Okay, so I'll admit I was very disappointed with our first trip here, mostly due to service. After seeing my review, the manager was gracious enough to give us a store credit to try it again. That was an impressive move so me and my husband thought, totally let's go back. Maybe it was just an off day, people have those sometimes. So we went back today for lunch. There were only 3 other tables with people seated when we got there for lunch so we thought- yes, awesome, let's get some good thai and get back to work! But...no. It took us 80 minutes from when we walked in to when we left. 11:30-12:50. Ridiculous....especially when there was only 3 other tables and literally like 10 people working. My crab pad thai was swimming in oil and was extremely under seasoned. It was missing that quintessential punch of sweet, tangy, sour....you know how pad thai is supposed to taste. Husbands ginger orange chicken had a great flavor but was really dry and was kinda lukewarm when it got delivered to the table like it had been sitting for awhile. I wanted so hard to like this place, but there seems to be no regard for people's time during lunch hour. It is inexcusable to wait so long for a simple noodle dish and some chicken, especially when they turn out to be rather dull in flavor. I ate enough noodles to not be hungry but still had a lot leftover so my husband got a box for it. He's going to eat it tomorrow out of guilt so we don't waste so much food, but we won't be coming back. read more

Very Pleasantly surprised. I've always wanted to try their Hainanese Chicken Rice at their Cart; however it was closed the day we went and we decided to give their brick-and-mortar a try. We went on labor day and were surprised that they could fit us in despite the long lines. Started with the crab cakes. Really great balance of textures between the crust and stuffing; however its the plum sauce that really makes the dish. Only note was that we found crab shells; which does show that they use real crab and lots of it. My wife had their pad thai, which she said was one of the best she's ever had. It balanced protein and noodles perfectly and was flavored wonderfully. I had their green curry which was also super flavorful, although I wish they had a little more chicken. read more

Ordered the Pad See Ew and Fried Rice with Shrimp and it was very delicious! The portions are pretty big (which is great!) but they're big enough to be able to order them to share with the whole table if you'd like. You can choose to add whatever protein you would like, I had the shrimp and it was prepared perfectly. I definitely recommend this place! read more

Wow! Impressed with this place just from the little amount of interaction I've had with them. They are close by the the hotel we are staying in due to the storm/no power situation. I'm normally not a fan of Beaverton (too much traffic) but this place is a gem. They have a great online website which is quick and easy to navigate so it made ordering pain free. They were a quick drive from the hotel and we paid in advance. This is so great for the less contact that we all want/need now. My compliments to the chef the spices and seasonings were perfection and oh so good. I like them so much I created a profile so I can order from them again. I'll definitely be back again with out the pandemic or snow storm. read more

Unfortunately this is my 3rd visit here and I thought the service would have been better. IT WAS NOT!!! I am Thai and ordered papaya salad THAI STYLE. It came out Laos style which is very different. I had to find my waiter to explain to him that it wasn't the right dish and he assured me that it was. That's like telling me that it's not raining outside in the Pacific Northwest and those are sundrops. I was irritated but ended up ordering another item. I had to find our server three different times to get his help when there were only four tables filled with people. That is absolutely ridiculous. I think there should be some retraining involved with their waiters and waitresses, because when I did finally find him, three of the employees were sitting there looking on their phones, laughing and having a good time instead of being on the floor and helping the customers! Just because people know you as a good place in the past, doesn't mean that you aren't supposed to continue with that service and customer service with new people. I found it very disappointing and I hope that they do some retraining and work on their custom service for the future because this place is not a place I would recommend to anybody read more

I've been to a lot of Thai restaurants in Tigard/Beaverton area and thai bloom consistently is one of my favorites! They have a wide variety of food options and the flavors are perfect! They always come out hot and everyone in my group was satisfied with their choices. The service was quick and our waitress was engaging and kind. Even their leftovers heat up well and taste good! I've been here three times over the past two years. The first time was dine-in. The food was great, the service was great. The second time was take-out and the food was good. Today was the third time and likely the last. The service for ordering take-out was great and fast however I ordered curry and the to-go container was so small (16 oz!). Half of what most other restaurants would provide (32 oz) for even a dine-in meal and for $16!! Very disappointed. *update to review since I can't reply to the business owner directly* Dear Vanessa, Are you saying that a lunch portion is smaller and the price as it would be dinner? If so, that's shocking because that would make a dinner entree more? The logic is not sound, but this has solidified my decision to never return as there are plenty of other reasonably priced options in the area with great food and great service. Outdoor seating is great! So spacious. The menu was easy to navigate and had lots of options. We got two appetizers (fried tofu, and a soup). Tofu was sweet and not that good. Soup was okay, I didn't like it. The drinks were tasty! I got a tamarind drink and it was tasty. My fiancée got a beer on tap. The entrees were great and a good size! I got drunken noodles spicy level 3 and I wanted them to be more spicy (I love spicy). My fiancée got Thai noodles with tofu and he liked it a lot. The waitress (Biri) was super attentive, helpful, and kind. We also had another waiter come and check on us, the staff was friendly. I went back for their drunken noodle two weeks later and they are just as tasty! I also got their yellow curry and it was so good! It also had a bit of a bite, which I loved. Most noticeable was after Sam Saisiri and his wife separated from the business in December 2016 to go back to Thailand. We always enjoyed different dishes at the restaurant but we measured the quality consistency on our go to dishes: Spicy Wings, Larb Salad, Pad Thai, Pad Sew Ew, Drunken Noodles, Chicken Basil, Penang Curry. .... Noodles are soggy and sometimes overwhelming with sauce. Chicken in Basil usually came with pieces of sliced chicken but lately it can with ground chicken. ...... We are hoping this is a temporary setback and will continue to support the business as we enjoy taking families and friends as well as out of town guests whenever Thai cuisine is chosen. read more

