Mom and pop Thai restaurant in the area! The restaurant was empty, the food was decent, and the service was great. Pad Thai with wide noodles- standard pad thai, but I do wish it had a bolder flavor. The tofu was good and I appreciate that they offer wide noodles. Duck fried rice- too oily, and the duck was a bit bland and tough. I would skip this one.
We were visiting the area and glad we stumbled across this restaurant! We were seated right away and our orders came out fast too. Food and service were great.
3/23/26 - Ordered the roasted duck panang curry & Thai iced tea (again). I got Tom Yum soup (chicken/shrimp) with rice noodles to go. TBD on that. The servers were very attentive and kind; it was Monday night, and not extremely busy which helped. They boxed my food for me as well, customer service was even better than my first visit! ~~ Original review: An authentic Thai restaurant that is a true pleasure for your taste buds. I had the Thai iced tea with the roasted duck panang duck curry. A unique dish that I haven't seen at other Thai restaurants; the portion was plentiful and the duck was tender, flavorful and yummy. The curry didn't overpower the duck, and it wasn't soggy. The spice level was perfect. Spicy enough for a kick, but you can taste the medley of flavors. I really enjoyed the pineapple in this dish, it complemented everything else perfectly. The thickness of the curry was on point. 10/10 The Thai iced tea was balanced well; sweet, but a strong tea flavor. However, there were small bits of tea at the bottom. Otherwise, it was perfect. 9/10 My coworkers had the yellow chicken curry & chicken lettuce wraps. Service: Good customer service, they checked on us a couple of times even though it started to get busy. The tattooed server was handsome. 10/10 Ambiance: A casual hole in the wall vibe where you can hear the chefs yelling from the back. Gold wall art that makes you feel like you feel like you're in Thailand. Parking: Parking lot with plenty of parking at 6pm on a Tuesday. I would definitely return any time I'm in NorCal.
Our host greeted us promptly and sat us. Server came quick and got our drink order. We ordered and the food came fast. We had appetizers. My cousin had the fried tofu which was crisped perfectly. I had chicken lettuce wrap appetizer and it was delicious. The sauce was good, the lettuce was fresh, the chicken and veggies were great. The place had a relaxed vibe. Overall we would return. Service is good, foods good, vibes good.
I came here with my sister and mother, we came here at about 2pm and they close at 3pm for lunch then they reopen again for dinner at 4 or 5. We ordered the mango curry salmon which was delicious as always. The veggie thai chow mein was ok. I think next time we will get shrimp chow mein. We ended our lunch with their mango sticky rice which is always delicious! I love the combination of flavors in that one. We ate outside since they had outdoor seating. The service was alright this time around.
Food was delicious! Portions were plentiful, especially for my hungry teen. The spicy line sauce that came with the chicken was super flavorful. I could put that on everything! Service was great too. Friendly and handled the lunch crowd well. Nicely decorated and music was not too loud. Pleasant. :) We've been here for dinner before and super busy, but lunch was manageable. Highly recommend this place. We'll be back!
Corina and I had lunch here again today. The food and service was excellent as it always is. We have been coming here for like 25 years. I've eaten in this restaurantmore times than any other place I have gone to in my life. We had the Fresh Spring Rolls as they are a pain to make at home and these are very tasty. We tried the Tamarind Shrimp for the first time and loved them. They are something I will make at home. We have never seen a menu with so many different choices and I would like to try everything on it!
I don't have any recent pics but it's been a while since I've gotten a decent meal here. I'm sad to say it's been pretty downhill and the flavors just don't hit the same as they use to. And the pricing is pretty crazy in comparison to other places in EG too. The chicken was dry and lacked flavor. I haven't dined in for a while so I can't say much about the service or ambiance. I most recently ordered through door dash.
