There are a few things that you sign up for when you enter a Texas Roadhouse--loud music, a peanut atmosphere, and a lot of people. None of these are necessarily bad things, but they tend to either excite or ward off customers. This location holds true to the company standard. It's always crowded for dinner especially, regardless of the day of the week. For those not wanting to wait for 60+ minutes, making a reservation is mandatory. The food is always a hit here, however. The cooks are generally pretty on par with meat requests, and servers are usually very friendly. Prices vary, but are definitely on the higher end. A solid burger is around $12.50, and the steak hits a tad higher. But, If you're into an energetic atmospheres with lots of people and great food, this place is for you. read more

Loved the atmosphere and music. Fun for family or group hang outs. Food was great! Bag of peanuts ready at the table. Complimentary fresh-warm buttery rolls with cinnamon butter. They were so good, we had to get a 2nd basket. We ordered pulled pork with sides of steak fries and a cup of chilli. Another order of Fried chicken steak with a side of baked potato. And Bloomin Onion. They were all delicious. Not a big fan of the steak fries, were soggy and greasy. Bloomin onions were amazing, crispy and well-seasoned. Great service from our server. read more

Listen- I know you guys & gals hate serving large groups. But until you allow large groups to make reservations - you have to deal with them better than what we experienced tonight. A 30-45 wait turned into nearly 2 hours. People left, those of who stayed were starving. The staff just appeared annoyed by us. When we finally got seated, rolls and drinks took forever. Server was clearly overwhelmed in general. It was quite possibly one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a Texas Roadhouse. Food was mediocre and it was pretty clear most of it had been left under heat lamps, so medium rare was past that. It was just a lot of little mistakes that kept adding up, and no one tried to make it better on the staff side. That's the part that bothered me the most. Texas Roadhouse is one of my favorite restaurants! I often forget we even have one just 10 minutes away ..I came to live in Idaho from another nearby state that has no Texas Roadhouse locations but I had been to different locations when on vacations. For my birthday, my boss asked where I'd like gift cards for and I asked for Texas Roadhouse. Today I used my gift card on a to go order for my and my fiancé. I got my favorite dish here which is the herb crusted chicken with mashed potatoes and veggies, a steak for him with sautéed mushrooms, mashed potatoes and steak fries and we also got the grilled shrimp appetizer which also comes with toasts with lemon pepper butter - as always, everything was phenomenal right down to their legendary rolls with the delightful honey cinnamon butter! *drools uncontrollably* Texas Roadhouse will always have my business especially when they are one of the very few affordable non- fast food dining establishments around here. It has been about a month ago that we visited Texas Roadhouse, and it was so good that on our return to Nampa, we had visit the restaurant again. And it was perfect once again. On our last visit, we were given a card for a complimentary Cactus Blossom...and it was so good. Last trip I had the Rib Eye which was quite impressive. This time I had to try the Prime Rib, and oh my...it was so flavorful. My daughter had the Top Sirloin again and she loved it. The server Sophia was so nice and friendly as well. We ordered take out tonight 03/23/2026. Order was wrong. our chicken critter salad was missing the chicken!!!! The steak was undercooked, as well as the order was supposed to contain fries and instead they gave us garlic bread without notifying us about the change. They did not give us any type of receipt at checkout either! we are missing the cajun sauces and the blooming cactus sauce as well. When we took our order and started to walk away the 2 female workers were whispering and pointing knowing the order was wrong. I've never been to a Texas Roadhouse before. I visited this one while vacationing to Nampa to visit family last September. My cousin's daughter works here so they wanted to share it with us. I'm so glad they did! First off, coming from California, things here are just different. And in a good way. Everyone is friendly, helpful, and not shallow. The staff and ambience were all lively and smiling. They do dance shows for the restaurant periodically throughout your meal and it's usually done to a well known cool song that everyone knows. The food was fantastic and the portions are huge. I got a ribeye steak which you get to actually choose from a display when you walk in. Pretty cool, I've never experienced that before. They have shelled peanuts to snack on while you wait for your table. Drinks were ok but there should be something for everyone. Cocktails were limited and served in hard plastic cups but there a decent variety to choose from. My family and I had so much fun and really enjoyed the meal. I figured this would be my only time visiting a Texas Roadhouse but then recently I learned that they be opening one in Valencia near my home and I am so stoked to make it a regular visit near home! So unhappy with Texas Roadhouse tonight. I'll get straight to the point. Salad had so little dressing that I wasn't even sure there was any at first. Although it wouldn't have helped much because much of the salad was brown and knobby. I ordered my steak well done and it was med rare. My mashed potatoes had along thick object in it (either onion or noodle). I question if I even got the right size steak, or if I got someone else's all together. Less important was that the person who delivered our food tried to give my husband my meal, and then blamed the waitress for getting our orders backward, they forgot my horseradish, and they said they weren't sure if we got ranch dressing or blue cheese. Asked us to try it and let them know, but didn't come back until we were done eating our buffalo wing appetizer. Also, there were old receipts still in the bucket on our table. My husband got the chicken fried chicken. He said it was fine but that his salad sucked. The place was pretty crowded and loud, so maybe they won't miss us when we don't come back for a while. I got the tiniest steak but what ever it was on the menu but it looked way smaller then what I normally get then the chicken critters there were 4... FOUR! Doesn't seem very Texas to me and like I said I have ordered this before... my child's chicken critters kids meal came with more. Then the whole entire time I was being rushed.... Took my wife out to a nice dinner on Friday night. Texas Roadhouse has great flavor and we normally love their food. This time there were a couple things that dropped my opinion a couple spots. I enjoy their filet medallions with portobello mushroom sauce. Some people like their steaks cooked rare, however I prefer medium-well with a slightly pink center. Mine showed up rare and even after sending back for a little longer cook time, came out like the attached picture I took. I did take my steak home, so I'll be cooking it a little longer The other complaint was we weren't offered even one refill on our drinks nor any additional dinner rolls. . We came in late on a weekday with friends and the place was still packed, We'd never been to any location before but had always heard about the rolls and butter which were tasty. I wasn't that hungry so just had a loaded baked potato which was covered in chunky salt, could have done without that but wasn't too bad. My husband's salad was good as were our friend's steaks. First time trying Texas Roadhouse! Order some started including the cactus blossom and the rattlesnake bites! The bites were a bit on the salty side but overall pretty good! The cactus blossom was great just not as spicy as the one from Outback. I ordered a house salad which was so tasty and I love that they include egg! I wasn't huge on the ranch, it was flavorful just a bit thick for my liking. The chili was fantastic and definitely worth a try. The ribs were tender and flavorful same with the bbq chicken. Could have been great but totally blew it in the end. My salad was given to the next to me who slid it tome. Not a big deal as it happens. The bartenders were really friendly and attentive. The ribeye I had was totally cooked to perfection and was a great cut of meat. My baked potato was slathered in butter as it should be,. So what happened you may ask? Well it turned into a nightmare as I'm sitting at the bar and the two bartenders in front of me got into a discussion about whether there was enough tequila in the margaritas coming out of the machine. So obviously the only way to know for sure is to rate one, which Amanda did by taking a sip. She verified it was correct and set it on the bar where the prepared drinks are set for the waiters to run them out to the customers. I watched, waiting for her to dump it. Instead the next time somebody came up to order a margarita out it went, right to a guest. Wow! Just wow. As I was leaving I asked for the manager and advised her of this. What happened? Foremost, the staff has always been awesome and continues to be one of the best. My issue has been recently with the food and what seems to be the lack in quality. Our last three visits have been getting progressively worse, and with our most recent visit, finding a paper tag in the salad was not good. We used to be big fans of Texas Roadhouse. This last visit changed our minds. The restaurant was packed and understaffed. The server was running from table to table trying to provide good service. Once our food came out, the server (a different one) threw the food at us and took off. The worst part of the evening was when we were refused a second round of drinks until we ordered food. WTH??? Normally, I am a fan of Texas roadhouse. We eat here frequently, it is fairly close to my house, we know what to expect, and it is almost always the same. Consistency helps make everything good. Our last visit, however, was substandard. We had a larger party of nine. It took forever to get seated, we had to check up on people multiple times to see where we were, there was no follow through. They actually lost us once. Once we were seated, I had hoped that things will go better. The waitress was not very efficient. She struggled to keep our waters full, to the point where we started asking for extra glasses just so we had to pass around. The food came out in two different shifts with about 10 minutes in between. So how the table got their food early, they waited for the rest to get their food, while waiting of course their food went cold. The second set of food when it was delivered, was also lukewarm warm at best. Outside of the heat quality of the food, the french fries were undercooked the rice had a weird flavor to it this time, and there were several items missing. Well, I go back, probably. I think this is an aberration. I still gave them three stars, the manager was super nice and helped me things better. read more

