I was able to pay online and I have the option to even have the option of they deliver my food to me in the parking lot in one of their curbside spots. I'm not sure if that was even a feature at the restaurant or not but at least online it was an option. I opted to do a carry out just in case I wanted to make any changes. After I placed my order, I was told that the order will be ready in about 20 minutes. I ordered the baby back ribs. I have the option of splitting it half-and-half I got one with sauce and another one with a dry rub. It came with two sides but I think was actually three. I got a Caesar salad, a street corn, and also came with fries. The street corn was amazing. And next time I definitely want to order another one. The salad was as expected. And the fries were OK. I wish I had asked for ketchup. Since I've never ordered food to go here, I walked in and one of the workers somewhat nicely told me to go over to the to go area by the bar where the to go sign was. At least now I know there is an actually a separate entrance for to go orders so I don't have to enter from the front door and be put in an awkward situation. There is plenty of parking here in this plaza. I haven't had any issues finding parking but there are usually a couple of spots here and there that I have been able to find given that there are a good amount of cars here.

To be honest, this place wasn't my first choice initially, but after a long day of partying, hunger won out--and I'm so glad it did! The service was impressively fast, which is exactly what you want when you're "hangry" at the end of the night. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful while we loaded up on a spread of a burrito, flautas, and tacos for the group. The food was way better than I expected; the flautas had that authentic, homemade style that hit the spot, and the tacos were solid. My friend finished the burrito with zero complaints, so it's safe to say everyone left happy. They also have a good beer selection to keep the vibes going. The only real downside--and the reason for four stars instead of five--is that they close surprisingly early. It's definitely not a late-night spot, so make sure you head over for an earlier dinner rather than waiting until the end of the night. If you're staying at the Hyatt, this is a must-try!

The complimentary chips were fresh, light, and warm! So delicious, I ate it within minutes with their mild red salsa that was chilled, runny, flavorful, and very very delicious. I love love love their salsa here and we refilled it another time, and they even gave us a container to take to go with a whole bag of FRESH CHIPS AND TOSTADAS. So generous!!! We ordered the chile verde and green aguachiles. The chile verde was absolutely scrumptious, but the meat could've been more tender for sure. It was stewed well and had great flavor but was pretty hard and dry. Their beans and rice was amazing and I couldn't get enough. Aguachiles are one of my favorite foods and I almost always order it if I see it. Their style was beautifully presented, spicy, and refreshing, although I would've liked it a little more chilled and the shrimp could use a little more attention to detail since 2 weren't deveined like the rest. It was definitely more on the raw side but I personally like it that way and I didn't have any stomachaches. It's beautiful on the patio especially during sunset. The chips, salsa, water never stopped flowing. I liked that they had multiple servers and bussers and food runners who all were incredibly kind and friendly. Each time they passed by our table they glanced at our food and drinks to see if we might need anything else before we asked for it. Incredibly thoughtful. When packing up I asked if I could get some salsa to go and she asked if I wanted chips, and I said just tostadas since I had leftover aguachile. She gave me BOTH!! Love it here, would come back a thousand percent.

The line always moves fast and the food comes out quickly too. What compelled me to write this review was because I had a delicious pescado a la diabla, which was a daily special. The fish was a huge portion -- a whole filet with a delicious spicy sauce, perfectly cooked and flaky. The rice and beans are always great, perfectly seasoned and cooked. I also had a passionfruit margarita which was big and well balanced. The salsa bar is very good; the habanero salsa is really tasty but their old version without cream was one of the best salsa I ever had and I'm so sad they don't offer it anymore. It was legitimately spicy. I always love coming here with my friends after a movie so we can discuss the flick over some great mexican food.

The inside has a classic Santa Barbara feel to it and is warm and inviting. They also have a very organized take-out system, and their online ordering is really easy and convenient. The guacamole is fresh and while it's a little pricey, the portion os generous. The steak nachos had toppings spread throughout the chips, not just sitting on top which has been my experience at some other restaurants. The quesabirria special is my go to dish here, the meat is so tender and flavorful!
