Texas Roadhouse is obviously a chain, but they have a pretty quality product from my experience. The interior is a bit like a barn style, with lots of wood and leather in the furniture and decor accents. They used to have peanuts on the ground where you'd wait for your name to be called, but I think they did away with that due to many having peanut allergies (which I totally understand). I have been to this Texas Roadhouse a few times (with friends, family, and now my spouse a couple times). Throughout that all, I basically always order the same thing to this day. We, like everyone, start with the amazing Texas Roadhouse rolls that come with the divine cinnamon butter. You absolutely have to get these at the restaurant. Do NOT get them to go! We got them to go once and they were literally just hamburger buns. Very disappointing. This was during COVID when they just had their To Go window open, but that shouldn't mean they are cutting corners on quality (because they definitely did not reduce prices). My favorite app, if we get an app, is the fried pickles. They have a thin coating and a delicious ranch for dipping. I don't usually get an app to start, because I need to save room for the rolls and my actual food LOL Anyway, my go to is the Pork Chop (under the Country Dinners), as a single chop (you can get it as two chops, but one is enough for me). The chop is juicy and tender and comes with a peppercorn sauce that is divine, so I also get extra of that on the side to make sure I have enough. You get two sides with it and I always go with the corn and the Caesar salad. They do have an expertly dressed Caesar, I must say. Each leaf is coated (not gloopily), with their delicious caesar dressing and shaved parmesan. The corn is just basic corn with some pepper, but it goes really well with the peppercorn sauce that comes with the Pork Chop. (Making my own recipes/mixes over here.) My husband usually gets the rib eye or some sort of steak there, so we usually only head that way if he's craving their steak specifically, as it has a certain smoky flavor he likes. His favorite side with it is the baked potato, with lots of sour cream and butter. Salty peppercorn sauce, cinnamon butter rolls, and sour cream and butter potatoes - you definitely don't want to come to Texas Roadhouse when you're on a diet! But if you have the calories to spend and don't mind a good chain steak, Texas Roadhouse has got you covered.

You can always count on consistent food and timely service. That's the one thing that keeps me coming back over and over again. Great price point for what you get.

We arrived Sunday afternoon about 4 PM and the parking lot was full and people standing outside. It was so busy! We put our name in for a table and they told us it would be probably 5 to 15 minute wait and I thought yeah right. About 15 minutes they called our name and seated us and the server brought our drinks right away and took our order. Our salads came out right away and we're absolutely perfect. Plus they left us their yummy rolls and butter. Our steaks and baked potatoes came out and were absolute perfection. Plus they brought us more rolls and asked if we wanted to take some rolls home which I couldn't turn down. I forgot our servers name but all I have to say is he was very good. This restaurant was packed and people were still standing waiting to get in when we were leaving, but they get you in quickly somehow. We will definitely be back to this location!

You can't go wrong with Texas Roadhouse! If you are looking for a steak that doesn't cost $50 just for the steak, this is your place. It has the all American Texas vibe inside. Always crowded and full but the service is always great! My 5 year olds favorite place because of the games you can play on their little tablet at the table. This last time I went I got the prime rib and it did not disappoint! Everyone loves their rolls but this last time we went, it seemed like they had changed their rolls. Hope that's not the case. Bonus that it is walking distance from our house. Also, you can get in the waiting list on Yelp ahead of time so you don't have to go there and wait for 45 mins.

Food was fantastic and came in large quantities. Our server was great and attentive filling our waters frequently. The place was packed but never was overly loud. Will definitely return!

What an odd experience...my fiancé loves Texas Roadhouse and had never been to the one in Omaha. Right from the beginning, something was weird. Even though the restaurant was nearly empty and we were the only ones waiting, it took them nearly 5 mins to decide where to put us. They wanted us to sit at the bar, but we wanted a table, which was apparently a difficult ask. My Caesar salad was absolutely swimming in dressing. However, the chicken critters were pretty tasty. My fiancé ordered the ribs, and they were all but inedible. They tasted like really dry chicken. He said they were the worst ribs he has ever had. The second star is only because the rolls with cinnamon butter were incredible, as per usual. We will not return.

It's been awhile since we've visit this restaurant so we went there to visit, we were lucky to have made a reservation to avoid the long queue. I might be the odd one here but I enjoyed the pork slab ribs over the prime rib. They're so soft and so tender and it doesn't stick on the bone. I would highly recommend the pork slab ribs.

TO GO ORDER Promise time was 6:02pm. Waited and waited in my car per the to go text instructions that it wasn't ready yet. It was cold out and I had no coat and I had a young child in the car. So I called the store twice and was left on hold for 7 min at 6:33pm and 5 min at 6:41pm. Never got an "order ready" text. Since it had been nearly 1.5 hours since I ordered, I got in line at the outside window to check a status update on my order and they said oh it's right here! What?! Food was barely luke warm. I called and spoke to the GM who put it on me and said I maybe should've called (I did) or just gone up to the window (freezing cold out). He didn't apologize for his staff not sending a text when the food was clearly ready a while ago. He said he would refund the whole order and then he hung up on me. I have not received a refund. Absolutely horrific customer service from the bottom all the way to the top!!

You can always tell a great BBQ when you don't need sauce to season or moisten the meat. Pulled pork was excellent, the the corn bread had to be the best I have had anywhere. After a fun day at the zoo, we decided to finally try Smoking Jay's. On this day, we took advantage of a special that was enough to feed two. Three pork ribs, brisket, two sides, toast, and cornbread. First, like every barbecue place, I like to try the sauce first. Good BBQ doesn't need sauce but a good BBQ restaurant should have it. Strange thinking, I know. They have two sauces here. Spicy and regular. Both seemed overwhelmingly full of, I think, molasses. I didn't care for either but favored the spicy (which is hardly spicy). Strangely, the sauce tasted better when paired with the meat. Imagine that! You get two choices for brisket, fatty or lean. We chose lean and it was not great but better than okay. Well seasoned too. Notice the nice smoke ring in my picture! The ribs? They were 100% perfectly, delicious, and NOT fall off the bone (which should never be for legit BBQ - a good rib has a tug). Bravo for great ribs!! The side dish of BBQ beans was pretty good, better than most, but there was something in there that was not to my liking (best guess, bay leaf... yuck). The coleslaw was alright. There was also a nice small side of spicy pickles and onions too. Overall, we will come back when convenient and get those ribs again! Okra is another side dish that we will try next time. Super friendly people here!

We ordered the Carolina Pork (topped this coleslaw) sandwich and the brisket sandwich. I think it's important to note that we are in KC style territory, so a North Carolina native might not give the pork five stars but I think a Midwesterner would appreciate it. The brisket was tender and flavorful. The sides were mighty! The potato salad was ranked a "must order" and described as "church picnic" quality, due to the high ratio of eggs and mustard. We tried the fried cabbage with bacon; if you enjoy greens I felt like this was a cabbage variant and quite tasty. We have vowed to return to try the sandwich that comes topped with hot links!! I also want to try the ribs, the smokers outside looked rib-ready. Combos consist of a sandwich, side and can of pop and if you order to go things are wrapped up in a fashion that's guaranteed to not tip over. I think you should go visit, and help us sample our way around the menu.
