This place is kinda hidden, it's far in the shopping center away from the main road. With that being said, there was always a steady flow of customers even when I was there mid afternoon. I will say, they were very attentive and quick at seating, getting ice water, getting my order and bringing out the food. I ordered a medium sized combination pho. It was solid. Not the best I had, but definitely very yummy and filling. They were generous with the amount of meat in the bowl. I finished the entire bowl.
First time here this morning and I am glad I gave this place a try. Service was fast and the Hu Tieu is the best I've ever had in Elk Grove. Laid back atmosphere. Shall return with the family soon.
We were greeted right away as we walked into the restaurant. The restaurant was fairly full when we arrived but the cool waiter was able to seat us. The restaurant was clean and well lit. We ordered the pho ga (my friend changed up the meat a bit) and I got the hieu tieu with broth this time. Our order came out pretty quickly and was hot, just the way I want it. Im pretty particular about my soups being hot, I will return it if its cold. The pho ga broth was clear and clean, really flavorful. The hu tieu had a lot of yummy goodness that's rarely overlooked at other places. It really hits like home. This is one of my favorite pho and hu tieu places in Sacramento/eg. I would definitely come back regularly.
This is my favorite place to get hu tieu dry noodles the sauce that it comes with is so good. They also give you a bowl of broth on the side with a piece of pork. The meat melted in my mouth. I like to get it with pho noodles and the clear noodles . I am not a fan of the heart and liver so they were able to give me more pork meat instead. My boyfriend likes to get the pho there. I haven't tried to pho yet but it looks good . The service there is great. We were starving and the food came out fast.
I came by to place a quick to-go order since I wasn't feeling well. It was around 11am on a weekday and it was pretty empty with one or two diners. I ordered the hủ tiếu (pork noodle soup) with the yellow egg noodles. They came out with my order packed to-go really quick. I got home and assembled the food and it was delicious! Really comforting and tasty. I would come back just for the pork noddle soup and this may be my new go-to spot for it!
We came here for lunch last Saturday. We were greeted and could choose the seat we wanted. The owner was nice and friendly. I ordered beef tendon with fresh noodles, and my hubby ordered pho combination. I really enjoyed my tendon, and my toddler enjoyed it as well. The broth tastes MSG-free to me. My hubby enjoyed his bowl, too. They have plenty of seating, and the plaza is big. We definitely will come back again.
Wife saw a new spot and we checked it out for dinner. Interior was clean with nice decor. Waitress seated us quickly, was polite and attentive. Primarily a pho place; menu smaller then I was expecting (3 soups, 1 rice plate, no dry noodle, etc). Large bowls were like a small at other restaurants. We ordered: Spring Rolls - good taste, sauce looked fresh Pork Egg Rolls - nice crunch, good filling, came with fish sauce Large Pho Dac Biet Combo (2) with fresh noodle - never seen meat on the bone before! Good amount of meat but other pieces seemed smaller then other places. Overall I thought it tasted really good! Large Pho Ga combo white / dark free range chicken - wife and son really liked it. Avocado Shake - good taste. Egg Cream Coffee - wife said good flavor but thicker then she expected.
First time visitor. Arrived about the noon hour on a Saturday and was immediately seated with menu and waters. Tried both the beef and chicken broth and both were plenty flavorful. The beef in my bowl was soft and not dry at all. The "side veggies" were also fresh. Maybe because this place is still new, but I really appreciated the cleanliness especially for the sauce bottles and condiments! They have the normal rice noodle and fresh noodle option for your pho. Service was very good. The man who served us our bowls (may have been the owner) asked to make sure we had everything we needed before leaving us and was very friendly.
I recently discovered Pho Mi Amor while looking for new-to-me pho spots to try. While I'll always have my solid favorites, I do enjoy branching out and seeing if a different restaurant catches my fancy. Pho Mi Amor is tucked away in a quiet strip mall where Big Lots used to be. It's conveniently off 99 and Elk Grove Blvd. The entrance can be easy to miss if you're not looking for it. The interior of the restaurant is bright and clean, and I was greeted and seated immediately. While it is cozy, there is still a good number of tables, with some larger tables to accommodate bigger groups. I came on a quiet Thursday, but I can see it getting busy on a weekend. The menu is limited, which is just fine for me. I came strictly for the pho bo. I didn't have a big enough of an appetite for the #1, so I went with the #2 medium, and decided to upgrade to fresh noodles. It didn't take very long