Absolutely phenomenal. The Panang curry lets you choose your spice level from 1 to 6, and I asked for medium. It was definitely on the upper end of my spice tolerance, and I love spicy food, but it was absolutely perfect. Hot enough to have a real kick without overpowering the flavor. The curry itself was rich, creamy, incredibly flavorful, and just delicious. The value here is also kind of unreal. This is very reasonably priced Thai food, but the quality is cream of the crop, tip of the top. I also ordered the fresh vegetable rolls with noodles, tofu, carrots, and lettuce with the peanut sauce, and they were perfect. Fresh, filling, and that peanut sauce was so good. The portions are generous for the price, everything was incredibly satisfying, and I was genuinely impressed by how much great food I got for what I paid. This the go-to for some quick thai food and boba nearby! The portions are not too bad for food. Service is quick if it's not a busy day. Not too quiet or loud inside when seated. I got the pad thai and pad khee mao. The pad thai was flavorful and noodle texture was not too soggy or hard. I think there can be more flavoring as it is on the savory side. For the pad khee mao, the basil was definitely bringing out the flavor more but the meat can get a bit chewy at times. First time at this thai restaurant, and it did not disappoint! It's a homey, casual, family-run vibe. Service was kind and attentive, and the portions are massive! We got the Chicken Satay, the Pad Kee Mao with Beef, and the Salmon Curry. We were originally debating between the wings and the satay...I think we made the wrong choice because the satay was really flat and dry. It also did not come with the usual pickled cucumber/onion relish that this dish usually does. But...onto the actual dishes--these were both amazing! Pad Kee Mao was perfectly flavored, and the noodles had a very nice al dente chew. The Salmon Curry was the star of the show--this dish was red curry based and had a generous amount of tender salmon chunks. The flavors were chef's kiss! The jasmine rice was a tad overcooked and clumpy but not too big of an issue; maybe just an off day. Would order takeout here a ton when running errands for work in the area. Would drive here from the galleria, be starving, and order the pad woon sen. Noodles were always amazing and spice level was perfect (I'm a baby about spice but hate when something lacks flavor). I also tried the pad see ew, which was also amazing. My husband liked them. Came with soy sauce to dip which was weird. Dumplings were not good. Super bland and got more soy to dip. Our server Madison was amazing. 10/10. She was very attentive and super quick with putting in our order. For entree, my husband got the beef lo mein. That was actually pretty tasty. 7.5/10. It was a bit overcooked and the noodles were all broken. I got the chicken noodle soup and was not good. The broth was bland. Noodles were a bit thin. I prefer them to be a bit thicker. We had 3 items to go - Phad Thai, Phad See Ew and Phad Kee Maow. All 3 portions were decent, and the noodles were delicious. Prices were competitive vs other Thai places nearby. Preparation was lightning fast! The entire order was ready in 10 minutes, ahead of schedule. There was aluminum foil in each container to keep the items warm. After eating at Thai Gourmet and Tony Thai's in Houston, it's been extremely hard to find delicious, up to par, authentic Thai food. I ordered through Uber Eats after a long day of travel. Everything came hot and fresh - but the flavors..... no. I ordered level 4 spicy for everything. I do like the range from 1-6 of spice and there are a lot of protein options. I ordered the Som Tum Salad (Papaya Salad - Thai Style), Tom Yum Seafood Soup w/ rice, and Golden Pouch as appetizer. Golden pouch appetizer is essentially a crab Rangoon minus the crab part. There was not enough filling in the pouch and the wonton was extremely thick and chewy. The rice.... Though I got a big portion, the rice seemed not fresh and overnight. The tom yum seafood soup - too sweet. The papaya salad - EXTREME FISH FOUL taste. I get that there is fish sauce in it (I love fish sauce) but this smell and the taste tasted more like going to an Asian supermarket, walking to the seafood aisle and eating the air smell. Not great at all. Looking at the reviews from this place, I should've ordered the noodles? Too bad I won't be bringing my husband here to try Thai food or come back again. I had placed an order for a pad se ew, red curry, and I believe a pad Thai, but realized I needed to switch the pick-up location to their 249 location. When I called to request this change, the person on the phone put me on hold--but I could still overhear the conversation in the background. I heard someone, possibly a manager or the owner, say something along the lines of "they're wasting food." The tone came across as very rude and dismissive, especially since I was simply trying to adjust my order due to unforeseen circumstances. The comment made me feel extremely uncomfortable and unvalued as a customer. Ultimately, I chose not to pick up the food at all because of how the situation was handled. read more

If you have ever eaten at Thai gourmet you will find it very hard to be impressed by Thai restaurants in Houston. It's hard to find good food in the NW side of town. This is a must try if you are in the NW! I was very happy with the pad Thai here! Full of flavor and really good. I will definitely be back for pad Thai and a few other dishes. They don't offer soup or spring roll with your lunch selection which is odd. Management make some dam soup or spring roll lol I've never had a lunch Thai dish without at least the soup. I was in the area getting my hair done and so ordered the basil fried rice through uber eats. On the app, it says that this dish is made with cashews, jalapeños and mushrooms and carrots and peas. Because of this, I ordered my dish with no cashews and yet my order was delivered as a simple bell peppers and chicken basil fried rice. It's very possible that the menu was wrong on the app but that is why I give 4 out of 5 stars. I also cannot speak on service at the restaurant but my food was delivered within 20 minutes of placing the order so very good by the uber eats standards and tasty.
