We've been enjoying the first Yetz's Bagel in Isla Vista, and now it's a little more convenient to get to with their new location in the Target Shopping Center. Right there between Dune Coffee, Ca'Dario, and Lucky Coin Laundry. I've been a big fan of their Bagel Sandwiches, both for Breakfast and/or Lunch. On their Schmears and Fish Menu, The Deluxe is perfect with Nova Lox, Scallion Schmear, Capers, Red Onion and Tomato. And even just a Bagel with one of their Schmears is very tasty. The Gaucho Egg Sandwich is very flavorful and pairs nicely with their drip coffee. And for lunch we'll usually get to-go their Chipotle Beef and/or Turkey Melt. Alejandro and his staff are always helpful in making sure everything is delicious, and always served up in a timely manner. Outside patio area is nice and usually sunny and warm. read more

The bagels themselves leave a lot to be desired. They look like they should be delicious but are in fact plain. I bought a dozen of various different flavors and brought them home to share with the family and the overall sentiment is "meh". I'm sure the bagel sandwiches are better as they are packed with other goodies but you are better off going next door to Dune Coffee if you just want a bagel. read more

I wish I could give this place 10 stars. The parking is a bit packed, but that makes sense. There was a line of people waiting, so that's always a good sign. I ordered a plain bagel lightly toasted with cream cheese. This was one of the best bagels I've ver had in my life. Thick, fluffy, dense, and the cream cheese tasted homemade. It's really hard to find New York style bagels, so this was such a nice treat. During our trip to Santa Barbara we got to try this cute little place and we were pleasantly surprised! Those bagels are like New York bagels and that's hard to find in California. The asiago one was my favorite! They also have great cream cheese options and the lox one was exceptional. Really nice staff and plenty of parking. read more

They screwed up a simple order. Ordered a sausage egg and cheese to go, walked back to the hotel and the sandwich had NO CHEESE which was clearly on the receipt. So annoying didn't walk back so writing here check your orders they are incompetent. read more

Green goddess bagel was good. Nothing amazing or couldn't find elsewhere. The guy who took our order was nice and patient with us. We were given the wrong order initially and had to go back with our receipt and point it out. We got another one but had to wait for it. This spot has the best bagels in SB with IV Bagel Cafe as a close second. The service is warm and their bagels are chewy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, tender, NY-style. Really disappointed with this place as it is so needed in the area but you see the workmen (and women) look at the menu and leave. I want Yetz's to do well so I'm leaving this feedback. The birthday and text discounts are good! The bagels themselves are not so good. Not very tasty and can you just offer a slimmer version like the Thintastic from Noah's for example? Everyone in California is on a diet you know! In fact, Noah's is a good benchmark with what they offer and their prices are fair. $12 for a tuna salad bagel which is a lump of tuna mayo and one small tomato sliced on a ridiculously thick dry tasteless (Everything!) bagel is not going to make me come back again. I've tried Yetz's three times now and I won't be back. Sorry, I hope you change your menu to suit the customers who work in this area as there is a big opportunity and it is being missed. read more

Yetz is finally open in Goleta! Conveniently in the target shopping center, there's tons of parking here compared to the IV location. Very clean interior with outdoor patio seating available. Friendly employees and quick service (although I lucked out and there was no line when I arrived!). The whole menu is tasty, but my fave is the works on an everything bagel. 10/10 recommend and so excited to have this second location in town. read more

Big bagels with crispy outside and soft inside. The schmear is so good! Situated in the Target shopping center next to Lucky Coin Laundry, this "outpost" brings authentic New York-style, hand-rolled, and boiled bagels to the area with significantly more parking than its original Isla Vista spot. read more

Went on a Saturday at noon and ordered a plain bagel and a deluxe sandwich. As a Brooklyn, NY native I had high hopes. The bagels are okay; as with another reviewer, my reaction was "meh". Yes, they are quite large compared to a traditiional NY bagel, but they are on the fluffy side where the ideal bagel should be chewy. So they are only o.k. and not great, but the main issue for me was that there was not enough staff. Of course I received the plain bagel very quickly, but it took 20 minutes for the sandwich. There were two people ahead of me to order but, based on my pickup number, there were 12 orders ahead of mine. I will stick with Bagel Market Cafe for now - chewy bagels, fast service, competitive princes. read more
