While the food is the usual Texas Road House quality getting the right order or getting it at all is the issue. Four out of the last five orders have been wrong or missing food requiring a trip back on carry out orders. Last night I was even questioned if I was defrauding them on the extra rolls we ordered and the hostess made it sound like she was doing me a favor getting me the dozen that I paid for let alone the missing grilled chicken salad. No comps offered or even an apology. Last time for take out at TRH Monaca. read more

I love their free flow, freshly baked buns with cinnamon butter!! I usually take some home with me too!! I also like their 10oz road house, at only $10 I can't complain! Cheese, sautéed mushrooms and two sides. Yes it might look like minced meat but it is still juicy and delicious by my standards. I usually go for the loaded baked potato which can be slightly salty so do let the waitress know to be gentle on the salt. Their blooming onion isn't a bad appetizer choice either! Peanuts! Yes it can get messy and if you have kids at the table, flying peanuts is a common occurrence. read more

Steak was cooked better. But no one asked if it was cooked right. Or for me to cut into it to make sure it was done for me. read more

The food is always good here! The grilled chicken salad is always sooo delicious! The service was fantastic the last time we went last week. It does get a bit loud at peak times and especially when they have to sing a birthday song but other than that it's not too bad with respect to noise. read more

Food was good and our server was excellent. If only the front desk was more sympathetic. Waiting almost an hour and a half for a table when we were told 45 minutes and having an inexperienced person at the front not knowing how to deal with people is unexceptiable. read more

Always excellent service, food and atmosphere. But what really stood out was the way they support small businesses by all the signs hanging up around the restaurant. Awesome place! Kudos to the staff and management! read more

if you go, don't sit at the bar . they are extremely busy and not attentive. i've had an empty drink for ten minutes now and been passed by both bartenders multiple times . not a are you good? do you need another drink? how's the food ? nothing i will say the managers are amazing i ordered the porterhouse and was spoken to by two amazing managers within minutes bit receiving my food . next time i'll wait and sit at a booth alone for better service . great food ! great atmosphere. just seems like you have to be a regular to get service at the bar read more

Just had terrible experience. Took 45 minutes for food. Steak was raw. Waitress was fine. Manager seemed to be totally uncaring

One of my favorite restaurant chains. When seated you are given a basket of fresh & hot dinner rolls with a homemade cinnamon honey butter, yummy! You also get a bucket of peanuts, so so good. You never need to order an appetizer here. But if you should want to they have a great blooming onion appetizer. I've been here dozens of times and usually get the Dallas filet and or the ribs. The Dallas filet is always really tender and juicy. The ribs are always cooked perfectly and the meat falls off the bone. I always pair my meal with a salad because they're Italian dressing is my favorite. All of their dressings are homemade except for the lite versions. I also like to get either a loaded baked potato or a loaded sweet potato. If you get a loaded baked potato it comes loaded with butter, sour cream, cheddar cheese, bacon bits and chives. If you select the loaded sweet potato it comes loaded with that delicious cinnamon honey butter and marshmallows. On this particular visit our server was Melissa. She was very nice and super attentive. The only reason I didn't give a five star review was because my filet wasn't cooked properly. I requested it to be cooked to medium but there was no pink, it was probably more of a medium well. I didn't complain because it was still good and didn't want to see it in the trash. You always get large portions of food here and prices are always reasonable. A solid choice for a good meal. read more

Would not seat a party until all guests arrived. Therefore no one enjoyed appetizers and drinks while waiting a few minutes for the last person to arrive. read more

We did call ahead seating and we're told it would be 50-60 minutes. In actuality, it was closer to 2 hours. They kept running out of rolls, so told us they would bring some as soon as they were done. They brought 4 rolls for the 6 of us. When they finally brought our food, most of it was delicious. However, one plate delivered had charred black chicken and a burnt sweet potato, rather than herb crusted chicken. The waitress was wonderful and offered to get replacement chicken. While we waited, the manager, Marisa, stopped by to ask if all was good. We started to explain about the chicken, but she turned away from us and quickly raced away, never to return. Why ask, if you don't care? We do not plan to return. read more

