From the moment you walk in the esthetics of the restaurant makes you feel like your in Asia. Very fast customer service. We came for the lunch special and was pleasantly surprised at the portions. The mango sticky rice was really good especially with the coconut sauce on top. This will be one of my Thai restaurants in Brooklyn and will visit again.

Appetizers were very tasty and well seasoned. The only complaint was the drunken noodles were a little bit salty. Good service and cute ambiance . Would recommend this restaurant.

We came to this place since it was close by and my mom wanted Thai... what a great find! The service is so friendly, attentive and fast. That's evident from the moment you enter. Also noticeable is the beautiful decor... perfect backdrop for photos at any table. Most importantly the food is delicious. I ordered Thai iced tea which is my favorite drink and it was just perfect. We got crab rangoon's and beef curry. SO good and one entrée was plenty for us both. Highly recommend.

Great atmosphere! We made a reservation for 3 but they let us to sit in the nicest couch sheet by the wall ;) So comfortable and I loved it hanging there. Ordered 3 dishes and the potions were satisfying! Thai chicken wings was great. We got Papaya salad and Pad se wee but I should have asked if they have Thai seasoning for the table. Because I just felt like, needed some more kicks and flavor. However, they are friendly and efficient! Will check out another dishes :)

Excellent new Thai restaurant where Thai Farm Kitchen used to be. Beautiful ambience, attention to detail, friendly staff. The vegetarian entree options are pad Thai tofu or curries. There are also appetizers (eg dumplings) and soups. Unfortunately the house sauce has oyster sauce mixed in, so the other rice and noodle dishes are not vegetarian (also fish sauce in some of those). The music isn't too loud to talk, and the service is fast. They offer a discount if you pay cash! Sit here and enjoy, or order to go.

My husband and I went yesterday for their soft opening and were super excited that a new Thai restaurant opened where Thai Farm Kitchen used to be. The decor is very lovely, lots of green decor and warm lighting. The staff was very welcoming and nice. The food was very delicious as well, I'm not sure if it's the same chef as we didn't get to ask but the food quality is as great as Thai Farm Kitchen's. The menu is also pretty much the same, would love to see new items on the menu soon! That being said, their pad thai is consistently delicious! Our Thai iced teas came with cute bear ice cubes and for their soft opening they had complimentary dessert, we chose the mango mousse which was light and sweet. Overall, we were very content with the food and service! Will be coming back soon

New Thai restaurant opened in Brooklyn Thai Farm Kitchen closed, and Jaew Thai Cuisine opened up on the same location this week in Kensington, Brooklyn, NYC. They did some minor renovations lending towards larger groups, brighter colors, and more of an open space. 10% off during their soft open. Had the chicken pad Thai, chicken green curry, and duck spring rolls. We enjoyed the food, but didn't love it. Felt like it was tailored towards non Thai eaters and a bit bland for our spiced up tastes. Staff was very friendly and spot on. Our glasses were never empty. They gave us a complimentary dessert. They've got a digital wait list when you walk in and a loyalty program. The credit card fee is 4%. 2 blocks from the subway and in front of a bus stop. We will try again later this month at lunch, trying their lunch specials.

Nested in Kensington area of Brooklyn, this gem is a must if you are near by; since it's redesigned under new mgmt it's been taking the community by storm. Love the ambiance and service is engaging to your needs. The menu is filled with amazing dishes and also bolts a great lunch special as well. I tried one of my favorite dishes, the Lamb Shank in Massaman Curry. My go to of course is the Drunken Noodles (Phad Kee Mao). I will definitely be back and try something new!

I've been here a few times already, and I have to say the food is absolutely delicious. This place is definitely a must-visit Thai spot. The Lamb Shank in Massaman Curry is highly recommended, and the chive cake is a must-try appetizer. The Thai iced tea is adorable with its bear-shaped ice cube. The interior is charmingly decorated, and the staff are incredibly friendly and kind. I'll definitely be back again soon!!

