Food is incredibly disgusting and disgusting and disgusting... Everything is sweet asf and hard to swallow... There was no one in the restaurant and it was way too hot in it... the Thai tea was straight up sugar. Wait and see i get diabetes just by taking one sip

Pad see ew

YUM! what a hidden gem for authentic and delicious thai food in the Boston area. Thai Dish is super causal place, on BU campus seems to cater towards the student lifestyle of takeout with a few options for sitting but all plastic cutlery and dishes. You order at the counter (our server was super sweet and friendly) and either sit or take to go. We had the pad see ew with crispy pork and it was DELISH!! The crispy pork was both crunch and tender, and the noodles were saucy, garlicky, and well flavored. We also got the Tom Yum Noodle soup with seafood. I loved it, perfectly sour, lightly spiced, and the noodles and meat portions were just right. So happy to have found this place!

What happened to my order of pad see ew with beef? Only 2-3 pieces of small vegetable, where is the beef? The noodles is terrible. Not like in their picture. So disappointed. I was so hungry, drove 1 hour to try the food and got this.

Food is always so good. They make it so quick too. Definitely one of my favorite places in this side of town. Perfect for a late night eat or when you don't feel like cooking.

Chicken Grapow Bowl

I ordered the chicken bowl and while tasty it was awfully dry even thought I asked for extra sauce. I added more of my own sauces when I got home because three bites in, it's dry chicken over dry rice with peppers. Service was friendly but wouldn't return for this dish.

I just stopped by this place, for taking out Pad Thai with Crispy Chicken. Dish was very plain, kinda boring but flavour was excellent, both Chicken and noodle themselves are cooked just right. Noodle had super little green onion so I added baby arugula from my refrigerator. Again flavour was really good, not too sweet, not too saggy on noodle, this made me wanna try more dish from this place. Since they had only a few people sitting, my order came out ready to go very quickly. Sauce came with small container was typical for these Asian restaurant. I would say this option should be more creative for each restaurant.

Pad woon sen

Got an opportunity to try them out a few days ago though a chance collaboration, and boy, I'm glad I did! We tried two rice bowls (chicken grapow and garlic chicken), veggie pad, that, pad woon sen, and veggie spring rolls. First of all, the portions were HUGE. This all lasted a few meals! Secondly, pickup was very easy. They have a table setup outside the restaurant (they even had hand sanitizer for you!) and you can simply walk up and mention your order. The star of the show were there rice bowls! The chicken was well cooked, properly seasoned, and so flavorful. The grapow had a spice to it but it was right on point. And for $8, this is great value for your money. You essentially get a big meal and now you're free to try more variety too! The only change I would have made is requested for more sauce (I like my rice dishes covered in sauce, that's just me!). The spring rolls with the plum sauce made a perfect side dish. Next up, the pad Thai and pad woon sen were tasty and hit the mark. We ate them as leftovers over a couple of days but they held up well! They are certainly creative and trying to come up with new varieties, and I'm excited! Can't wait to try their satay and curries next, I'm sure I'll enjoy them too. Thanks for this great experience, Thai Dish - look forward to more! Keep innovating.

Ordered delivery based on high reviews. Meals were appropriately priced for the food and would suffice if you were looking for a quick bite. Green curry had flavor but was watered down. Crab rangoons were definitely sweetened so the consistency of the cream cheese looked a bit off.

Green Curry

What a delicious green curry! I ordered it with tofu and extra vegetables. Extremely flavorful, came out hot! The only drawback is I would've appreciated a little more of the coconut milk/soup part of it. Clearly it's delish if all I want is more!

Pad Thai

Pad Thai is really good! My new favorite in the area. Recommend for who looking to try authentic Thai dish, you cannot miss this place!

Tom Kha Gai Soup

I stopped at Thai Dish for lunch today. Very small place just off Commonwealth Avenue. Extensive menu, you order at the counter for sit-down or take-out. I ate by the window (I was the only customer at that hour) I began with a generous bowl of the Tom Kha Gai Soup, slices of chicken with mushrooms in light coconut milk flavored with galangal, chilies and lime $4.25. The unique flavors of the galanga and lime combined with the slightly sweet coconut milk make this soup one of my favorites. Then I had the Pickpow bowl with choice of meat (my choice a chicken) slightly spicy, delicious sautéed with chili sauce with mushrooms, carrots, red peppers, scallions, and baby corn. $10. Served with a huge bowl of white rice. The portion as large and I took half home. The food was so good I wanted to try their Chicken Pad Thai. I took one order to go. Rice noodles stir fried with tamarind sauce, fish sauce, egg scallion. $9.25 The place is immaculate, the staff very friendly and accommodating. And be sure to visit the Super 88 Hong Kong Asian Market right around the corner after your meal!

