My visit today was a let down. They didn't slice the bagel I took to go even though it was listed in my order. Both bagels were baked too long and were tough. The jalapeño and cheddar had a tough exterior , tasty interior, and an inedible bottom (see attached photo). This was the bagel that they forgot to slice. I also ordered a buttered plain bagel with egg. The egg was nicely cooked though it had the taste of a grill that wasn't cleaned properly. Yetz's bagels are the best quality in the area. I hope that this was just an off day. I am looking forward to the opening of the new Goleta location.

These are as close to NY bagels as I've had in all of Southern California. While they're not 100% of the way there, they are close and I appreciated that they cook their eggs on a flat top and not in a microwave. It's also appreciated that the bacon, egg, and cheese isn't $25. A good bacon to cheese ratio. If I lived closer, I'd be back.
Ate the lox bagels and Gaucho bagels with the family on Tday morning. Excellent find! We enjoyed it and the bagels were soft and spongy. Coffee was lukewarm but decent (and better than some other nearby coffee places). We will be back! It was good.
Huge bagels made fresh daily. Yetz's Bagels (often referred to as Yeti's by locals) is a highly-rated New York-style bagel shop in Goleta known for its hand-rolled, boiled, and freshly baked bagels. After gaining a massive following at its original Isla Vista location, it opened a new "outpost" in Goleta known for having some of the best East Coast-style bagels in the area.
A new and fresh pace to get bagels in IV! Yetz's is a nice spot to go and get your day started. Nice chill vibe with limited seating, I recommend just stopping in to get what you want! The staff is always friendly and my food comes out quickly! Their menu is limited, but still satisfying. I have tried their everything bagel with chive schmear, and garlic bagel with jalapeño schmear! Both very tasty. The bagels are super fluffy but have a great chew. The one fault is that I wish they put more cream cheese! I also wish there were more bagel flavor options. Maybe in the future when they are even more established, but for now, pretty good overall!
This bagel shop is THE BEST! Everyone is super friendly. The bagels are made fresh daily. The cafe is amazing! The cafe is clean and well decorated There are many bagels and bagel sandwiches to choose from.
OMGGG I waited an hour and a half for these bagels and they were so worth the try! They were so filling and the flavors all mix together so well. I originally had wanted garlic but they ran out so I got onion and it was amazing! We tried both the Gaucho with pesto and then the salmon one (I forgot the name) and wow wow wow! The Gaucho is definitely very unique because of the pesto!! Glad to have tried this IV staple - 4.5 stars rounded down to 4 :)

Came here through an Elite Event, where we got to meet the owner and learn how to make New York style bagels from scratch PLUS sample their drinks and bagel sandwiches. Highly recommend the Turkey Melt on a garlic bagel AND add egg! Great balance of flavors - the red onion isn't too strong, you get your choice of cheese (I picked Swiss), and then there is a substantial amount of protein. Owner and cashier were SUPER NICE, and there are videos and posters explaining how bagels are made. We got to make 6 bagels to take home Located where Dank Bowl Kitchen was previously (next to Kaiju ramen), this is a fun establishment perfect for a morning pick me up or hangover cure. Coffee, tea, and lemonade also served :)
Yetz's has the most delicious food, welcoming staff members, and good coffee. I was really happy with my experience today I decided to write my first Yelp review JUST for Yetz's. I was greeted with a very welcoming "good morning" and the staff members were genuinely so awesome (shoutout Jorge)! The Deluxe had a generous amount of salmon too! Overall I think the service is amazing and the food is always very good. Yetz's is also the first shop I'm in the rewards/loyalty program for- I get texts for good discounts and deals occasionally and I think it's nice.
I got the green goddess bagel sandwich (everything bagel + hummus). It comes with avocado, tomato, red onion, cucumber, schug sauce, balsamic, and hummus. The bagel was warm and fluffy and there was plenty of avocado. The cucumber was really good and fresh. I really liked the bagel sandwich and would definitely get it again! The store itself is small with two tables inside and two tables outside.

Felt ignored and had to go but I knew something wasn't right with my order.... Not only did they not put any cream cheese on the bagel but they also didn't add any onions. 0/5 star experience. read more

The anticipation had been building for months, and finally I was able to make my way to Yetz's Bagels in Isla Vista, a flavor destination on my list for some time. My visit did not disappoint! I found ADA parking near by. The shop was clean, with seating inside and out. The vibe was chill and the smell of bagels was intoxicating. Upon arrival, I took it as a resounding endorsement that the entire UCSB football team had just placed an order for a plethora of sandwiches. I was delighted to meet Proprietor and Bagel Boiler-Baker Extraordinaire, Daniel. It was with great joy I consumed the best onion bagel and schmear with chives these taste buds have encountered in ages! Looking forward to the second Yetz's Bagels Owner Dan Dunietz says he'll take around 1,000 square feet of what is now laundromat (next to Rusty's and Chipotle in the southeast corner of Storke and Hollister) and convert it into a bagel shop. (The end unit will remain a laundromat.) Production will happen in the new location, with bagels delivered daily to the original Isla Vista shop. But wait, there's more: "I'm planning on installing a large, traditional 'ferris wheel' rotating deck oven along with a large mixer, kettle, and other specialized bagel baking equipment," says Dunietz. "I want to bring a slice of New York here to Santa Barbara in the form of a classic, N.Y. bagel shop --selling lox and other smoked fish by the pound, deli salads, etc. I'm very much in the planning stages, currently working with my kitchen designer to lay out the space. The hope is to get open within eight months." read more
When I say that I want a Bagel Breakfast Sandwich, this is EXACTLY what I am looking for! It was everything and more! I saw their flyer on a light post on campus so I decided to stop by and check them out. Staff was great, friendly, and excited to have a new business that everyone loves. They told me I would love it and they were not wrong! HIGHLY recommend The Gaucho - bacon, egg, cheese, pico de gallo with chipotle mayo. Just every bite was perfect. Came here on a Sunday because the line at Bagel Cafe was out the door, and I'm so glad we did. There was still a line out Yetz's door but it moved fairly fast. We probably ordered our bagels after a 15-20 minute wait in line and got our bagels 10-15 minutes after we ordered. The store gets pretty cramped, with two long tables inside and some outdoor seating. Being relatively new and so busy on a Sunday morning, I didn't think they would accommodate many swaps. But they did! I got the gaucho and subbed bacon with turkey + no cheese. The bagel was perfectly dense and chewy, could've been a little softer. But definitely a great option when you're craving a bagel! read more