Our group of 4 started with a bottle of Pinot Grigio and a few appetizers to share, namely: Som tum papaya salad and dumplings curry. For the main entree, my eyes caught the attention of clay pot mix-fried rice with shrimp, chicken, sweet sausage, and my partner chose shrimp pad thai. Nothing really stood out with the dishes; I found it to be a bit Americanized, having eaten in so many Thai restaurants around New York City. Overall, we enjoyed our dinner here; our food came in timely fashion, and the customer service is good as well, but it's probably not your place if you are seeking a more authentic Thai-style cooking.

PLEASE get the mango stick rice cocktail omg it was gone in like 5 sips because it was so good. The tuna ceviche was so refreshing and the sauce had a little kick to it which I absolutely loved! It was like a sprinkle of Thai on a classic tuna ceviche. Note the taro chips are a little thicker than a typical chip! The pork jowl wasn't as crispy as I expected but it was still flavorful and the portion size was huge, considering how it was an appetizer. We got pineapple lychee crispy duck, crab fried rice, and kana crispy pork over rice as our entree. ALL WERE SO GOOD! The curry for the pineapple lychee crispy duck was so creamy and flavorful, with the duck portion being huge and being the perfect texture. I loved that it was crispy and didn't get soggy fast in the curry. The crab fried rice was top tier as there were SO MANY HUGE CRAB PIECES!! You can definitely tell that it had flavors of seafood/crab.. they did not skimp out! And the kana crispy pork over rice was huge portion as well, but note that it was a big strong/saltier than the other dishes. For dessert, the pandan coconut pudding custard was SO yummy. It was warm and so flavorful and creamy!! I fell in love with Brooklyn even more after coming here. Highly recommend!!

Server was friendly but stern and told him he was ordering too many of the spicy dishes - I think he would've been fine though (and we intended to bring home leftovers anyway) so that was a little annoying. I feel differently about Hungry Thirsty. At this point I've been to countless Thai restaurants, and for the most part they've all been fantastic. Compared to all those fantastic meals the flavors here still stand out and I'm excited to read that they're expanding with additional locations. They have a phenomenal and lengthy beer selection, which is fun because it complements the spicy fried dishes quite well. The fried branzino and shrimp and squid in salted duck yolk were very tasty with white rice but the dish that lit up my taste buds was the Kai Jeow Pu- colossal crab omelette. The egg was deep fried in an aromatic oil and filled with fresh, large pieces of crab and served with a phenomenal zesty sauce. The place is tiny and no frills, and our server chafed at my partner for pronouncing a beer on their menu incorrectly, which just added to the experience. I loved it here!

Unfortunately, I have to admit I was pretty disappointed. Most of the dishes, especially the sauces, they were extremely salty! - Beef Tartare "Dine-In Exclusive" -- I'd skip this one. The beef was very dry, and it came with taro chips and greens but no sauce to tie everything together. Definitely not what I expected from a tartare. - Enoki Bloom -- Crispy, perfectly fried enoki mushrooms that I actually enjoyed. The only downside was that it was also very salty. The creamy green sauce on the side helped balance it out. - Crying Tiger -- Another skip for me. The steak was dry, tough and chewy, and the meat itself was pretty bland. The sauce had plenty of flavor, but again, it was way too salty. - Pork Jowl -- Probably my favorite dish of the meal. It was perfectly grilled, tender and flavorful. I'd skip the sauce though since the pork was already delicious on its own. - Crab Curry -- Unfortunately, another very salty dish. I honestly don't know how it got this salty. I was expecting more of the spicy or slightly sweet flavors you normally get from a Thai curry, but the salt completely took over. Very disappointing!!! - Thai Iced Tea -- This was actually really good. Creamy, rich and not overly sweet. The menu changes seasonally, so unfortunately, some of the dishes I had seen online were no longer available when I went. I was really looking forward to trying Tong, especially since it's so close by, but overall the meal just didn't do it for me. I probably wouldn't come back or recommend it based on this experience.
