Very nice staff. Clean restaurant and fresh food. We both had Pad Thai and Thai ice tea. Both were excessively sweet, distractingly so, and the Pad Thai was bland. As someone from the Bay Area, if you're used to more authentic Thai food, I would not recommend. read more

I absolutely love this place. This may sound weird but I'll say that every time I'm coming down with a sore throat I get an order of their yellow curry with noodles and I feel better! They have many different types of curry from yellow, red, green which contains bamboo, and they even have a pineapple! I always order a curry so my fives go to that! And my usual order also has their Boba drinks! I would recommend ordering it without any ice (when you get more too I love the cold mixture mixed with the warm freshly made Boba) My favorite choices of their Boba drinks are taro, and mango. Another favorite I like to order is their fresh shrimp spring rolls. So far I think they are the only ones in Paso Robles that makes them. Served with the delicious peanut butter sauce for dipping. Once, I ordered the barbecue platter and I did not love it to continue to order again. read more

Best Thai food in town. Friendly, competent service. Great portion size of excellent food. We eat here at least once a week. We love being able to just grab our takeout order and go. If you want to eat in, the place is always clean and well organized. read more

Love this place. Pho, chicken curry, cashew nut chicken all delicious. Very reasonable priced and the service is really good. Bummer Pepsi products, not a fan. Tea it is then. Order in advance pay when you get there when your food is ready. Love it. read more

I'm confused about this Thai restaurant. Went here instead of the one on Park St based on reviews. We ordered Pad See Ew, Beef BBQ Plate and Thai BbQ Plate and Thai Iced Tea. The food didn't taste Thai to me. It tasted more Chinese? Not even . The chicken was boneless and tasted like Teriyaki. I think everything tasted like a Hybrid. Portions are ok though. My Thai tea was served after we finished our dinner . Can't wait to get back to So Cal to get authentic Thai food. read more

Paso Robles is lucky to have 3 Thai restaurants within 1 mile of downtown. All three are good but I like Thai BBQ & Combo when I need a quick taste of Thai. It's nothing fancy - just good Thai food. I love the red and yellow curry as well as the Pad Thai noodles. In fact, Ive never had a bad meal here. Prices are reasonable especially their lunch specials. read more

Yum! We got a few things to try, I really enjoyed my eggplant and tofu. The pork pad see yew was really tasty. My husband liked the orange chicken, but he said it was more of a fried chicken with the light orange flavor than the typical orange chicken - he still liked it but noted it was quite different than any other place he'd had it. He said he would still order again. Also got the chicken wanton soup. Portion sizes were good, and we got it delivered with GrubHub. We'll be ordering again! read more

Was in Paso for a bike ride and wine and picked up a to-go dinner to eat in my hotel room nearby. I have to say that this was one of the most, if not *the* tastiest Thai food I've had. It was delicious and I would not hesitate to order from them again. We had drunken noodles with vegetables and bbq chicken. Service was also good and friendly and price was reasonable especially for the quality. I don't know if I would eat in there because the dining room is nothing special....it's kind of a hole in the wall joint. But oh man....yummy. Even cold leftovers were scrumptious. I almost never rate things a 5 so I really liked it! read more

A nice stop to fill the craving for Thai food as we passed through town. We got the Paso plate ( BBQ beef and drunken noodles) -- It was good but lacked the spiciness I expected, was on the 'sweet' side. Tom Kha soup -- which we did not enjoy because there was large a amount of what seemed to be fish sauce in it and the creaminess was missing that I am used to. But it did have loads of mushrooms and chicken, so a plus for that. Larb chicken salad, which was the highlight but still seemed overly sweet and I had to add extra chili sauce to it. The service was excellent, Covid abiding and there were tables outside to enjoy your meal. Everything was take out only. I was disappointed by the timid use of spices on all the dishes. I usually have trouble with Thai food because it is too spicy. Thai BBQ and Combo suffered from a lack of spice issue making everything seem sweet. I am assuming that is why they included the extra chili sauce so we could spice things up. Would I return? If I am ever in the area and crave a quick Thai food fix.... yes. I would know to ask for things to be spicier and I would ask about the Tom Kha soup because it just seemed like an batch that was 'off'. Unfortunately, we were traveling and were too far away to return the soup. read more