Every time I come to Beaverton, Oregon I order from this restaurant and have them make the pad see ew at the top level spice. This is the only place I've ever eaten at the spice level is off the charts, and I usually can only eat half at a time and eat other half the next day. I am not sure why it has taken me this long to write a review. I have been here at least 1/2 dozens times. That alone should tell you I like it. over our anniversary last year was in May, when nearly nothing was open. Thankfully, Thai Bloom was offering to go. We picked our hot order up and had a picnic in the park. We seemed to be the envy of all the passerby's. I still remember how yummy the Crab Pad Thai was. I hope that is back on the menu again soon. This week, we got to return to their dining room, and have a cocktail. This was my first time having the Siam Tea. The presentation was gorgeous, and the drink delicious. I worried it might be too sweet, but it had a nice balance of flavors. This was our first time dining in the back of the restaurant. I think if I would return I would request the front dining room, as it has more ambience. Aside from that everything was great. Service was efficient, food and drinks were delicious. read more

Thai Bloom has been one of our fav Thai spots since moving to the area in 2012. My kids love the pad Thai, I am a super fan of the Spicy Basil fried rice. The delicate crispy texture of the basil leaves is so delectable! I am thrilled they also have a food cart at the pod on Rose Biggi in Beaverton. The food cart hours are a little hit or miss and my kids are always bummed when their cart is not open. read more

Environment: I think it's pretty big. We went to the left side of the restaurant. I'm not sure if the right side has more seating or it's just the bathroom. I have a feeling there's probably more seating. Staff: our main server came over a couple times but the person pouring water came numerous times. Food: I ordered pork pad Thai. First of all, the presentation was nice. Okay, moving on...the sauce was very watery..or should I say, very oily. The bottom of my plate was a puddle of oil. Pad Thai is dry and I have never seen such oily pad Thai before. The sauce was overly sweet and strong. I literally ate no more than five bites, felt full and didn't want more. I went home and added extra noodles to dilute and reduce the amount of sweetness. Also, the price was expensive. Other restaurants with pad Thai is cheaper in my opinion. Anyways, there are other yummy Thai places that I can go to. This place is good once in a lifetime (for Pad Thai at least) read more

I got the Miang Kum appetizer which is a build your own Thai spinach leaf wraps with fresh shallots, ginger, lime, toasted peanuts, dried shrimp, coconut flakes, and Thai chili served with a sweet chutney-style sauce! I loved this dish because you can be creative and make your own wraps however you want! I also got the Shrimp Pad Thai and Beef Massamam Curry; two dishes I always get whenever I go eat Thai food. I loved the sweet/savory flavor of the noodles, and the beef in the curry was so tender. And of course my meal wouldn't be complete without a Thai Iced Tea to wash everything down! read more

I want to start by saying I will definitely be back. I can't give it a 5 star because there were a couple of things that weren't exemplary. We started with some cocktails: - Koi Sumai Cosmo - This was mine. My husband thinks I'm insane, but I thought it tasted like fried chicken. I decided that my palate is just so advanced and I can't expect others to understand. - Sangria (Red) - my husband got this and he liked it. Now for the food... - Pineapple fried rice - My husband gets this anytime he's out to Thai. He liked it, said it was good, but not the best he's ever had. - Moo Grop Stir-Fry - On the fall/winter menu and a terrible name. When I see pork belly, I'm automatically drawn to it. Yellow curry had beautiful chunks of veggies and chicken with the perfect amount of curry sauce Sauce had just enough kick to it ( I am a wimp!). Basil rice with chicken was crunch and yummy ! The crunchiness was new for me and very satisfying!, cubed chicken cooked soft and tasty! Service is always superb , our waiter seemed to just show up at the right moment! I ordered Panang Red Curry with fried tofu and veggies and Green Curry with the same. I must say it was outstanding. I eat Thai food all over the city. During the pandemic there were challenges with staffing at this location, some of my orders were incorrect. I contacted the restaurant and they emailed back right away. But today... WOW... this was some great food. There were probably 6 - 8 different veggies and the fried tofu (which was soft inside ++ not over-fried) was perfect. The green curry has young coconut meat, which I think is unique to Thai Bloom's green curry, regardless - it's a treat. read more

Had to go to a nearby Starbucks and ask for a fork. Reheated my food and it wasn't very good. The noodles were overcooked so the entire thing became a mushy mess. The drunken noodles came with perfectly fried tofu, getting the pad thai Bloom BOOM style brought some real heat and the papaya salad rounded the meal with some freshness and acid. My family and I went to Thai Bloom to celebrate a birthday, none of us had been there before, but I've been wanting to try it for sometime, and I'm glad we did, everything was delicious! I myself had one of the winter specials, some type of a Thai brisket dish, it was fantastic, the meat was so tender, and they served some really good cocktails! We enjoy coming here because we know what we're going to get, it's consistent every time, the service is friendly, and very rarely do we have to wait for a table (there always seems to be bar seating available in a pinch). I'm kind of used to ordering a "heat" level - but typically we order and it comes as it comes. We usually end up ordering the "spice rack" which nowadays is 3-4 different small cups of chili oil, dried chilis, and Thai green chili sauce. My favorite Thai restaurant. I've been going here for years! This is one of my favorite date spots with my boyfriend. I usually get their drunken noodles or pad see ew while my boyfriend gets the pad thai. I also like their noodle soups during cold days-great comfort food. I find their spice levels quite mild. I also love their happy hour! I usually get some noodles, calamari and their basil chicken. This place can get pretty packed during peak meal times! Love how they offer outdoor dining.
