We've ordered food here a few times and even though the food isn't the best is what's closest to us with thai food which we love some times. However today was the worst experience we've had so far, we ordered pad thai and got a very soupy mix of bean sprouts with tofu and oil, very little actual noodles. We proceeded to call the restaurant to complain and got a not so friendly response. The green curry also doesn't taste good. The only decent part was the fried rice. Very disappointed overall, next time we want thai will wait until we are in an area where there are some nice restaurants that specialize on it. Won't be ordering here for sure. read more

The food is always on time and tastes delicious. They're one of the few Thai places in my area and I can always count of them.

Not sure about the negative reviews but I've had nothing but positive (and delicious lol) experiences from ordering here. Delivery always come quickly and food is still pretty hot when it gets here. I recommend trying their glass noodles with tofu or their scallion pancake. Great Thai tea too ! Definitely give this place a shot if you're in the mood for some flavorful noodles read more

Absolutely disgusting. I would never order from here ever again. I ordered through Uber eats. I stated in the notes to not forget to add beef and to make it spicy. Well guess what, it wasn't spicy and they charged me $3.00 extra for extra beef. I never added the word extra. Sometimes when you order anything with beef or shrimp, they lack with the protein. Sometimes even adding like 5 pieces. Which is why I said don't forget to add beef. I never stated once EXTRA. This restaurant is UNPROFESSIONAL. If you were to add an extra fee, please call the customer to clarify. You cannot just assume on someone's order. I called the restaurant and the lady started yelling at me saying I WAS WRONG. I asked to speak to the manager and her voice got lower. She had no idea of the managers whereabouts apparently. Horrible customer service. I found this place pretty disappointing. It was slim pickings for good thai delivery in this neighborhood but think I will seek thai experiences elsewhere. The calamari was bland. The pad thai noodle were gooey and the sauce tasted like cheap, fast food sauce. The beef from the drunken noodle dish was way too chewy. I felt bloated and unsatisfied with the meal overall. Take out from Thai Basil lunch special menu-Pai Thai noodle- $7.50 (included "salad", spring roll & soda). Mango chicken-$8.50 (included same). The salad was just lettuce and some strands of purple cabbage. The salad dressing was carrot ginger sauce. I have tried other pai thai, this one is the least favorite. Comparing this place with other local Bklyn Thai place, the take out container is bigger, the spring roll is also bigger. The Mango chicken was a bit better in taste than the pai thai. Presentation wise, it was no difference- some mango stripes with veggies. I think I might have to go back to our local Thai place. Extra star for delivery. First time ordering from here. It's basically fast food Thai. Tom yum is watery, and taste far from authentic Thai Tom yum. Also ordered pad Thai, fried chicken wings, as calamari salad- all are edible. Sticky rice with mango was supposed to be a treat, it was actually just regular rice with coconut cream. very disappointing to be called sticky rice, they didn't actually use the proper "sticky rice". This place hit the spot for me again. My husband and I decided to place take out. This time my husband ordered Mongolian beef (juicy, perfect blend of spices and tender meat) he was very happy with his meal. I, of course, ordered curry duck. I just got my takeout delivery to me and the food looks really good and tastes like food in Thailand before. I got the Thai tea pad Thai with beef and also drunk noodles with shrimp. This is real Thai and spicy the way I cook Thai in my wok I got the Thai crispy duck curry sauce. It is so good with vegetables and comes with rice . I just got the steamed dumplings for 5$ . They are delicious . You get 7 for $5 . I think it's overpriced . I ordered their general tsos chicken I try it hoping it would be as good as the Thai dishes. Not everything here is good but when you find the good stuff it's totally worth it. My favorite three dishes are the drunken noodles (I usually get no vegetables), the Mongolian beef, and the pineapple fried rice. The staff are usually rude and won't deliver unless you order more than $50 worth of food. As a rule I always stay away from meat in most stir-fry places unless I dig in deep to see their records in the health dept website\app, combining that with reviews and pictures is usually the process of how I make my decision. Ordered takeout from here because I was feeling lazy one night and did not want to change and get out of the house. I ordered fried calamari, drunken noodles, and pad see yu. It said they were going to deliver around 30-40 minutes and that was for sure on point. I was happy to receive my food on time and my tummy was even happier :D The fried calamari were not as crispy when I ate it, but understandable since it had to be deliver. However, it was still yummy. I only wished they gave me more sauce because one tiny cup of sauce is not going to be enough for the entire takeout order. Drunken noodles was delicious! At first, I was craving for pad see yu, but I ended up eating most of the drunken noodles because it was sooo goood. It was not super spicy which made it easier for me to eat all of it. Haha. Pad see yu was good, but I thought the drunken noodles were better. I had a lot of leftover of pad see yu. The noodles were a bit dry, which is probably the reason why I didn't really eat much of it. Also, I wished they cut the chicken a bit smaller as well, but my pieces of chickens were huge and I sort of picked them all out because I didn't really want to eat such big pieces. All items ordered were neatly put together. The delivery person was also very nice. Suggestion, the crab meat rangoon was yummy! The delivery came in time, which was good. The food however, was either too bland or way too salty. You ask, How does one make Thai food bland --with all the seasoning and spices? I can't choose 3.5 so I'm giving it a four. The mango chicken was a bit underwhelming but there appeared to be en entire fresh mango cut up into the dish. My husband had the mango rice stir fry and he liked it a lot. The sticky rice was less sticky and sort of liquid-y but again the mango was excellent. The freshest Thai food you'll find! I moved to Queens and I absolutely miss this place. All the dishes are great but we tend to lean on the crab rangoon and mango chicken. You can taste that the food is fresh and not bland or worse re-fried. They have always nailed their delivery time to 15mins or less and the key is when I spoke to the delivery guy is to order after their peak hours or after 9pm. The shrimp was a tad overdone on the pad thai but delicious none the less. The NON Lunch portions are pretty big. My boyfirend and I always have leftovers. Not real Thai food ....the cooks try their best but it's jus awful. The drunk man noodles were a weird dark brown color and not of authentic thai flavor at all. And the pineapple fried rice with shrimp was okay.Jus rice vegetables and pieces of pineapple with peanuts on top. The shrimp was cooked good and they do put a good amount of shrimp. Ordered yesterday for the first time. The soup Lemongrass Tom Yom was YUMMY! BUT! they give you 2 small shrimps (shame) Then i ordered Green Papaya Salad..it was such a disappointment. Lettuce was not fresh...tomatoes tasted bad...overall the salad was just disgusting. my coworker ordered pad thai - she said it was good but the noodles they used were too thick. i would say that its overpriced for the servings and freshness of the food. would not order again p.s. after their food my stomach growled like crazy read more
