Kenzie and Claire and staff are always so welcoming, and spot on with their food and/or coffee recommendations. As much as we love their Vanilla Latte, we always try something new. So I'm an avid coffee lover. Single origin, black coffee is my preference and they don't have that. Not their fault, but I have to give context. I'm here on a business trip and came here each morning, got an Americano, no food. The Americano was excellent and made very consistently but a different person each time. I also like that they have a system of one person taking the orders and another making the drinks. Today is my last day and they opened the glass door wall which made it very vibey. There was nothing extra special, but if you are traveling you should 100% check them out. Wifi, outlets, consistency. I'll be back in a few months. read more

I was on a business trip and I went to this cafe twice. The nearby hotel restaurant, was at was charging $21 for avocado toast, and this was about $12 with the bacon. It was really good, though the bacon is more like bacon crumble and I'm not sure I would get the bacon again. The first day, I had the chubaka which was a space chai like hot drink with milk. The second day I had the Gibraltar and that was also delicious. The servers were really nice. The space was spacious and clean. It opens early, at 6 AM and closes early at 4 PM. read more

Just got totally disrespected and treated like a second or third class citizen. The good thing is when I Walked in the lady behind the counter was helping some one else but she did acknowledge me and let me know that there would be someone to help me soon. Well the girl who came from the back and up to the counter looked right past me and helped her friend who was behind me with her order and didn't ask if I had been helped or not. Yay! A new Lighthouse coffee! I love the location downtown and in Goleta and the inside of this location is so cute. Nikki took my order and she was so sweet and was so welcoming. A ton of parking outside was such a plus too. I had a matcha latte. The workers were nice and added to the calm atmosphere. Not a place for matcha lovers. Their "matcha" is just pale green milk. The last couple times I came in the baristas have had terrible attitude despite my friendliness. They all act like it's a huge chore to make one drink or take a simple order so I would not recommend this place at all. Getting greeted with hostile vibes ruins the experience as people go to coffee shops to enjoy. read more

when I got in, on February 7, 2025 at 11:30am, there was noone in line, two girls were working the bar, and I waited at the counter for 7 minutes. Unacceptable. I ordered my overpriced blended drink with whipped cream, and sat down inside, and they took way too long to make my drink, considering they were doing nothing else, didn't call my order or my name (my drink sat up there for a while I'm sure before I noticed it was out), and they were overall the rudest coffee baristas I have ever met. Not to mention, when I got the drink the whipped cream was on the side the whole drink was disheveled and unappetizing and ugly- it looked like the girl dropped my drink and didn't care to fix it. I wanted to say something, but the barista workers just simply dont respond to customers. I cannot figure out how to upload a photo of it, but I will never recommend this awful place to anyone because of the rude workers. The ambiance is okay though. read more

When this location first opened the service and coffee was great and was just like the other locations. Unfortunately the quality of the lattes has gone down. The past couple of times the coffee has been getting more bitter and this morning I got two lattes and they were utterly disgusting. I don't know if there needs to be additional training but if I'm paying $7 or more for a latte I don't think it's too much to ask to not get a two burned lattes. read more
