Panang u can see how watery it is....not good
    Krystle A.

Meh mediocre at best. Lacks flavor, super watered down, and even more expensive than other Thai places and oh yea it does NOT include rice with their entrees. We originally wanted moo dang or lotus Thai but everything was closed on Sundays and we were craving Thai so we gave this one a try. Their prices are at least $2-4 dollars more than the other places and they don't include rice. The pad Thai was so bland and tasteless, noodles were not that great. The pad see ew was mediocre not horrible. The panang was a huge disappointment, super super watery and lacked flavor and lacked enough meat. Service was alright, ambiance all right too. We ordered to go. We won't be coming back.

Rice is extra, not included in meal. NO fried rice either, very disappointing. Their version of crab Rangoon is called cheese puff, at least you get an even number. didn't really want to make the food spicy, thought that was the point of Thai food to make Thai hot? No orange chicken, they have golden chicken made with sweet &sour sauce, weird. Asked to make Thai hot she looked at me weird.Wasn't hot at all. The rice was bland so added the sauce from the chicken to it. They do charge for tea refill $3 each and everything is ala cart Service was slow even though we were the only table occupied in the whole place.

One of the best Thai restaurants in Reno. The food is always fresh and served hot! What the space lacks in modern ambiance, it makes up for with the quality of their food and affordable drinks. The team is always attentive and does their best to take care of you.

Stopped in for lunch with the fam. They got us in and served us quick. This is a comfortable place and wasn't overly busy. They were very attentive and took good care of us. My wife loves Curry Puffs and was just talking about getting some last week so the timing could not have been better. They were good, with a golden crispy exterior and tasty filling. I then ordered the Salmon Panang Curry. The fishy was flakey and cooked well with a flavorful broth teaming with veg. My son had his favorite, Pad Thai, and my wife got some Green Curry with Chicken. Both of which were also very good. I had a Thai Iced Coffee that was just what I needed on a lazy Sunday afternoon. Overall this was a very positive experience that I was quite pleased about.

I loved the spice level of my pad Thai with pork. They have a scale of 1 to 5, and I got a 3. I wish I got a 5 for more spice, but I wanted to play it safe. The service was so good and attentive. The food came out within 10 minutes of ordering. I recall seeing that if you pay with cash, the bill is cheaper which is really nice.

Tom yum gong soup. Sweet and sour. Amazing!

Best Thai food ever! Absolutely perfect. Terrific flavors. The service is wonderful. Highly recommend.

Great place of youre craving good Thai food. Freshly used ingredients and seafood. I decided to try their shrimp pad Thai noodles and it's a must. Fast service and great ambiance.

Are you getting the hankering for some good Thai food? Well, Thai Chili has easily become one of our favorites. Located in Midtown, this restaurant has been a staple for quite some time in Reno. We were feeling something different, so I opted for the cashew chicken (without shrimp) and my husband got the Pad Prig Sod with chicken, both were AMAZING! They come with a side of rice, no extra charge. I definitely preferred my cashew chicken dish more, and both dishes could have been more spicy (our preference), but it was delicious. We came in on a Sunday, and it was quite busy (always good!). The service was kind of slow, but nothing too crazy to bug out about. Regardless, the food is good, the restaurant is cozy, and overall it's a good time here. Side note: the pad Thai is indeed, delicious, but wanted to review on something that isn't a typical dish!

left to right; thai eggplant beef basil, fried tofu ( appetizer) and the Larb Salad

We went here on a Sunday after lunch. You know most of the Thai restaurants are closed on Sunday to rest and for religion reasons. It was a delight coming back here in years. It was quiet afternoon, there was only one waitress doing everything. Pretty impressive! We ordered a thail eggplant (beef) basil, Chicken curry, beef larb, sticky rice, tofu for the appetizer. Unfortunately, they are out of their roti that day and we all ordered Thai iced teas. My only complain was the plate was still a little greasy but that is fixable. Everything was delicious, I forgot about this place that they have the best curries I ever had. The larb is a great surprise, I'm glad my friend ordered it. The place is clean, the furniture has a cute touch of Thai Culture, the music is not too loud great to hear my friends conversations . The waitress is so sweet and efficient and attentive to details. I will recommended this to anyone who visits Reno.

Great lunch menu with so many options. The service was good and attentive. Ordered the eggplant with chicken lunch special and it was just the right amount of food. A small salad with lettuce, and cumber was very refreshing. The steamed rice was average, on the dry side and it appeared to me it was leftover from the day before. The restroom could have been cleaner. The area around the doorknob was dirty and the hand dryer didn't have much air coming out of it. Located in midtown. Restaurant has a parking lot with plenty of spaces.

Great lunch option! The staff is also friendly, and very attentive to details, especially when you want to customize your order. I love their mango curry and I always change it to salmon instead of chicken. The reason for 4stars is the change to their curry puffs. It used to be a great appetizer and much bigger. Now you barely get any potato curry inside. Other than that, great food and place!

I then had to fight to flag a waitress to ask for chili paste to get any heat in my entire dish. I like that there are veggies with it and the noodles have a good chew, but I've found zero dishes with anything near Thai spices here My partner got the pad thai, which was sickly sweet yet didn't taste like tamarind, fish sauce nor contain pickled veg. The wood ear in it was excellent, but I've never seen it in pad thai. The thai ice tea was good, maybe a bit heavy on sweetener. I don't understand the high ratings here, based pireh on food. Thai Chili has far better flavors, and is rated lower. The wait staff/food runners lacked politeness, and never checked if we enjoyed our food or needed anyone. Sans the person filling everyone's water, we were never checked on in any other capacity. The restaurant was a cacophony of noise and conversation, I had to lean across the booth to have any chance of hearing my companion. The noise level is overwhelming if you have sensory issues at all. The decor is pretty cool.

I am not a big lamb fan, but this New Zealand lamb was tender and non-gamey. The owners did an outstanding job of timing the dishes and engaging with our group while also taking care of other diners including non event patrons getting getting take-out and inhouse menu dining. The ahi tartare portion anywhere else would have been a shareable appetizer. But each person was served a large portion of delicious fresh ahi. Mmmm this course and a glass of wine could be dinner alone any other evening. The soft creamy rich egg custard was hidden under a thick seafood gravy. I really enjoyed this unique dish. The miso black cod is always flaky and delicious. And the crab fried rice it's nestled on also never disappoints. The rich New Zealand stir fried lamb and shiitake mushrooms over pea shoots was a fabulous hearty dish on this chilly March evening. As for the satay, they accidentally brought out chicken satay at first, which our server immediately noticed and rectified the issue. When the tofu satay came out, it ended up being skewers of fried tofu puffs that you'd dip into their peanut sauce. While delicious, I was hoping there would be more creativity in layering or marinating the tofu with the sauce like the chicken satay would have been. As a Californian, I appreciated the lower pricing for their menu items and found it fairly inexpensive given the times.
