No preservatives. This bread is the best. Just plain delicious. I hope the retail store opens again soon.

The next time I tried the Suuk (mugwort). What a culinary delight. Next time it was Hojicha. I am now a regular! I have worked my way to Strawberry Rose Matcha. The best!!!!! It isn't just the food. When you walk in you feel welcomed. The vibe is relaxed with wonderful music. All this comes together with the most incredible team. You talk with strangers while sitting on the bench. I now have my "Kin Friends". In today's world it is such an unexpected experience. Kudos to Tommy & Will for giving us such a wonderful place to just go unwind and enjoy their wonderful creations.

I might have been a little ambitious and went back to back days and tried 3 drinks in 2 days... The strawberry drinks were my fav and they were SO good because they use real strawberries in their puree so you can taste the chunks. The tea was also SOOO strong and you can tell they use quality powder. I'm craving the strawberry matcha or hojicha again as im writing this. The black sesame matcha was good too but the black sesame definitely dominated the matcha so it felt like i was just drinking black sesame cream which i love black sesame but just wished there was a stronger matcha taste. I'd recommend this drink if you're looking for more of a creamier, dessert-like drink. As for the treats, the ube mochi muffin was my favorite. It was my first time trying a mochi muffin and I liked how chewy it was! We went too late so they ran out of all mochi donut flavors except the cinnamon one but it was still good cuz it tasted like a churro :) i NEED to come back so i can try the rest of the drinks and desserts...until next time the wait is pretty long ~30mins to 1 hour probably depending on when you go. i went on a saturday afternoon and a sunday morning and had to wait both times interior is INSANELY cute and well decorated!

You order at the counter and a staff member will bring you your items. We ordered 2 breakfast items and cappuccino, the latter which was good nothing fancy. My friend ordered the Classic with bacon. She said it was really good and liked the grilled toast. I had KC''s Sunnyside which I really enjoyed. The kale and potato combo with goat cheese was delicious. My 2 complaints would be the lack of parking and limited indoor seating. It was drizzling and all the inside tables of which there are few were taken. A couple was kind enough to let us sit with them. This is not a good place for a large party (more than 4).

Be aware that parking can be a bit of a hassle, as I parked down the street since all spots were unavailable at the time! I picked up a TooGoodToGo order from here for $12 and was given 12 cupcakes, WOW!!! What a deal! The variety was fantastic and the quality was great! Got lemon berry, red velvet, strawberry, peace cupcake, lemon, and a chocolate chip swirl cupcake. Me and my boyfriend both loved the lemon berry cupcake the most. It was a lemon cake filled with mixed berries, a lemon buttercream, and more berries on top! So so good! We were impressed that the cake was still moist despite being a day old! :) Overall, lovely spot and will definitely return! So good!

Personally, I'm partial to the Goleta location since it offers a small breakfast and lunch menu My go-tos are the Spring Greens Sandwich, Trout Toast, and the Farmer's Market Frittata, which always feels fresh and seasonal. I'm also mildly obsessed with their Olive Rosemary Focaccia and the jalapeño basil cashew spread. Honestly, I'd put that spread on just about anything. Service is counter style with friendly staff, and there's a beautiful glass case showcasing the day's dishes and fresh breads. I love a good visual moment when deciding what to order, and this place definitely delivers. Just note that popular items can sell out, so going earlier is better. Their bread menu changes depending on the season and produce availability, which keeps things interesting. You'll also find gluten-free options, sweets, and dry goods if you want to take a little something home. The patio is cute and sun-filled, perfect for lingering with coffee and a pastry. Parking is street parking only, but on weekdays there's usually ample neighborhood parking nearby. Just note they're closed Sundays and Mondays, so plan your carb pilgrimage accordingly.

I ordered the fruit loops, animal cracker, and chocolate chip pillow. Service was great and very friendly. Inside there is not much seating unless you arrive early as there are lots of college students inside but I wanted my donuts to go so it worked out. My favorite was animal cracker and chocolate chip pillow. Not overly sweet or too much chocolate flavor overpowering. I also ordered a hot cocoa and a strawberry matcha. The hot cocoa was delicious. The strawberry matcha I would pass on because the milk overpowered the matcha and the strawberry flavor was lacking as well. Highly recommend the donuts!

The basics are all there but they have so many speciality donuts and I wanted to try them all! Creme brûlée, spring themed donuts of various shapes and flavors, and other delicious concoctions. Since I was meeting up with family, I didn't hesitate to buy a dozen and have a donut tasting with the fam. Favorites - creme brulee donut, Boston creme (vanilla donut with creme inside and chocolate frosting), spring "nest" with coconut and creme inside, and the glazed twist (simple but light and fluffy with a vanilla touched glaze). Also, grabbed a coffee and it was good. Need to buy a bag to take home next time.