for my food to arrive, and I loved that the basil had giant leaves, especially as I really enjoy adding basil to my pho. The lime was really juicy, which was a huge plus since I usually ask for extra lime. Here I didn't have to. The bean sprouts were fresh as well. There are plenty of condiments for you to doctor up your pho as you please, including my favorite--spicy chili oil. It is indeed spicy, so be careful about how much you add. As our community manager Rachel mentioned in her review, the broth is a little sweet for my taste too, but overall their pho does hit the spot. The wide fresh noodles had a nice texture without being overcooked. Next time I want to try the regular noodles to compare. All the cuts of meat were tender, and there was a good portion for the price. The medium is a really good size here as well, and I was definitely full after my meal. Pho Mi Amor has been added to my list of pho spots I'd return to again, and I'd love to see what my husband says about the broth when I bring him next time.
Mi amor!! The pho was so good. I walked in and quickly sat. After ordering the food came out in 5 minutes. Both phos were hot and fresh and it was reasonably priced and delicious. Unfortunately they didn't have any goldpops but the boss gave us complimentary ice cream!
I have been here twice now to try their two main types of pho. The first time I had the pho dac biet with a side of rib bone and fresh noodles. The broth was rich and full of flavor and there was lots and lots of meat. I really enjoyed it. My second time, I tried the chicken pho with dark meat. They were out of the free range chicken on the day I visited for lunch. That was more a clear lighter broth and still enjoyable. Of the two I definitely like the traditional pho better and will order that next time I go. Service was good and food came out fast.
It's located hidden away off to the side of a large strip mall on a super busy street. But the seating area is large and they open late. I came in for lunch and ordered the large number 1. It's a combo of the #2 and a beef rib bone. In terms of pho this is top 5 for me. Flavorful broth that isn't oily. It has real beef stew flavor and not some artificial flavors. It's seasoned perfectly, not too salty and not too bland. On top of that I ordered it with their fresh in house made noodles which are thicker and more satisfying when you slurp. The portion is large and filling. The condiments are more than the usual. You get the salad condiments, but you get salt, pepper, vinegar, chili oil (spicy at the right level), pickled jalapeño, hoisin, sriracha and fish sauce. Other places are mostly stocked with hoisin and sriracha only. As for service, so fast and polite. The lady owner spoke to me like I was her son and made me feel welcome. I got sat down, served within 10 minutes most! Can't beat that. Overall, probably best pho in Elk Grove.
This is my first time coming to Pho Mi Amor. I had just finished some work and I had a craving for some Vietnamese food. I was huunnngryy. I walked in just needing a table for myself and the kind man told me I can sit anywhere and he asked if I had any questions before ordering and he was able to answer questions I had about the food portions. I had looked at the menu online before walking in, and the prices are very, VERY reasonable. The menu was small and simple, but to me, this usually means they really specialize in these menu items. Once I was sat with the menu and some water, I noticed the restaurant was decorated with plenty of plants. It was very inviting with a cozy vibe. Even their light fixtures added a cute touch. I ordered fried chicken egg rolls, their number two beef pho, and a thai iced tea. He brought out the garnish plate with extra napkins and asked if I wanted pickled jalepenos. Even though I came in an hour before closing, it seems like they kept the place very clean. The sauces weren't dried onto the lids and they refrigerated the pickled jalepenos. I wasn't expecting the food to come out in a specific order since they were closing soon but my food came out hot and quick. The food was amazing. I had the broth without any sauces and it tasted amazing alone but I love my pho spicy. I haven't tried pickled jalepenos with pho before but I tried it out and the food just continued to taste better and better. I ate all the food I ordered. Once got up to pay, the same man asked how the food was and asked if I can leave a review. Maybe he saw me taking pictures or heard me on the phone talking about the food. Or just saw me inhaling my food LOL. But I don't usually leave reviews and I was curious to see how long this place has been here since I've never been here before. I had a short conversation with this nice lady who said they took ownership two years ago. I'm assuming since they're in the corner of this plaza and behind a bank and fast food restaurant, a lot of people may miss this place but their service and food was amazing. I hope this review can boost this restaurant's business because they seem like amazing business owners that want to serve great food!

