So I'm an avid coffee lover. Single origin, black coffee is my preference and they don't have that. Not their fault, but I have to give context. I'm here on a business trip and came here each morning, got an Americano, no food. The Americano was excellent and made very consistently but a different person each time. I also like that they have a system of one person taking the orders and another making the drinks. Today is my last day and they opened the glass door wall which made it very vibey. What a delightful experience at Lighthouse Coffee! The Calle Real location is ideal, with ample parking and indoor and outdoor seating. The establishment was aesthetically pleasing, clean, quiet, a fabulous place to pick up a beverage, a delicious Buena Onda Empanada, or baked goods. The staff were extremely helpful. Expert barista Judith was wonderful and answered all my questions about the beverages on offer. I decided to go with the delectable iced "Dirty Chai". Love this new location in Goleta. One small recommendation: lower the volume of the music. Or even better, limit to instrumental music only.

Not a place for matcha lovers. Their "matcha" is just pale green milk. The last couple times I came in the baristas have had terrible attitude despite my friendliness. They all act like it's a huge chore to make one drink or take a simple order so I would not recommend this place at all. Getting greeted with hostile vibes ruins the experience as people go to coffee shops to enjoy. read more