Got 2 alcoholic drinks in 4 hours. Asked for another and the bartender gave me an attitude so I told her where to stick it and she told me to leave, which I was already doing.... she jumped all over the opportunity to tell management about my "behavior". Now I'm on hold to tell the restaurant about her lack of customer service. She served those she chose to serve. Old veitnam vet didn't even need to ask for a refill, as she ate his food. read more

Texas Roadhouse is a decent place to get a steak. I'd say it's definitely better than something Applebee's but not as good as a place like LongHorn Steakhouse. Service is always good the few times I've been here. Don't usually end up waiting long and servers are always attentive. Prices are also not crazy. Free peanuts and bread are a nice addition to the meal even if I don't eat much. My only issue and the reason for 3 stars is that everything here is just way too over salted. The steak is salty. Corn. Rice. Even the baked potato. The food would be so much better if they backed off on the salt and beef stock. Don't go here often and will probably visit again but wouldn't pick it over other places to get steak due to the salt issue...which is a shame since the service is always good. Also one last thing to point out. I love unsweetened ice tea and the tea here always has an off flavor. It's not bad just has a weird taste I've never experienced at any other restaurant. read more

Chili is always on point and the beers are always cold, however, Discovered the beef tips with rice at TR. nuff said.

Love the food but it is a very dirty place that 2 times there there were ants all over the table i will not go back

This is the kind of restaurant that I love to hate. Yee haw, country line dancing, eating peanuts and throwing the shells on the floor. I can honestly say that I get the concept, but I don't like it one bit. We have dined at this location. And others out of state. Anyway, BJ wanted to come here on a Sunday afternoon. "It will be fun", he promised! How can I say no to that? We arrived around 5 pm. We got a booth in the bar area. Doesn't matter what location we visit. They always give us a booth in the bar area. Do we look like rowdy types that you want to keep away from families with small children? I don't know. Our server turned out to be pretty nice and fairly efficient, giving us a lot of attention. BJ got his usual monster sized beer. I got a Jamaican Cowboy which consisted of Malibu Rum, DeKuyper Peachtree Schnapps with orange & pineapple juice, along with a splash of Margarita. Now that's what I like! Love their rolls with cinnamon butter. So good. For our meals, BJ got a 10 oz. Ft. Worth Rib eye and I got a 6 oz. Dallas Filet. For our sides, we both got baked potatoes, mine was loaded for an extra $1. BJ got green beans, I got a monster sized side salad complete with tomato, egg and cheese. Both our steaks were perfectly grilled. I loved my sides, both were great. BJ was a little down on his green beans, but that happens. All in all, a really decent steak. read more

This is where I took my partner for our first date, and we've been back several times since. The food has always been good, but we went Easter '23 for a holiday meal out/date combo. Our wait staff, Nick, forgot that we asked for water - I have a condition that causes a lot of choking and basically need to drink any time I'm trying to swallow. He also got my partner's drink order wrong. When he brought a refill he tried to stand behind my partner and stretch to slide the drink on the table instead of coming up to the table and setting the drink down and seeing if we needed anything else, as if he were avoiding speaking to us. He never checked on us once, only when he was bringing the food to the table. We were both out of drink several times. The last time he brought my partner a drink he slammed it down on the table hard enough to make me jump, as it was very loud. We had to ask another wait staff to let Nick know that we needed another drink to get the drink that was then slammed on our table. When another person asked how our meal was or if we needed anything else my partner said the service sucked and I joking said the only thing we needed was a different wait staff and she offered to see to us the rest of the meal but by that point we were done. Nick gave us some boxes, we paid, and that was that. This was the only time we've had less than wonderful service from the wait staff and it's a huge disappointment. I am disabled and currently my partner only works part time so we have to actually save for quite a time to afford to go out to a place as expensive as Texas Roadhouse... and for that to be ruined by an employee taking their bad day (or whatever the reason) out on us was highly unacceptable. read more

