Such a stunning location! Beautiful views of the harbor, and the coffee and pastries were tasty too! We saw plenty of people working here in their laptops, which seems like such a nice way to spend the day!

Dart coffee has the best view in town! Located in the harbor next to the Maritime Museum. It's becoming one of my favorite spots to visit when I'm on my walks. The best time to come is during the weekday, because it's not too busy as opposed to the weekends. I usually just get coffee, but on my latest visit I decided to try the affogato. They had a choice of churro or vegan coconut ice cream. I chose the coconut. The ice cream is from Creaminal which is local. I have to say that I was a little disappointed in the way they served the Affogato. The ice cream looked like they scraped the bottom of the barrel and not whole scoops! Hence the 4 stars. It didn't look pleasing to the eye, but luckily the taste made up for it. They also offer lite bites and empanadas from Buena Onda. I haven't tried the food yet, but I have tried Buena Onda and I can vouch that they are my favorite! The views here are priceless on a clear sunny day. The patio area faces the harbor with boat views. They also have Wi-Fi here; which is convenient for anyone using their laptop. The only thing I don't like is there's too many flies inside. Mainly where you order. Hopefully they order a fly zapper or trapper, because they are annoying lol. Overall, this coffee spot is worth checking out despite the flies. Sit outside and you'll be fine.

Loved my mocha. Very pretty view! It was a very beautiful walk from our hotel to here.

I was so pleasantly surprised how good the strawberry matcha is here! Stop by for some caffeine and a beautiful view! The service was quick and easy also, definitely want to come back.

I stopped by the Dart location on the harbor for the first time to check out a bagel pop up that was going on there. However, I figured it was a good opportunity to also grab a drink from Dart! I've been to their funk zone location in the past but otherwise haven't had the opportunity to try very much from them, so I was excited for this one. I asked the cashier for a bit of direction for a drink and ended up choosing the matcha sunrise! I only waited a couple of minutes before it came out. I decided to look for a seat outside and it was a particularly beautiful and sunny day so I chose a spot facing towards the ocean. I sipped on my drink and loved how tart it was. I got the matcha but with the citrus notes from the lemonade. It was a surprisingly lovely combination!! This drink paired with my yummy breakfast and beautiful view was truly a picture perfect morning. I would definitely come back!

This place is tucked in at the front of the harbor. There is paid parking but also some free parking if you don't plan on staying long (and if you can grab a spot). It's a short walk and took me a minute to locate as there is another restaurant's name above them. However, it'll be hard to miss as this appears to be a popular location with many people visiting. There are many food options including breakfast burritos and pastries. The staff were very friendly and efficient when taking my order. My vanilla oat latte was good. Nothing overwhelming but still solid. The lemon muffin I got was a bit dry and not worth what I paid IMO.

As a matcha lover AND a coffee lover, I approve! I ordered the strawberry matcha and an iced mocha and I have zero regrets. Both the perfect consistency. If you're looking for good coffee/matcha with a view, this is the place to go to!

Mocha and an everything bagel with cream cheese.

Great service. All baristas looked happy and were friendly. Bagels were awesome and coffee was on point. The view, prime!

This was one of my favorite stops we made during our SB trip. Dart coffee was a quick and enjoyable 15 min walk from our hotel along the beach. It was busy on a Sunday morning around 9, and they were sold out of most hot food items. The line went quick and our drinks were prepared quickly. My iced latte was great and my friend enjoyed her seasonal strawberry matcha. The best part of this location is being able to walk along the bay with your coffee - a must!

I was at the Santa Barbara harbor and was craving for some caffeine before lunch , so I stumble on this coffee chain shop and it's not bad. Good coffee, great servicer and nice customer service . If you had a chance to visit Santa Barbara , then drop by and try it your self. Yummy coffee

    Everything Bagel

I love this Dart location! I went with my sister and the vibes were good. Staff was friendly and there was a bit of a line when we got there. We got our food pretty fast and the bagel was so yummy! I got an iced tea and that was also really good. I will return back to try their matcha next time :)

    Cappuccino

One of the best spots in SB for coffee! Their cappuccinos are fantastic, but the best part is the staff! Everyone who works at this location is so friendly. Plenty of spots to enjoy the view of the harbor.

Like many parts of Santa Barbara, the buildings are steeped in history and reflect the Spanish heritage of the city. I walked in my dog (they're dog friendly!) and went straight to look for the menu. My dog immediately found the bike pump and the snacks they leave for dogs. Service is super nice! They all seem very jovial and cheerful - making it a really nice local vibe. It was great to see the community in the coffee shop. Sadly, the coffee leaves something to be desired. Their menu is pretty standard - you got your flat whites, cappuccinos, lattes - and nothing special or standout from the menu. That's fine - you can still be a standout coffee shop with a standard menu. I ordered two vanilla lattes - one hot, and the other iced with oat milk. Unfortunately, I think my order was misheard as my iced oat latte was missing the vanilla. - Vanilla Latte: Fine. My partner typically orders this everywhere and he said it was fine, but nothing standout. 3/5 - Iced Oat Latte: Already mentioned it was missing the vanilla I asked for, so I'll discuss the other elements. They use a darker roast - thus, making it more susceptible to a bitter taste. That, and I believe an over-extraction or a longer pull made the coffee quite bitter. They also served it in the same cup as the hot coffee. My main issue with this is that I'm a slower coffee drinker, and thus my cup began disintegrating as time passed. Their cups aren't constructed to uphold iced coffee well. 2/5 It was such a prime location nearby the USPS and is sat in a great historic area. Handlebars has great staff, who clearly enjoy their jobs, and have a great community surrounding it. It's sad that their coffee is subpar. Strongly recommend you order your coffee hot, to drink in-store, or just avoid.