What we ordered *Ginger Crispy Chicken -large portion -came with 3 dipping sauce -tasty & delicious *Spicy Eggplant (choice of protein -Fish) -large portion -must have - everything about this dish was delicious *Coconut Seafood Soup -a little disappointed that it wasn't served in a metal container with a warmer like most Thai restaurant to keep the soup hot. -surprisly a pleasing soup with generous amount of seafood The restaurant was full when hubby and I arrived on a Friday night. We waited outside for a few minutes. We were greeted with a nice hello from a server named Arturo who also ended up being our server. He was attentive, very pleasant and just had a really welcoming personality. A star for each meal we ordered and a star for ARTURO. Thank you Thai Chili. We will be back.
I've been coming to this restaurant for several years now. The food remains exquisite. We came here on a Sunday afternoon and found that it wasn't as packed as I anticipated. The service is great and it looked like they were possibly shortstaffed, but we still got our food in a timely fashion. This environment is usually pretty chill but today we sat next to noisy people so I asked to move to a booth and attach a table which was not an issue with the servers. Since I do keto most weeks out of the month, this is my go to cheat meal spot when I'm craving noodles and Thai hot spicy red curry
This is a hidden gem. Everything here is a flavor bomb. Tyler was an awesome server and had such a fun personality. This is a must try you will not be disappointed.
Me and my family came here and order $150 worth of food here is my order and the review. Broccoli pad see ew: it was flavorful but the noodles were mushy 5/10 Thai fried rice: it was good nothing crazy 7/10 Thai Thai Orange Chicken: HORRIBLE DO NOT GET IT, I got dried pieces of chicken and bucket of vegetables one tiny sauce. -4/10 Teriyaki chicken: Not good they have a bit more a chicken it's just not worth $20 in my opinion and it doesn't come with rice. 2/10 Spring rolls: my mom really liked it 8/10 Vegetable egg rolls: it was good 7/10 Vermicelli with beef: this was my favorite it was seasoned well, the noodles was nice and good serving size 9/10 Mango sticky rice: it was okay the mango had no flavor it was basic I definitely had better 6/10 Overall this was mediocre, it's 100% not worth the money in my opinion but the people are nice and it's edible if you have no other option
This has been my go to Thai restaurant for years, and it never disappoints. I decided to grab takeout for dinner this time and everything was just as delicious as I remembered. Their beef Pad Thai is hands down my favorite because it's packed with flavor, the beef is always tender, and I've honestly never had a better Pad Thai anywhere else! We also ordered the papaya salad and the beef larb. The papaya salad was fresh and tasty, though I think it could use a little more shrimp paste for an even deeper flavor. The beef larb, on the other hand, was amazing as always! perfectly seasoned and one of my favorite dishes on the menu. I've dined in several times over the years, and the service has always been quick, friendly, and welcoming. It's one of those places that's consistently great, whether you're eating in or ordering takeout. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone craving delicious, authentic Thai food! read more

I've come by twice and so far it's been pretty good. Thai chili is a mom and pop shop and I love how welcoming they are and how fast the service is. I've ordered the boat noodle, the tamarind shrimp and the pad see ew. The tamarind shrimp was just okay. The cook on the shrimp was good but the tamarind sauce was too sweet for my taste and the broccoli was over cooked and unnecessary in my opinion. The boat noodle was solid. Flavorful and beefy and the noodles had amazing texture. Not a stand out dish in my opinion but solid. The pad see ew has been my favorite dish from this restaurant so far. The portion is HUGE and they don't skimp on the protein. Flavor is a tad sweet for me but if you add sambal or chili oil it's pretty darn good. Definitely the highlight dish for me. I'll definitely be coming back to try more. read more