Duck Noodle Soup

This place was fantastic. At first it was a little difficult to find (the gps kept saying arrived but it was actually at the beginning of the street). There is only street parking. Once inside the restaurant, we were greeted right away with a smile from the lady behind the counter. She answered any questions we had and then took our order. The food came out quickly and hot. It tasted fantastic too. Highly recommend this place!

We came here because it was close by to where we were staying. The food was okay and the service was not really friendly. Nothing special.

I used to live nearby over 10 years ago and it was my favorite then (when the store was called Rod Dee 2). I currently work nearby and it's still my favorite. It can't be beat. I also often get the basil fried rice with another meat if I'm not in the mood for chicken.

Tbh I don't think I would come here myself if I wasn't recommended to come or have someone tell me what's good. You have to order and pay at the counter first, deciding eat-in or takeout. Either way, you have to grab your own utensils and throw out your own trash. We ordered: tom yum soup noodles with seafood, beef tendon soup noodles, and sticky rice with banana Tom yum soup noodles was labelled with two chilis and I think that's the appropriate amount of heat for me. I like how it has heat without affecting my tastebuds or making me struggle to eat. My nose watered a little but it wasn't like a river. I did have to eat slower due to the heat but it didn't annoy me. The broth isn't overly salty or watery. I like how it's tart and spicy which really increased my appetite. I chose seafood honestly because this is Boston. It came with shrimp, fishballs, and calamari. The shrimp was my favorite part, fresh without being overcooked and rough. Fishballs weren't as chewy and was a bit fishy. Calamari was middle of road with some pieces more tender than others. Beef tendon soup noodles has more of an herbal soy sauce broth that's rich gelatinous (yes it solidifies when cold). The beef tendon and beef stew pieces were all tender and juicy. This is a great hearty option too especially when you're under the weather. It wasn't as outstanding as the tom yum broth to me. The noodles used in their soup is a thin rice noodle. I thought it would be the tough type that can withstand hot soups, but it ended up being soggier than I'd like. The tom yum pad thai also seems good. It smelled good when my brother was reheating his leftovers from a few days ago. Too bad I didn't try a bite. Sticky rice with banana is a banana wrapped in sticky rice wrapped in banana leaf. I like how the sticky rice stays soft inside the banana leaf. The banana seemed too sweet at first but it was a perfect way to balance my palate after I went through the spicy and tart tom yum broth.

The restaurant was casual, but nice, and had several other tables of diners at that time. The staff was very friendly, as well. The menu had some really interesting dishes that I had not seen elsewhere, but I was lame and ordered my usual - Chicken Pad See Ew. I found the poultry to be very tender, and the included broccoli was fresh and crisp. I should note that the broccoli used was the popular Calabrese kind, while Chinese broccoli cost $1 more. In fact, there were several upcharges scattered around the menu, which was a bit much. Anyway, back to the dish...In addition to the broccoli, carrots were also included, which was not typical for Pad See Ew, but I was fine with it! The sweet soy sauce was a bit thick, like a light gravy, so that was a bit unusual, but the flavor was terrific! I heard reasonably positive things about their Pad Thai and Drunken Noodles as well. Thaitation would be a place I would frequent if I lived in the area.

Noise levels were low for most of the meal, but at one point turned up to blast a rendition of "happy birthday" for another guest - after that, music stayed a bit too loud, which seemed to clash with the otherwise calm ambiance. They didn't ask for our preferred spice levels for the main dishes, and I would've liked everything a little bit spicier. We originally wanted the salmon spring rolls but they were out. We got Tod Mun (fried fish cakes) instead, and they were really tasty. They were smaller but greater in quantity than what I've seen elsewhere, and the sauce was good. I'm not a huge fan of the side salads, though this one surprised me with the spiciness in the dressing. We ordered the mango curry (which comes with chicken, and we added steamed tofu for no charge) and tofu drunken noodles. The noodles were really good, plus looked more appetizing than the similarly-popular pad thai. I was hoping the mango in the curry would be large, beautiful pieces of sweet mango on top, so I was a little disappointed that the small chunks weren't quite as flavorful as I was hoping for. However, I was still quite happy with the dish overall. It also comes with a (pretty small) bowl of rice on the side. The food by itself would be 4 stars for me, except that at the very end of my meal, as I was polishing off the curry, I found a long hair stuck to the bottom of my plate. It didn't match ours, so I know for sure it came from the staff. I know it happens, but the ick factor is hard to get over. Knocked off a star for the unfortunate hair.