Small portion of noodle, even though I got a large. I typically have a little bit left over whenever I order larges at pho places but today I finished the whole bowl and was still hungry. Portion of meat was good. I also enjoyed the flavor of the broth. Service was overall fine, but they never checked up after bringing the food to refill our waters. Based on the taste of the thought I would return, but I would have to not be that hungry. read more

I don't usually order pho when I'm at restaurants because I've grown to only really like my own home cooked pho lol. But when I'm lazy and want a bowl I usually come here for my pho. The restaurant is spacious with plenty of seating. Customer service is good. Always pretty prompt. I ordered the pho ga with yellow noodles and some eggrolls for appetizer. The pho is always very flavorful but I think they've changed the yellow noodle because it's very thin, super soft almost disintegrating soft and not as great as it used to be. Hope they change it back to the thicker yellow noodles. The eggrolls are flavorful with plenty of filling. I recommend the chicken pho with yellow noodles if it's the thicker noodles. If not just eat the regular pho noodles lol read more

Stopped by for lunch with my mom and daughter after some shopping. It was our first time, so we took our time with the menu. My mom doesn't eat beef and was tired of chicken, so I suggested she try the pork soup. My daughter wanted the same thing, I went with traditional beef pho. We also ordered a side of egg rolls. The staff was friendly and helpful. Everything came out quick and hot. I tried my daughter's broth and it was really flavorful, same with my pho. Egg rolls were pretty good. My mom really enjoyed her soup and said it was one of the best soups she had in a while. That's a lot coming from her. The only negative was they never came back to fill up our water. read more

Searching for pho shops on my way home stumbled on this place and honestly kinda glad I did I've been wanting to try Hu Tieu Nam Vang... I really liked it with the broth on the side and the mix noodles was a good suggestion from the waiter.. The ambience normal nice and clean the service was great staff are friendly definitely returning. read more

Stopped in with the fam to give this a try. Was impressed before we even stepped foot into the restaurant! A guy saw us walking towards the door and held it for my wife, who was at least 10 steps from the door. I was about 10 steps behind her, and the guy still had the door opened for me; turned out that he was the part owner! His graciousness continued in the restaurant, as he continued to talk to us about his business and made recommendations without being pushy. The dining area was clean and organized, floor to walls. Menu was simple, not like traditional pho restaurants that offer 40+ entrees; this one had under 20. We ordered 2 appetizers: the chicken egg rolls, which wasn't greasy and had a decent amount of filling, and the spring rolls, which was ok (wished there were more noodles in the rolls). The peanut sauce was warm; didn't have any crushed peanuts which would've been a nice touch IMO. For the main meal, I ordered the pho with only rare steak and tripe with clear vermicelli noodles (mung bean, which was a plus to hear). Other noodle options to choose from was yellow egg noodles, rice noodles, and fresh rice noodles for $1 more. Broth was good, not too greasy. The beef was tender and tripe had the right amount of snap to it, not too chewy. My wife ordered the free range chicken pho (regular chicken also offered, depending on what texture you prefer); simple with somewhat decent amount of chicken. My son ordered the Hu Tieu Nam Vang with glass noodles. I myself wouldn't order it, unless you're into pork heart and liver, along with calamari, pork shoulder, quail egg and ground pork, but that's just me. We also ordered Hai Nam Chicken Rice plate, which I was told was similar to Hainanese chicken over rice. This dish didn't quite hit the mark. We were expecting poached chicken, boneless and tender breast meat nicely sliced with fragrant jasmine rice like at other places that offer Hainanese chicken dishes. What we got was chopped chicken pieces with bones attached and rice that had faint ginger/scallion flavoring. The side bowl of ginger scallion for dipping was ok but a bit too much oil. This item was listed at the bottom of the menu, so I should've known this wasn't going to be a standout item. Overall, the service here was outstanding and the food was good. I wouldn't Mi Amor is the most authentic Pho place, but it's good enough for me to say we'll be back for the Pho if we're in the area. read more

The restaurant is nice and clean with quite a few seats for small or larger parties. The staff was super attentive and nice, checking on us frequently and refilling waters. I like their menu is simple so it's not overwhelming. We ate the pork egg rolls and seafood egg rolls - I was decently surprised by the seafood egg rolls and preferred it between the two. We also enjoy the pho ga dai and hu tieu. Both were good - simple, not complex, and enough to satisfy. read more

