffee and food shopping within ablock radius.. .

When I try a new lunch spot the pad see ew is my go to. If that's good then it's likely that the other dishes are good too. Get this with beef! Well worth it. I also got a Thai ice tea too that's yummy. The lady is very sweet and let me eat inside even though I ordered for pickup. It's a small place but worth a visit.

A small but mighty eatery, from the word play restaurant name, to the whimsical décor, to the delicious grub, to the very nice staff, this place tantalizes all the senses! It's a take out place but has some seating available. The food is very flavorful and even tastes healthy!, (a scandalous adjective in some circles ;-)). Definitely add to your lunch/dinner rotation!

Had one of the best pad thai in my life, and cheap for the neighborhood as well. Highly recommended.

Employees were so nice! Food came very very fast and was served hot. The restaurant smelled and looks very very pretty. Calming ambiance and just really nice service

Delicious thai food made by 2 sweet ladies. Their menu isn't too extensive but still have the basics! I ordered the beef pad see yew and Thai basic rice with fried chicken!! 5/5 would recommend!

The best Thai food outside of Thailand! Service is extremely friendly, fast, and efficient. Wish I could eat there every single day.

Thai for Thought offers authentic Thai food that took me back to my trip to Bangkok 20 years ago. The two ladies who run the restaurant make you feel like family. Feeling a bit homesick and missing my mom, this place made me feel right at home. The portions are generous and priced very well. I love their service, and you can tell they put a lot of love into their food. Highly recommended!

I always passed by here and liked the trendy, bright beach interiors. The food is delish - simple healthy classics with lots of fresh ingredients and delicious flavors! I ordered the fire egg wrap and couldn't have the spicy sauce so the server, Bryan, brought 2 other sauces (pura vida and Caesar) for me to enjoy. The pure vida sauce was a herby green with mustard that was so good. There's lots of seating space with clean bathrooms and polite and prompt service throughout. I thoroughly enjoyed my food and time here.

I was pleasantly surprised as to the topping portions with the rest of the greens - it said their most popular add on was the 7oz grilled chicken, so I went for it....for like 7 more whole dollars. the diced roasted chicken was only $4 more so I totally could've done that....but I am a sheep. - the chicken was charred in a really tasty way, however, it was cripplingly dry. even dunked into the lemon olive oil dressing the chicken wouldn't soak it in enough to make it less dehydrated - the dressing was simple yet delicious. overall this was a wonderful salad, I just think $23 is a little....much

The chicken is…read morejust WOW and I am SO picky about chicken...perfectly cooked - crispy but still tender - deliciously seasoned throughout, not just on top. I got the spicy and it is low spice level - packed full of flavour, spaghetti squash is tomatoey and delicious, all the veggies I had were perfectly cooked and seasoned - I also tried the cauliflower and broccoli (not pictured) which were great. This is one of the few truly healthy takeout options that isn't packed full of salt sugar and additives - it tastes fresh, delicious and light. Though the portion looks quite small, it is actually very satisfying (and I can eat a lot) They get super busy (good for them as a small business!) so be aware of this when ordering at peak times in terms of wait time - my only complaint is, it is pricy - the steak in particular is quite a significant add-on. That being said, I paid for it twice in one day, so it is clearly worth it, but if I wasn't visiting - and this was a regular go-to - I would like to see prices a little more competitive. Please open in LA!!!

I love the concept of Rooted and how transparent they are with their food. Often time as a picky eater, I don't know what I'm consuming and even when I do, I feel like I have to make accommodations for less salty, oil, no butter, and the list goes on. The portions are definitely decent - I went with the 4 bounty box and was happy with it, but wouldn't mind sizing up to a 5 bounty box next time. Now to the food 1. Simply Chicken was juicy and packed with flavor - I think it's probably the garlic infused olive oil 2. The spaghetti squash (absolute favorite) - love the texture and the taste to it with the sauce, I can't recommend this enough 3. Gigante beans had good texture and felt satisfying to eat 4. Carrots were decent I can't wait to try more variations within the box options, I will be back!
