I'm always very cautious of the authenticity of asian food in Cypress comparing it to what you'd get in Chinatown. The food at Thai Curry surprised me in a good way, and I don't feel the need to drive into the city for decent Thai food! The sauce for the jalapeno mango chicken wings was SO GOOD. We also got the green curry, phad sew ew, and green papaya salad- all delicious. I LOVE spicy food and would say you could do a 4 or 5 with their entrees if you're into that kind of thing, but be careful of the spice level for the papaya salad! Came here for the first time. I didn't know what to expect, but one thing for sure was that I was hungry. I ordered the orange chicken and was surprised...how you may ask? Well, when the plate came to my table I was welcomed with a bright orange colored chicken. The color of the breaded chicken represented that of a gold bar that would be at Fort Knox locked under close supervision. The taste of the chicken when I bit into it was that of something special. It was so good and tenders it almost brought a tear of joy because I've never had chicken this good. The service was tha best. I never had my glass fall below 25% of beverage. I usually like their food. I think their service sucks but I overlook that because the food is good. However this time something was off and the food wasn't very good. Visited for lunch this past Monday and had the Chicken Pad Thai...the more I ate the better it was...could have been more spicy and more sauce...overall pretty good. Also had the pot stickers which they fry...not a fan. Also we had the fresh spring rolls which were just ok. Wife had the basil chicken which she as well felt was just ok. So many Asian options around...this place is a just ok for us. Probably won't be back sorry. Need something to bake this place stand out to make it. read more

Great food and large servings. Ordered curry chicken with white rice I ate at the restaurant and had enough for 2 more meals. They offer a strong iced tea which was very good. Service out standing and very helpful for a first time visit. Wish they had a combo plate with spring roll and entree. When I woke up this morning, I had know idea that today would be such an special experience that I will remember for the rest of my life. Driving peacefully down barker cypress I was attracted to Thai curry. This was my first time there might I add. One thing I knew for-sure was that this experience was going to be pleasurable. I had the duck soup and was greeted by the nicest waitress I have ever met. My glass never went below 7.325 ounces. When presented duck soup, in front of me I was quickly reminded of the wetlands and how you can see migrating ducks above you flying high from north to south to warmer climate. These majestic animals not only taste amazing but give me the proper nutrients I will need for my day. It's tha best, I love it! read more

Delicious! Every dish we have ordered thus far has been hot, has great presentation and flavorful! So far it is our go to for Thai!

It may have been because it was Christmas Eve but the quality of the food was substantially lower than our last visit. Egg rolls were hard not crispy, the batter for tempura vegetables wasn't light and too thick. We ordered take away and asked for extra veggies in the Pad Thai which we did not get. I specified spice level 3 on my dish which was actually prepared with no spice at all. This was quite disappointing, I added sriracha but not the same! We have previously been happy with the food here but this experience had us rethinking our recent Christmas Eve tradition. read more

Was excited for another Thai restaurant to open closer to our home, but left dinner feeling very unsatisfied. My wife had the Phad See Ew which had an odd flavor I wasn't a fan off. I had the Phad Thai it was ok but wasn't very flavorful. The Tom yum soup was bland as well. Spicy wasn't very spicy at all. When I can't figure out what to eat, this is what go to place. I get the yellow curry, I always ask for less potatoes but always get the usually amount. Other than that this place is really good. The flavor is on point, never too spicy for my level 1 self. The curry isn't too runny, the rice is also cooked properly. It's not too hard or sticky. I def recommend this Thai gem! I love this place! I've come several times and it has quickly replaced my old favorite Thai restaurant. My favorite dish is the yellow curry (the official name is hard to spell), but I've tried the lo mien and orange chicken as well and both were delicious. My preferred spice level is 4 and I have a relatively high tolerance to spice. Service always has a huge part in forming my opinion about any restaurant. With that said, this place has phenomenal staff that are quick and kind. Lastly, prices here are reasonable and plate sizes are quite large in my opinion. Highly recommend. read more

The restaurant is clean, bright, and new, and the service is absolutely fantastic. They had an extra order of chicken nuggets from a takeaway order no one had picked up, so they made a batch of fries to go with it and offered it to my four year old for free. The food was very flavorful and the only thing I noticed was that the chicken in my dish was the slightest bit overdone. We've ordered from here twice now. First time was great. Absolutely loved it. But, the second was not. I guess we should have inspected the order before bringing it home. Two of the three dishes were wrong. Clearly a language barrier. Looking at the receipt, you could read that the items may have sounded similar - but, we're not similar items. One ended up in the trash. Ate half of the second wrong one. Third was spot on - 2 thumbs up. My advise is to look at the menu and order by number. Nice Thai place on the ever pleasant Barker-Cypress near 290. I had the Green Curry which had great taste but was a bit mild. If you like spicy, I would go for the hotter range. I go medium to Thai Hot and this was mild at that requested level. They use green beans instead of Thai eggplant which is fine with me. My friend had Pad Thai and he liked the taste but again the heat level was a bit too low. We had good service and the prices are good. Enjoy but turn up the heat! read more

I absolutely loved their green curry, my husband had the combination seafood red curry and he also loved it. The lady that served us was very nice and friendly. My husband and I dropped in one night. We had never been here. We were greeted by Mandy who is so nice and made sure we were well tended to. We love curry so I ordered the red curry and my husband got the green curry. We had some eggrolls for the wait. We didn't have to wait long, the eggrolls and the curry's came out promptly and everything was delicious. They make their curry with lots of love-it was so good I would stick a straw in the bowl and drink it. Lots of veggies and not overloaded with bamboo like in other places. The chicken was well cooked, tender and finely cut which goes along with the texture of the curry. I got the crabmeat because I like soft textures in my curry. It was perfect. We usually go into the city for good Thai food and now we will be going to see Mandy more often and recommending this place to family and friends. It's that good! read more

I went here for the first time today during lunch hour to try this place out, and in my experience it wasn't that impressive. When I first walked in I wasn't greeted or anything so I just took a seat somewhere. It took the lady a good 3 mins to finally gave us the menu after other customers started to walk in. So anyways on to the food I ordered the chicken Phad Thai it wasn't that great if your hungry this isn't the place to go to because the portion is really small for a 9 dollar plate. They actually messed up my order because I said no green onions, but guess what I found green onion lol but I didn't complain about it I just ate it anyways. I also got the level 4 spice and hoping it would be spicy but that level 4 spice tasted like a level 1 spice...if ya want it spicy ask for Thai spice because it seems like their spice game is weak! In my experience don't come here I don't recommend it at all. I mean it wasn't bad but for that same price go to my go to place on skinner road it's called Anothai Thai Cuisine. Same price but a much more larger portion! And in my opinion it's really good! And they also give you a side of soup and spring roll for happy hour. This place is no where close to Anothai cuisine!