This place popped ip on Yelp after dropping off my diaghyer to rehearsal. It's located in the same parking lot as Arby's and a little tucked in the corner of the strip mall kinda or near the old big lots location. The place is clean with enough seating to accommodate a pretty decent about of people while still allowing space between tables. The offered different phos, rice plates and a few selected appetizers. We ordered what they are known for ! The bowl that comes with the ice sized beef rib. Tender, fall off the bone, can taste the meat. Broth was clean and had some nice flavor. Tons of noodles! A true hidden gem! Randomly found this place on a night out and decided to give it a try and I'm proud to say this will be a main staple of mine! We were instantly greeted by kind servers and it just felt warm inside. The server thoroughly explained the menu and you could tell how passionate he was about each dish, we got the beef pho, hu tieu, and spring rolls each one was absolutely delicious. The spring rolls have such a strong fresh flavor paired with a creamy peanut sauce, you can't go wrong! The soup based dishes were so aromatic and flavorful it makes you feel like you're visiting Da Neng! I came back the next day to have it again and it didn't miss! This place is a must try!! read more
We have come here several times already in the past couple months and missed out on reviewing. We love how the pho dac biet here has really good tasting bone broth and they load up on the meats. Who doesn't like more meats! They do not skimp. The pho ga today was decent. Maybe not their house special but good to have other pho options. But any beef pho here I would recommend. I recall last couple times my wife had the pho gau. She loves brisket and it was so satisfying. They also offer fresh noodles which is a priority for us when having pho and not many places around here offer that. The hủ tiếu nam vang(pork noodles) was surprisingly flavorful and I really liked the clear noodles. The regular sized hủ tiếu was not worth the price because in my option, the portions were very small even though it had rich flavors. They only had chicken egg rolls at the time and it was not good. It was HOT in here when we decided to try this place out. Everyone around us was also sweating. They need to fix their AC or something. Food was good though, ordered a pho and some spring rolls that came out quickly. Broth was rich and loaded with meat. Just would've enjoyed it more if it wasn't so hot inside read more
My family came here for dinner. ( my first time here) Upon entering the restaurant there was natural light streaming in. The restaurant appear cleaned and spacious. We sat at the corner table. It was a hot day and im not sure if the air conditioner was off or just on low but it was warm inside. There was a fan by the corner of our table but wasn't helping. We were sweating. Besides this matter, the staff were friendly and service was quick. The menu was simple which makes it easier to decide on what to order. We ordered the #1 pho, medium size with side of rib bone, pork eggrolls, #2 pho combination and #5 hu tieu nam vang ( dry option) with thin rice noodles. All the pho broth were flavorful with alot of meat, tripe, beef slice tendon and beef meatballs. For my soup (#1) I didn't have to add any condiments. I just dip my meat in Sriracha and hoisen sauce. I tried the hu tien nam and I loved it. It was savory and rich. I will definitely come back to order this dish and try there chicken noodle soup. read more

Got back from visiting Vietnam last week and was craving for some fresh noodles pho. I'm so glad Pho Mi Amor has it. The flavor is amazing with a home cooking kind of touch. They do not skimp on the meat either. read more
This is a very solid spot for pho. I originally saw it on Instagram from another Yelper and knew I had to stop in. It was a bit hard to find as it's tucked into the plaza and a bit away from the street, but once you're there parking is easy. The restaurant has plenty of seating and the staff greeted me right away when I stopped in. I was able to grab a table and then ordered a medium #2 combination beef pho ($14.50) and upgraded to fresh noodles (+$1). The food came out quickly and they brought fresh bean sprouts, basil and lime to add to it. They also had a variety of items on the table to adjust the flavor of the pho like sugar, fish sauce, hoisin, sriracha, and picked hot peppers. I made sure to taste the broth first and it was really flavorful and a bit sweet, it really didn't need to be adjusted (based on my tastes) but I did add all the bean sprouts, basil and lime in. It was delicious. The medium was a good portion and I managed to finish it but was so full afterward. If I had ordered a drink or appetizer I definitely would not have been able to finish it. The rest of the restaurant was bright and welcoming and there are plenty of tables available. They also have greenery and art up, including a cute neon sign which gives the space more personality. I would definitely stop in again to try more of the menu. read more
The place is small, clean, and decorated nicely. The staff are friendly and helpful. I brought my 2 boys, who are picky eaters, so I was not expecting them to be eating. The staff was were very nice with ordering and helpful in choosing something my kids would like. We ordered egg rolls, mango and strawberry smoothies and the Hũ Tiéu Nam Vang- without liver and heart. It was my first time trying quail egg. When the food arrived, My sons were intrigued and tried everything. My younger son loved the pho, smoothie and egg rolls and said he wanted to come back everyday. The food was delicious. So far so good. Hu Tieu Kho is one of my favorite things to eat and not a lot of places have it or do it right. So I was so surprised and excited to see it on the menu. I thought it was great! Enough sauce and good amount of toppings. They even give you a whole bone in the side broth. Which is a bonus since most places would just give you a scoop of broth and call it a day. My bf also like his Pho. He is a Pho Ivy fan boy so it's so hard to get him to try another pho place and not compare to Ivy but I think he likes it enough to get him to try something else. Menu is not big by anymean and I think that is a good thing. You don't get choice paralysis. You know what you get when you visit. Easy. Quick, simple food that taste good. read more
One of the owners told us that they just opened three months ago. That explains why their menu was not that extensive. Understandable. For me, I thought the broth was delicious. They gave a lot of the meats in the Pho Beef Combination that I have chosen. I personally don't need that much meat but maybe others would like it a lot. We also ordered their egg roll too and that was also good. I personally liked it. It does have its potential. The wait help was nice and very friendly. read more