Got take out for chicken pad Thai ( spicy level 3) and the veggie spring rolls. Great combo! I'd get the chili oil on the side too because I love the extra kick and oiliness haha. The pad Thai was flavorful and rich. Chicken might've been a bit dry but the noodles were enough flavored to balance it well! Get extra chicken with the chicken pad Thai! Way worth it for the protein gains and tasty! Quick service and friendly staff! You can order online and it was ready in time. It's a nice casual sit down with booths. Parking is right outside. Decided to give this place a try since I was in the mood for Thai food! Got sat at a table right away. Not the cleanest of places I've been but definitely a great hole in the wall! Calamari-nothing too special, very plain without the sweet chili sauce Fresh shrimp spring rolls- refreshing crisp, and minty, sauce is sweet and tangy. Pad Thai- Really delicious and flavorful, one of the best ones I've had. Huge portion Green curry- Amazing taste of flavor and great with rice and the pad Thai. I haven't been here in over a year. Came in on a Weds night for dinner to celebrate a friend's birthday. Staff were friendly. It wasn't too busy but there was another big grp that arrived after we were seated. Food was good. Disappointed in the drunken noodle with real crab meat. I Didn't taste any crab. Ordered: Thai Papaya Salad 3 was the perfect level for us Drunken Noodles w/ Real Crab Meat Pineapple Fried Rice w/ Seafood Combo Spicy Eggplant w/ Fish Grilled Combo meat Veg Green Curry w/ Egg Plant additional $2 They charge for Thai Peanut Sauce ($2.50) Mango sticky rice Singha Everything was good but my favorite was the pineapple fried rice & mango sticky rice. I was in Elk Grove for a project this past week and we went on Yelp to find food places to order from. My co-worker found this place "Thai Chili" with over three thousand reviews and we both like Thai Food so we ordered. What I ordered was the "Beef Larb Salad". I didn't even see the picture, but I have eat at many Thai places in Los Angeles and ordered the same dish and what I got was shocking and digusting to say the least. I have never seen any Thai place use ground meat in a salad? Beef Larb is supposed to be Beef chunks, what I got was ground beef with cut piece of Iceburg lettuce throuwn on top. (see the picture) how does anyone call this a beef salad? Maybe there is not enough Thai food in Elk Grove for people to know what real Thai food is. I als ordered a Coconut Soup and that was also awful and not the real authentic Thai Coconut Soup. All I can say is to find some other Thai Food place that knows what real Thai Food is, this is place is not it. read more
Thai chili is hands-down my longtime favorite Thai restaurant. I am absolutely obsessed with their crispy fried chicken and all the curry dishes that they serve on the menu. They give generous portion size and everything is just delicious. I have been coming here for many years and the quality of food remains consistent and good. The service staff is always welcoming and friendly and attentive to our dining needs. It is a popular place so it can get busy but the wait time is never too long. You definitely want to come and check out the Thai food at Thai chili as you won't be disappointed. read more

Dropped in on a Wednesday night. The food quality was amazing. Ordered the home style garlic wings which were fried to perfection. My fav part was that they were all flats! The see ew noodles with shrimp and green curry was also SUUUPER tasty. They have a spice rating of 1-5 and I ordered a level 2 which had a decent kick but I feel like I could've maybe ventured out into the level three range. Thai chili also had really good portion sizing. The staff were super nice and attentive and the place was quiet, clean, and able to be seated as soon as I walked through the door. Nice casual ambiance, the waiter was friendly. This is my first time trying po take, it's very similar to Tom yum, very delicious flavorful and robust flavors. Definitely a great soup especially if you're under the weather. I finished my night with the fried bananas and coconut ice cream, all I can say is "get it!!!!!!" read more

Delicious local Thai food. Many different dishes to choose from that will delight the palate. The Shrimp Pad Thai and Thai fried with chicken, and Pineapple red curry are some of my favorites. The Thai Tea is also quite tasty and satisfying as a dessert. The service is good, they do get very busy so do aware sometime they phone will ring and ring. The inside of the restaurant is nice and has soft lighting. read more

I used to order Roasted Duck Fried Rice regularly for the passed few years but I no longer see it on the menu of DoorDash. Is this dish still available?
Yes, We had the Roasted Duck Panang Curry just yesterday. It's in the Doordash menu, but you have to click at the end of the House Specialty section to open it further.
Is it open for indoor dining?
Yes, we went inside and ate, then took lots of leftovers home.
