Incredible service. Loved the young woman that greeted us. Enjoyed Matcha and cold brew. Both with oat milk. Prices were very respectable. Seating lovely outside. Bench and table seating. They roast on site. Coffee is yummy. Matcha was 'real' and great. A neighborhood gem!! Follow the light to Lighthouse Coffee!!!!!!

I found a hair in my latte. I was there 10/13 and unfortunately finished the whole thing before I opened the lid and saw the hair.

I'm glad that lighthouse took over this location from Low pigeon. The drinks are better, the service is better! They have a variety of espresso drinks-they got lavender drinks on the menu here! They have a limited amount of bites, such as empanadas and croissant. The inside is a little small but ample sitting space outside. Parking is shared with the gym next door but can park off street. They have the best dirty chai in town!!! Perfect espresso to chai to milk ratio. Not too underwhelming or overwhelming of any particular ingredient. Will differently be going back!

Awesome plants and quirky art in this sweet roaster

We found this place on a whim, close by to another stop we had to make. I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the patio and outdoor area - how I wish I had some work to do out there to have an excuse to enjoy it longer! It is a beautiful little oasis with the smell of roasting coffee wafting around you? It sounds like a great setting for working from home (or this sweet coffee shop). It's just a little pop-in-and-order situation, but their cozy space has so much personality - quirky art, plants, and coffee beans for purchase! I LOVED the dirty chai I ordered.

HNY! Lighthouse is my first review of 2023 A place that makes excellent coffee & tea Though I miss Low Pigeon, the cafe here before With time, I'm loving this place more & more! You'll find them on the corner of Laguna & Haley Hours of operation are 7 AM to 3 PM daily The parking lot is shared with a fitness studio It's easy to get in & out if you need to grab & go At this location, beans are freshly roasted on-site Up to 92 pounds hourly, 400 degrees Fahrenheit Ingredients are sourced from regions like Peru, Brazil, Columbia, and Ethiopia to name a few They serve lattes, nitros, matcha, pastry treats, Empanadas, toasts, bagels, & other tasty eats The only major menu change as far as I can see Is that oat, soy, & almond milks are no longer free The Peppermint Mocha was minty & sweet A nice hint of chocolate & a high level of heat The pain au chocolat I ordered was fine & fair Tasted decent but I've had better elsewhere Overall a nice place to sip drinks & study Or somewhere to sit & chat with a buddy Bring your laptop if you need to get work done Or just enjoy basking in the Santa Barbara sun!

Pretty terrible coffee - bitter, over roasted taste. Handlebar, Dune or Luxxe are much better options. Friendly person at the front though.

Best tasting of the local coffee houses. Great staff at all of them. I love that they have a coffee house on the east side of State St

The real reason I'm leaving this review is because of their beans! I got the Brazil and the El Salvador beans. I didn't take a pic of the El Salvador, but it was probably my all time favorite beans. I did not visit during it's peak hours, though there still was a line out the door when I went mid-afternoon. The wait in line didn't seem too long and I was entertained / distracted by the merchandise that was out on display on the way to the register. I ended up pulling two coffee bags -- one for me (Brazil) and one as a gift for my sister (Gibraltar). I would love to be able to try the entire assortment of coffee beans. Love the packaging. The ambiance is open and spacious inside. Lots of space for seating indoors and there are places outside as well. I noticed a lot of students would come here to study or others who would go there to meet with friends or just a place to hang out. I would come back for sure next time I am back in the area and would like to try a food item next time and a matcha drink next time.

We ordered a hot vanilla latte with oat milk, an iced vanilla latte, and a matcha green tea. The dark roast in the coffee had the perfect balance of bold flavor and sweetness. I honestly enjoyed every sip of it. Everything tasted smooth, rich, and well made. The place itself was clean, organized, and even the bathroom was spotless, which I always appreciate. Overall, such a great coffee stop in Santa Barbara. Definitely coming back!

On June 5th between approximately 9:00 AM and 9:15 AM, at State st location, I ordered a Strawberry Milk Matcha at the State Street location. The drink I received looked significantly different from the advertised product and appeared improperly prepared. When I politely asked about it, the employee immediately became defensive and repeatedly insisted that the drink was correct instead of taking a moment to understand the concern. Fortunately, another employee stepped in and offered to remake the drink, which I appreciated. What disappointed me most was the customer service. When I asked the employee for his name so I could provide feedback, he told me that I did not need to know his name and that it was irrelevant for me to know. I found that response surprisingly unprofessional. Mistakes happen. Drinks can be remade. What matters is how customers are treated when they raise concerns respectfully. I spoke with a manager afterward, who apologized for my experience, but I left feeling that the issue was minimized rather than truly addressed. I choose local businesses over large chains whenever possible. That's exactly why this experience was disappointing. I hope this feedback is taken constructively because Dune has built a strong reputation in our community and I would like to see that standard upheld.

And this lovely cafe can get really busy. This is also the caje cafe where I tried their hot cocoa for the first time and aclaim it to be one of THE BEST HOT COCOAS EVER!!! It is really easy to swoon over the magical drink choices here, and not get something so plain like a coffee or cocoa. But everything caje does is excellent. And, wow, this is rich, pure, wonderful hot cocoa. Get with their house made almond milk. It is very low sugar and made with excellent quality chocolate, so actually close to a medicinal drink. Tip: For hot drinks here always ask for extra hot. Sit outside in their parked courtyard. Comfy seats perfect for people watching, reading, and friend chats. A few charming seats inside too. I quickly hopped off the 101 and hopped into the cafe. I ordered a cold brew from the very nice gentleman at the counter, and he served it up. Nothing crazy there. It was definitely a place designed for a spot of coffee and a small snack/meal. I saw plenty of people doing some studying there too. I'm sure that's a great place to do it. Onto the coffee. I ordered the cold brew black, so I was off pretty quick. I got in the car and took a sip. It was a pretty dark roast, and I wanna say pretty French in roast profile? I dunno. Anyways, it was dark, a little muddled in flavor, and not as good as other options in the area, in my opinion. That being said, it was in no way bad, and because everything else was closed, I was happy to have had something. It's not the coffee for me, but I think it's plenty good for a cafe drink and a light meal!