If you're used to good, authentic Thai food, this is not the place for you! Our food was extremely sweet and just didn't taste right. It honestly tasted more like Chinese food. Go to Basil in Paso, so much better. read more

I'm so glad we stopped by at]0 this place when we visited Paso Robles for Sensorio. So, when you're visiting the area and craving for some Asian foods or something to keep you warm, I'd totally recommend this place! Here's my review: Food: 5/5 Curry noodles is so bomb! It's pretty unique since I've never had curry with noodles/soup before. The mild taste is perfect! We also ordered mix 101 combo (fried rice, chicken, beef, vegetables, with 3 pot stickers) which is pretty good too and it's a lot! It has a decent amount for 2 people! We've tried their beef pho as well, which is okay, the beef is well cooked and they gave us extra broth! Service: 5/5 If you're in a hurry or really hungry, then you won't regret going to this place. Their service was super quick! After ordering, I went to the bathroom for a little bit and when I came back to our table, I was surprised the foods were there already! The server even cleaned the table before we sat down Staff: 5/5 Shout out to the person at front/server, Gabbie, she was spectacular. She was very patient even though it took us few minutes looking through the menu and there were other customers behind us. She even handed us the menu instead of looking the menu on the wall. She also did an amazing job on checking us out if everything is good. I can tell the staffs working at the back are pretty awesome too since they were pretty quick and foods came out really good. Fyi: sorry, I didn't take good pictures of the food. I was hungry, so I took a couple bites then thought of dropping a review. WARNING!!!!!! Only come here for takeout!!!! Food is delicious. I'll give it that. However eating in is probably gonna be the worst experience you will ever have. Don't come here for eat in. And here's why. -Server will not sit you down. -Will not serve cup of water (unless you ask) almost choked on food to understand the policy. (Expected water to come sooner or later. But was wrong.) ALSO cup is as small as you make a fist. (With too much ice) probably 2 gulps and its gone. Will have to ask for more which irritates the person. -You have to go up to counter to order food. -THEY MAKE YOU PUT YOUR PLATES AWAY.... read more

This meal was a big disappointment. We have Thai BBQs back home in SoCal and thought it would be the same. The Thai bbq chicken was more like boiled chicken. And I had never had pad see eww that was wet and saucy. It also does not have Chinese broccoli, but instead it was regular broccoli. The pad Thai lacked carrots and bean sprouts and had a strong fish sauce taste. Not recommended. read more

Ok, for all of the visitors from north and south who slam this place, you have to understand this town is a bit of a food desert*. I am giving this place 4 stars simply because they have pho. Meaning: I don't have to drive 200 miles to get a bowl of Vietnamese noodle soup, OR learn how to make it from scratch. There is ONE place in SLO that has about the same quality of desperation pho. ONE PHO JOINT IN A COLLEGE TOWN. Do you get what I'm sayin yet, OC, SJ, LA, SD, SF people?!? Be kind to the locals here who'd like to eat something _other_ than chicken fried steak or burritos when we go out. I like me a good diner or taqueria, but there is ZERO VARIETY here. This is literally all we've got. Ok, now that I've gotten that offa my chest, the food here is decent, not great, but totally serviceable. The CenCo tax is in full effect. *no variety. Nada, zilch, none. Anywhere else this'd be a 3, but...food desert. read more

When it comes to vinegar-strong condiments, I don't mess around! Deli Pickles, Kimchi, Whole Grain Mustard, I don't discriminate. So when I saw the gallon-sized bucket of sambal and quart of pickled jalapeño, I already new that Thai BBQ + Combo (TBC), a brand-new Thai restaurant in Paso, was my kind of place! A small order-at-the-counter style joint, TBC is as casual and welcoming as they come! The service was on point and staff members were very friendly! They had a vast menu including eclectic, non-Thai, items such as beef pho and orange chicken. Not sure how I feel about the pan-asian concept; regardless, we stuck with traditional thai fare. Spicy Pad Khe Mao with Tofu...or at least that is how I ordered it. The salt level was right; however, I would definitely not say that it was spicy. That's okay! I have a gallon of sambal and a patch of peppers at my discretion! This meal was not only delicious, but it was a generous portion for the price! My wife ordered Ba Mee Heang, her go-to item. The pork was really good; however, she mentioned that, as she worked her way down, there was an overwhelming level of salt in the sauce. I can neither confirm or deny this allegation, yet it didn't taste like a heart attack to me! I am thankful to have an über-casual thai restaurant in town! I'll add it to my [VERY] short list of places to order takeout from. read more