I ordered the beef tips with mushrooms and onions and they brought it to the table room temperature. It only took about a hour to get this simple meal and about 20 minutes later the manager appears and asks if the food was good and I told her no it was horrible and she said oh I will have to see what the problem is and never came back. This restaurant has the worst food and a shitty manager. I would never recommend this place to anybody who wants to spend $50 on a awful place to eat. If I could take the one star away I would it's not even worth a single star they should give me a star for posting this. read more

We don't go there as often as we used to, but in the 4/5 times we've been in the last 4 months it has progressively gotten worse. Each time our order has been progressively worse and or not even complete. Tonight was the cake topper, my wife ordered a 6oz fillet with mushrooms and a salad. Got her salad steak comes out without mushrooms and our server says it will be 3 mins. About 10 mins go by and server comes and says still no mushrooms but I can have them make a fresh steak with the mushrooms to which I say yes in frustration. Manager then comes and ignorantly says that she can't do that because she doesn't want it to happen again. Waitress brings bill because at that point I've given up and want to leave and go elsewhere wow-$5.00. About five mi a later waitress brings 2 containers of mushrooms to go and says that the manager told her that we no longer wanted the new steak and mushrooms. I proceed to tell waitress that manager told us she wasn't going to make the new meal....... Waitress apologizing over and over again was appreciated but the manager was downright rude about it. I feel like when I go to a restaurant and am paying for a meal that I should get what I ask for. read more

Thank you to Jay and the entire Texas Roadhouse staff. Because of Covid restrictions, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Beaver County could not hold our annual auction gala dinner. We ordered Roadhouse catering for our small get together event. As always, the food was excellent and the price was right. Thanks again!! read more

Big thumbs up to the staff at Texas Roadhouse during the coronavirus. As a family, we have been ordering out to try to support the local economy and this was by far our best experience. As usual, the food was great! However, the best part about it was how well they had it organized. Placed your order on the phone,Sent you a code to pay and when you got there they brought the food out to your car. Also, they had the mascot in the parking lot greeting people ( from a distance parentheses). Thanks again and we will be ordering soon. read more

So this Saturday, prior to catching Bullet For My Valentine in Pittsburgh, Kay and I stopped into Texas Roadhouse. We had been meaning to stop in and kept putting it off, but at a loss for UnYelped businesses, we were left for a perfect excuse to try them. And I must say, everything was pretty fetchin', bitchin' even. These colossal buns, each as big as Kimbo Slice's fists, all of them as freshly baked as a Tim & Eric fan, are placed before us, that famous cinnamon butter waiting to be slathered on them, and slather it on we did, devour them we did. Christ, give me some of these and some soup, and I'd be satisfied. I mean, you know what freshly baked bread is like, right? If so, adopt a grandma. You don't ever get around to making sandwiches with it. You just bake it, and eat it, with butter. Elementary bliss. The same could be said for my salad and its honey mustard vinaigrette. Hey, I had to get off the ranch dressing habit, and the superfine sweet honey mustard helped me ease of out that rut. Grilled Shrimp came next, skewered like Bill O'Reilly was when he was a guest at a Late Show With David Letterman taping and laid across two garlic lemon pepper butter-soaked buns with more of that magic butter off to the side. The shrimp was al dente, excelente. The Fall Off The Bone Ribs were had by me in the form of a half-rack. Fall off the bone and fall apart in my mouth they did. The smoky meat was so tender, I ate the ribs with a knife and fork. The sauce was simply passable however. The Loaded Baked Potato, (topped with cheddar, bacon, and sour cream) I got as a side ranks highly among all the other "bakers" I've had at similar restaurants. What else to say about a baked potato? Thick hide, fluffy interior? It had it. We didn't partake in dessert, but based on the menu it appeared to be the same giant cookie/brownie sundae fare you'd find anywhere else. I'm tired of seeing them everywhere even if I'm a long-time fan of the concept. Crikey, aren't these steakhouses ALL the same? Aren't they all the grandchildren of Ponderosa and the children of Long Horn? It's strange how so many of them were founded in the high 80's/low-to-mid 90's, just like grunge. Heh. read more