Noticing that a fellow friend on Yelp (S/o to Richie D.) had stopped by a new bagel shop in Isla Vista, I knew I had to give it a go. Being from Upstate NY, I grew up with good bagels as a normal part of my breakfast routine. While I've found some bagel places in California that I really enjoy, it did feel like Santa Barbara was lacking a decent bagel spot. Happy to say Yetz's Bagels has addressed this issue. I came at 11 am on a Thursday to get a bagel. I knew I should've came sooner but accepted the consequences of my actions (only garlic and onion bagels were left). I ordered The Classic (egg & cheese) on a garlic bagel! After just a couple of minutes it came out warm and fresh. I drove to Goleta beach with my bagel wafting in the car and dug in once I got a place to sit. It was so good! The bagel itself had a bit too strong of a garlic flavor for my taste (in all fairness I would've ordered a plain) but it was still soft whilst having a bite to it. The egg was perfectly cooked, and tasted legit. I would've liked a bit more cheese and/or butter but overall was very pleased! One of the first things I noticed about the menu at Yetz's was that it's simple -- I love this! Unfortunately, some breakfast places tend to overcomplicate bagel breakfasts but Yetz's options felt spot on. If you're looking for some homemade bagels, Yetz's is a great place to come! Best bagels I've found in this slice of So Cal. I come from a family with roots in NYC, so we can be pretty snobby about our bagels. I've been pretty disappointed with the bagel selection around town, but was excited when this place open. They have a good hand, rolled classic bagel. I also tried one of their sandwiches. I got the Caprese and it was delicious. Will definitely be back when I'm in the area. read more

This has become one of my favorite bagel spots in SoCal. It definitely raises the bar in IV and even the greater SB area. The scrambled eggs in the sandwiches are so soft and fluffy, complementing the dense and chewy bagels very well. My favorite is The Classic with everything bagel as the garlic flavor really comes through and each bite is packed with flavor. I also appreciate that it's wrapped as a good bagel sandwich should - cut in half vertically AFTER wrapping so each side gets its own wrapping. By the way - you can ask for it to be extra toasted if you'd like. read more

Stopped by in the early afternoon on a weekend to see what the long lines were about. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Service was friendly. The bagels were large and fluffy with a nice chew - one of the better ones I've had. However, I don't think they're quite worth the 30 minute wait. read more
I love a bagel sandwich and Yetz's does not disappoint! They have a great spot near Pardall with indoor and outdoor seating. The menu offers bagel sandwiches for breakfast or lunch. I tried the Green Goddess and loved it! Super tasty. Their bagels are delicious. They also have a selection of drink options. The owner is really friendly and accommodating, even when it comes to a large crowd and long lines. read more

Say bye bye to Bagel Cafe. Yetz is so quality! Bagels are REAL bagels. Schmear is perfectly light and creamy. I got a SEC bagel (and added Jalapeño schmear) and a Works bagel both on everything bagels. Both were good but I would get the SEC+ bagel 100/100 times again. That was one of the better bagel sandwich I've ever had. Service was friendly and quick. Location was clean. Only minor improvements would be to add Egg bagels to the menu (and maybe for a change of pace, having a single "sweet" bagel like a cinnamon raisin would also be nice - I prefer that and plain schmear to a plain bagel with fruit schmear). I'm glad to finally have something on this end of SB to keep me from having to go to Jacks for a bagel fix. read more
YUM!! These are the bagels that I grew up on. They are Light and Chewy and have a slight crunch. A touch of salt. Yetz's nailed it. If anybody's been raised on store-bought, packaged bagels, go try the real deal. Thank you Daniel for bringing the past to the present. read more
Finally had the chance to try Yetz and happy to say it lived up to the hype. I got the works (bacon egg cheese) on a garlic bagel. Bagel was super fresh and soft but had a nice crust with good garlic flavor. I prefer my bacon a bit crispier than most so next time I would ask for it extra crispy but overall 10/10. The parking situation is always kind of a nightmare in IV but this place is worth the struggle for sure read more

I have never had a better bagel! We have been to Yetz's Bagels literally every single day this week! I only got a picture the first day because every other time I haven't been able to wait! The bagels are fresh and have amazing flavor!! They are warm when you receive them and the cream cheeses all pair so well! The staff has also been so friendly to us! We will see you guys tomorrow!! read more
