Bacon egg and cheese on an onion bagel.
    Jes D.

These are as close to NY bagels as I've had in all of Southern California. While they're not 100% of the way there, they are close and I appreciated that they cook their eggs on a flat top and not in a microwave. It's also appreciated that the bacon, egg, and cheese isn't $25. A good bacon to cheese ratio. If I lived closer, I'd be back.

Huge bagels made fresh daily. Yetz's Bagels (often referred to as Yeti's by locals) is a highly-rated New York-style bagel shop in Goleta known for its hand-rolled, boiled, and freshly baked bagels. After gaining a massive following at its original Isla Vista location, it opened a new "outpost" in Goleta known for having some of the best East Coast-style bagels in the area.

Bagels are fire but my friend found something that looks like hair, we aren't sure what it is, in his bagel. Tried to email them to ask but couldn't find their email address online or anywhere. Update: It isn't hair. They reached out and explain it's just part of the cooking process, thank you. Great bagels. 5 stars.

A new and fresh pace to get bagels in IV! Yetz's is a nice spot to go and get your day started. Nice chill vibe with limited seating, I recommend just stopping in to get what you want! The staff is always friendly and my food comes out quickly! Their menu is limited, but still satisfying. I have tried their everything bagel with chive schmear, and garlic bagel with jalapeño schmear! Both very tasty. The bagels are super fluffy but have a great chew. The one fault is that I wish they put more cream cheese! I also wish there were more bagel flavor options. Maybe in the future when they are even more established, but for now, pretty good overall!

This bagel shop is THE BEST! Everyone is super friendly. The bagels are made fresh daily. The cafe is amazing! The cafe is clean and well decorated There are many bagels and bagel sandwiches to choose from.

OMGGG I waited an hour and a half for these bagels and they were so worth the try! They were so filling and the flavors all mix together so well. I originally had wanted garlic but they ran out so I got onion and it was amazing! We tried both the Gaucho with pesto and then the salmon one (I forgot the name) and wow wow wow! The Gaucho is definitely very unique because of the pesto!! Glad to have tried this IV staple - 4.5 stars rounded down to 4 :)

Ate the lox bagels and Gaucho bagels with the family on Tday morning. Excellent find! We enjoyed it and the bagels were soft and spongy. Coffee was lukewarm but decent (and better than some other nearby coffee places). We will be back! It was good.

Love this place the bagels are usually fire but not when your plain bagel with plain cream cheese is contaminated with onion .

Came here through an Elite Event, where we got to meet the owner and learn how to make New York style bagels from scratch PLUS sample their drinks and bagel sandwiches. Highly recommend the Turkey Melt on a garlic bagel AND add egg! Great balance of flavors - the red onion isn't too strong, you get your choice of cheese (I picked Swiss), and then there is a substantial amount of protein. Owner and cashier were SUPER NICE, and there are videos and posters explaining how bagels are made. We got to make 6 bagels to take home Located where Dank Bowl Kitchen was previously (next to Kaiju ramen), this is a fun establishment perfect for a morning pick me up or hangover cure. Coffee, tea, and lemonade also served :)

Yetz's has the most delicious food, welcoming staff members, and good coffee. I was really happy with my experience today I decided to write my first Yelp review JUST for Yetz's. I was greeted with a very welcoming "good morning" and the staff members were genuinely so awesome (shoutout Jorge)! The Deluxe had a generous amount of salmon too! Overall I think the service is amazing and the food is always very good. Yetz's is also the first shop I'm in the rewards/loyalty program for- I get texts for good discounts and deals occasionally and I think it's nice.

I got the green goddess bagel sandwich (everything bagel + hummus). It comes with avocado, tomato, red onion, cucumber, schug sauce, balsamic, and hummus. The bagel was warm and fluffy and there was plenty of avocado. The cucumber was really good and fresh. I really liked the bagel sandwich and would definitely get it again! The store itself is small with two tables inside and two tables outside.

The anticipation had been building for months, and finally I was able to make my way to Yetz's Bagels in Isla Vista, a flavor destination on my list for some time. My visit did not disappoint! I found ADA parking near by. The shop was clean, with seating inside and out. The vibe was chill and the smell of bagels was intoxicating. Upon arrival, I took it as a resounding endorsement that the entire UCSB football team had just placed an order for a plethora of sandwiches. I was delighted to meet Proprietor and Bagel Boiler-Baker Extraordinaire, Daniel. It was with great joy I consumed the best onion bagel and schmear with chives these taste buds have encountered in ages! The entire experience was a carbalicious chef's kiss, and I shall return again!