I've never experienced a Thai place that didn't know how to make Pad Thai. It can be best described as "soupy" and the sauce it was doused in tasted like an exotic ketchup. I had taken it to go so when I got home I could only eat a fourth of it before I threw it away. AVOID THE PAD THAI. This was the second time I had come here. The first time I had gotten the yellow curry and it was fine so at least I know not everything is bad. I'll be trying other Thai places in town before going back here, however. read more

Love this little place in Paso. Staff is very friendly, has great service and food is always so good! We've been coming here for takeout for a couple years now and have never had a bad meal. My ONLY critique, is that I wish they would cook their potatoes (that come in the curries) a bit longer, as the last few times I have gotten it, the potatoes have been crunchy :/ read more

Good food at a good value. Sauces and ticr were a highlight. The veggies cooked pretty close to perfection. We both had beef entres, which were flavorfull but maybe just a bit overcooked and cheey for our taste. Pretty common with this thin sliced stuff. Takeout is quick and easy. The staff is friendly and appreciative. Good Thai food. We had several of the noddle dishes and they were right on. Chicken larb is a little sweet than I'm used to, but really good. We prefer takeout so restaurants don't get gouged by the delivery companies. read more

I had the chicken pho and pot stickers today. Both were quite good. I love ph, and although I've had a bit better, this is the best around here since the little Vietnamese lady downtown gave up her shop and cafe and retired, moving back to Vietnam with her American husband, so I'm glad this place makes ph. Just a wee place with no ambiance to speak of, so most opt to take out, but the service is fine and the food's quite nice. read more

Wow! The food was always really good but the new owners have really upped the customer service level! The friendly energy level is top notch and a great place to eat in Paso without having to go downtown. The Pad Thai is our family's absolute favorite! My wife and I ordered the seafood pasta with a cup of clam chowder. The Clam chowder was okay, and the seafood pasta was pretty heavy. It's a pricier restaurant, but still worth the experience.

Now, let me tell you why! While in Paso for my wife's weekend birthday getaway, we had such fun time casually strolling the streets with no where to be. While window shopping, going in and out of the various shops, and just meandering through the downtown area.... We suddenly came across a little business called: The Spice of Life From the outside, it was pretty obvious what we were about to get into... ----Spices----Herbs----Teas---- Hey, they had me at Spices, but the rest is what kept me from leaving there anytime soon. Upon entering this quaint little shop, we were immediately immersed into a world that I Love. Spices, Spices and more Spices!!! Yeah, I'm that guy that at home, not in public of course, that will put a little spice on my hand and lick it off (to test it of course). I know, but I'm just a spice freak, what can I say! Yeah, give me a good lemon pepper, a blended steak seasoning or even a Kansas City Bbq Rub and I'll gladly give it the "Lance Lick of Approval". Yeah, I'm a Spice Man, & I'm not afraid to admit it. And let me tell you, this place has got spices!! Yeah, there are Jars and Jars, & more Jars of the finest, most incredible spices you can dream of. But on Top of the Spices... There are Oils, Vinegars, Teas, Tea Accessories, Herbal Supplements, Books, and More! And with all that shopping... I was so impressed by their delicious 100% plant base menu. It was so fresh and bursting with flavor. The owner Lori and her staff were so friendly and helpful with picking out teas we'd like. I can't wait until my toddler is a little older so we can have cute tea party dates here. :) Highly recommend for any special occasion!

Food was taking a really long time (also expensive for what it is), the person taking the order at the counter wasn't that nice to my family that I was translating for nor was the server. After people around us were served that ordered after us, I said "I want my fkn fries" at a totally normal volume to my family privately, and the server (owners gf) heard me (my bad) came over with the owner to scold me lol. Which is crazy bc the owner has cursed at people and called them names in responses to reviews here! He's been so nasty to any low reviews. I tried to post his responses but Yelp flagged it or he got it removed idk. Also I hate leaving one star reviews you can see my history so this was truly a unique experience and treatment.