This is my 6 year old granddaughter's favorite place to go to eat and on this occasion we decided to take her out, BUT we got there early, like before five and was able to get seated right away. Anytime after that, the wait is gonna be a while. I ordered the sirloin steak with baked potato and veggies. The steaks was tender and seasoned just right. Every single time I come to this Roadhouse location, no exaggeration, every single time, I walk away more than satisfied. The food here is phenomenal. It doesn't matter what you order, steak, ribs or anything in between it is always top tier! I am one that doesn't really like a lot of noise and chaos and prefer "quieter" restaurants but somehow this place just does it right. The environment is welcoming and enjoyable and I have always, truly felt like I was right at home when I come here (of course they charge me, haha) but it has such a delightful, door is always open atmosphere that I've never found a place I enjoy eating better. There is one server there in particular, Emma, she is absolutely exceptional. If your dining experience could possibly get any better it'll be because Emma is your server. She pays such attention to detail, focuses on your needs and shows genuine care for your experience there that you feel like you are her only customer. One of the absolute worst experiences I've ever had at a Texas roadhouse. I asked for medium well New York 12 ounce. I was brought something that was nowhere near medium well was still pumping blood have them take it back waited they finally brought me out a piece that was about 30% smaller than the first piece they brought out The manager brought this one out and while I was there, I cut it open and even bloodier than the previous one it's obvious the cooks did not listen. The waiter was absolutely impeccable and good but the cooks at this place need to go back to school or get fired. I tried several Texas Roadhouse locations across the country, and I find them to be a sure value. When you want a steak dinner without the fanfare of a steakhouse, this is the place to go. You won't pay for the fancy chandelier and bowtie server, just good steak! I ordered a small Cesar salad; excellent, and a 14oz ribeye medium rare with fries and corn. My steak was very good, I only wish the corn was on the cob instead of a cup. I also love their warm dinner rolls, not a fan of the cinnamon butter though.