Looking forward to the second Yetz's Bagels Owner Dan Dunietz says he'll take around 1,000 square feet of what is now laundromat (next to Rusty's and Chipotle in the southeast corner of Storke and Hollister) and convert it into a bagel shop. (The end unit will remain a laundromat.) Production will happen in the new location, with bagels delivered daily to the original Isla Vista shop. But wait, there's more: "I'm planning on installing a large, traditional 'ferris wheel' rotating deck oven along with a large mixer, kettle, and other specialized bagel baking equipment," says Dunietz. "I want to bring a slice of New York here to Santa Barbara in the form of a classic, N.Y. bagel shop --selling lox and other smoked fish by the pound, deli salads, etc. I'm very much in the planning stages, currently working with my kitchen designer to lay out the space. The hope is to get open within eight months."

The space had plenty of seating. We ordered the Korean Nashville chicken sandwich, Chicken Parmesan sandwich, Mac and cheese, Cole slaw, baked beans, and banana pudding (not pictured). The Korean Nashville chicken sandwich was super tasty and had a good amount of spice. The chicken was perfectly fried and loved that it had a little asian fusion to it. Was a little thrown off by only one slice of bread being toasted, but it didn't change the overall taste. The chicken parmesan sandwich was on the specials menu, and it did not disappoint! Loved the bread roll it was on, and it was nice that they gave an extra side of marinara to dip. Out of the sides the baked beans were my favorite! Super tasty with bits of bacon. Mac and cheese and cole slaw were both solid. The banana pudding was also amazing! Super fresh and was a generous portion. Will be back!

Very warm, welcoming and professional staff. It was busy and the cashier/waitress handled taking orders, delivering food to tables and kept the customers informed that she would be with them soon and all with a smile. The chicken tenders are tasty, tender and a nice size. Good sauces too. Biscuits are mini biscuits, tasty but expensive for what you get. I would prefer to just pay for a regular size biscuit instead of $10 for 6 mini one-bite biscuits. My main gripe were with the wings. They are a nice size, but not tender and cooked with too much batter. You have to cut into them to take the batter off or else you get a mouthful of batter. Also, the meat itself is not seasoned. If they could improve the wings it would be a much better product. So for now, we'll stick to the tenders.

I had seen its various locations (Isla Vista, Santa Barbara's Mesa and Goleta) and always wanted to check it out; yet leave it to my sister from out of town to introduce me to it. Twice she has ordered take-out sandwiches at lunch time for us. Their sandwich menu is nutso with 36 creations to choose from, including several that are vegetarian. Of course, the options are endless if you choose to build you own! I went with the #14 (a turkey BLT) and #2 (turkey and cheese) which are simply basic yet tasty. I have no idea what they do to their bread but is addicting. Slight crunch on the outside, yet soft to the squeeze and full of gummy flour flavor! All of the ingredients appear fresh and nothing special--which I appreciate when I want a deli sandwich. I love the fact that you can purchase your sandwich in a variety of sizes including a "mini" for if you need a snack to hold you over and not a full meal. I also think of children, those who are on a lower carb diet, who have had bariatric surgery, or are limiting portion sizes. I personally go for a "small" sandwich. However, if you want to go all out, choose the "medium" or "family" size. Even better, if you're hosting a party, order a three to ten foot long sandwich (requires a day's notice). I will be back to check out the actual place--third time's a charm they say. I've heard both their chicken salad and tuna salad are both delicious. That's next up! P/S: According to Yelpers, they do not accept the Check-In Offer for a free soda with a sandwich purchase. They should really remove this from their Yelp page... Note: Only the Milpas location offers chicken sandwiches, burgers, french fries and chicken nuggets. Note squared: They charge more for credit card payments. Note cubed: If you want free entertainment, check out their Milpas website menus with adorable, phonetically spelled items. (gient vs giant, meetball vs meatball, and phylly vs philly).

I bought two (already overpriced) medium-sized sandwiches for $36.38 including tax. If that was not…read moreenough, I was actually charged $37.56, due to paying with credit card. I have no issues with credit cards needing extra 3% charge itself, but the real issue was that I was never told about this extra credit card charge in advance. Nor was there any indication in the store or on the website that credit card payments incurred this 3% surcharge. Finally, upon asking for a refund of $37.56 - $36.38 = $1.18, the manager actually yelled at me, saying that this 3% credit card charge is "commonplace". This is bullshit untrue across the country, as we all know (especially if not told in advance). Thus, long story short, this store simply aims to earn as much money from consumers as possible, even if this means overstepping the bounds of ethics.
