Came here with the family to enjoy a good meal and good company. We always like coming to Frank G's. Nice atmosphere, good food and service! We ordered the crab cakes from the regular menu and the chicken bruschetta Mac and cheese offered as one of their "specials". The crab cakes were delicious! The Mac and cheese wasn't quite what my husband expected based on how our server described the dish. It would be nice if they included an insert in the menu for the specials providing a better description of the dishes so you have a better idea of what to expect. My husband's dish did not have any bruschetta sprinkled on top, only one lonely piece of tomato. While it was good it was not as it was described by our server so it was a little disappointing. **Update to previous review of Frank G's** What was originally a review that called out details is now one that calls out the owner and/ or management. The meal that was originally reviewed was on the occasion of my daughter's graduation that evening. It is for that reason that I did not address my concerns with management at that time. Again, there were great things about the meal, but the details made it a less than enjoyable experience, especially at a place that presents as delivering an elevated dining experience. My call- out is this; there seem only two reasons why they would not respond in some fashion to a negative Yelp review and at least offer an explanation or apology. The first would be that they are oblivious to the impact that social media can have on a business and they just don't attend to it. The second would be that they are aware, but just don't care enough or feel that they are above addressing concerns. Either way, it doesn't bode well for a business operating in the age of social. Let me be clear, it's not about getting a comped meal or a free dessert...I would not return anyway. read more

We tried Frank G's based on recommendations from others but was very disappointed with their lunch menu selections. (It was a late lunch and we were hoping for something more substantial.) Maybe at some point we will return when their dinner menu is available. read more

Jordan and his staff are putting out top quality fare at reasonable prices. Oysters Rockefeller and Crackin Shrimp appetizers were excellent. Braised short rib and Porcini mushroom ravioli were so good and full of flavor. Val, our server, is tops and so kind. Always going back again and again. read more

Wonderful, first time experiencing Frank G's Place. Beautiful atmosphere, extremely attentive servers and wait staff, delicious entrees and appetizers. Three of us went for the very first time on a Thursday evening. Such a pleasant dining experience in such a relaxing setting. Valerie, our server, was attentive, fun, and friendly from the jump with our family of 5! We made a reservation and didn't have to wait at all upon arrival. The food was delicious and not disappointing --we ordered the oysters rockefeller, shorts ribs, steak salad, ribeyes, and chicken parm (x2). Everyone cleaned their plates. The only complaint was maybe the portion size given the cost and arguably the short ribs could have used more sauce (they were still truly tender, flavorful, and delicious though). From a dinner standpoint we had a variety of of meals from the Fillet to Salads to Hamburgers. The food is good, not great. I would go if you've never been. We ordered a few appetizers and they were delicious! I ordered the grilled cheese with pesto. It was okay! I wasn't a huge fan or the sandwich and the fries were extremely salty. I was impressed they could seat 15 of us for my daughter in law's birthday. Our food came out hot and delicious.

Really bummed they no longer have the short pasta or short rib dinner so we went elsewhere.

My first visit here was in a group of seven. I liked the ambiance of the renovated space with warm lighting and dark wood. It definitely felt restaurant-focused where we were sat on the lower level away from the popular bar area. I sat in a seat facing out towards The River and I don't think the outdoor patio was open yet so the view was unencumbered. I very much liked the presentation of my salad and the serving of salmon on the salad was generous. I enjoyed their bread service which included my favorite local brand oil and vinegar. Our server got all our picky customized orders perfect! Our fellow diners were also casually dressed. It's new so its identity may change with time but for now it is my sort of place with its approachable ambiance and not just another riverside drinking hole vibe in Bridgewater. read more

I already want to go back! I have gone to this building a ton of times under all different restaurant names, but this might be my favorite. We had several different things, and everyone loved it all! I had the souther chicken sandwich. The chicken was absolutely delicious and the bbq ranch hit the spot. My husband got the lemon basil shrimp over pasta, and he loved it...I also did when I stole a bite or two. My mom got the chicken Parmesan with noodles and couldn't finish it. And maybe the best part was the dessert. We got the cheesecake with both strawberries and blueberries on top...but the compote was phenomenal! read more

Loved Frank G's. Came for lunch with my mother, daughter and grandson. 4 generations and everyone loved it! I had the mushroom flat bread and it was delicious. My mother had a chicken sandwich with fries. My daughter had a portobello sandwich and grandson had pasta alfredo. All of us took half home - because portions were big. Our server was pleasant and attentive, ands I know she was busy. The restaurant was comfortable and view was great. We will be back with more people. :-) read more

First time there was an absolute perfect, five star experience. Wouldn't change a thing, from food, to atmosphere, to service everything was on point. Party of 8, We started with several appetizers: my favorite was the provolone wedges. They have a wonderful selection of Mocktails, which I'm so happy to see. My husband enjoyed an Old Fashioned. My entree was a special, red snapper with a fruit slaw....absolutely AMAZING! We did share a dessert but it was a bit too much for us and we didn't finish, Good but not great, probably would pass on future desserts. Second time in service dropped, big time. Entree came out before appetizer, no refills, no bread service even though it was requested.... Third time back was as good as the first. We will be back! read more

Beautiful place, good service, but was disappointed in some of the food. We also didn't realize the larger dinner menu isn't until after 4pm and they also don't offer bread and dippy oil until then too, from the Yelp reviews that was part of why we picked this place to eat. We did ask and she brought it out, which was nice. The flatbread was horrible, thick and soggy.... I am used to a fresh crispy flat bread. We will have to try it again in a couple months. read more

The waiter Ed was fantastic, the appetizers were excellent, but the short rib pappardelle was a lot of fat and gristle, the pappardelle was not al dente. The Chicken Parm was good and crispy, but the pasta was not al dente and the Parmesan cheese sauce was like paste. The atmosphere is great, but the overall menu should be a lot better for such a beautiful place. I wish they had fresh calamari rings for appetizers, lightly coated. read more

Food was amazing! We started with the truffle fries, followed by the chicken Parmesan entree with a side order of green beans and the filet entree with asparagus and whipped potatoes. I have not had a steak that mouth watering in ages. All the flavors were on point. On a Friday night, the place was packed, full of laughter and great lighting.
