We visited this restaurant two days in a row. The first day it was just my wife and I looking forward a good meal. The second time we were with friends to celebrate their wedding anniversary. Both times we started by using the APP to get on the waiting list. We walked in and told the young lady the we were on the waiting list. She quickly verified our name and sent us to be seated. For our first meal we ordered our favorites: prime rib, medium rare, with salad and baked potato; and rib eye, medium rare, with salad and green beans. Zak, our server, was excellent. He was on top of everything we needed for a wonderful dinning experience. The prime rib and rib eye are the reason we eat at Texas Roadhouse house. They know how to prepare beef. The side salad and green beans are very good. I especially like the freshness of the salad ingredients. The only negative was the baked potato, it was cold or at least too cold to properly melt butter. Our second visit was a celebration with friends. We decided to try something different. My wife and I ordered a full slab of ribs with loaded steak fries while our friends ordered catfish and chicken. Since we had not been very adventurous with the menu we were a bit surprised to find that the ribs were not as good as the steak and prime rib from the previous visit. The loaded steak fries were a disappointment too. They were limp and failed the good-when-cold test. Once the cheese cooled it became a large lump of cold cheese with steak fries stuck to it. On the other hand our friends recommended the catfish and chicken. I stopped ordered catfish and chicken when I found that most restaurant catfish tasted like mud and the chicken was usually dry. This Texas Roadhouse catfish tasted like fresh fish. The chicken was moist, flavorful, and properly prepared. If you want great, well prepared beef, Texas Roadhouse is the place. In the future I will avoid the loaded steak fries and the ribs; but, I will be tempted to try the catfish and chicken. read more

It was our first time dining at Texas Roadhouse and Tyler made us feel welcomed and assured us that we were going to enjoy everything we ordered and he didn't lie. Service was 10/10, food cam out quick, hot and delicious. Although we made a rookie mistake and filled up on rolls and apps, we were able to enjoy some of the mains as best we could. It's been a long time since I've been here, and I remember it being just ok before. Not good enough to go back. We usually opted for the other Roadhouse in town, but lately their quality has gone down and they always get to go orders wrong, so we opted to give Texas another chance. I am absolutely glad we did! Some entrees are more expensive than others, but the portions are very generous. I got a salad and was happy with the size, and my guy got Pork chops and they were giant! We also got a bowl of chili which was ok- a big heavy in the chili powder for my tastes but good heat and didn't taste canned. Everything else tasted really good though, it was cooked well, and best of all not a single thing was wrong. Their to-go process is fantastic! If they had the option to order additional salad dressings online, or request buffalo sauce (or make the critter salad with an option for Buffalo critters!) they'd be closer to the 5 stars. I was super impressed with the service we encountered at this establishment. My steak wasn't cooked to how I prefer it and I did send it back. The manager brought it back out to me and seemed very sincere, he apologized even though I said It was fine. He also waited until i cut into it to make sure it was correct. Staff checked in multiple times and my drink was never empty. 2 Stars just because the drinks and potatoes were great! I came into town from Seattle for a couple days to visit a friend and took her to dinner at this location as she loves Texas Roadhouse. Once seated, our waitress Stefani greeted us nicely but when we said we needed time to look over the menu, she came back 3 times within the 8 minutes we were still looking at the menu. We started with 2 Porch Rockers and the pickle chips. Both were delicious, but the pickle basket had a bunch of older fried onion pieces as well as pieces of chicken tenders, showing a the first sign that the kitchen wasn't very attentive to what they were sending to customers. We both ordered the sirloin, mine medium rare with a side salad no tomatoes (allergy) and hers medium with a caesar salad. My side salad had a couple pieces of tomatoes which my friend gathered and split apart for me, then the steaks came. Cutting into the steak, my "medium rare" steak came out medium well +, just a hint of pink. Her "medium" steak came out the same way. After 5 minutes, we were finally checked in on after a number of people walked by us looking around. Stefani came over and assured us we would have properly cooked steaks shortly and I ordered a second drink. We waited 12 minutes for the new steaks out, which surprised me as I figured almost every customer is ordering steak. The steaks came out very rare. While initially, they looked okay from the first cut, my friend's "medium" steak came out gooey it was horrific. I offered to give her the ends of my steak for the middle of hers so it was at least edible as it looked like it was not cooked at all in the center. We were checked in on once after this and felt pressured to get out of the restaurant as we had just gotten our second steaks when our waitress asked about the check and dropped it off. This wasn't the end of our visit though! Once the check was dropped off, the total was $59.05, we had assumed the second drink was comped because of the issues we had with our meals, but when the check was returned, the price rose $6. We were charged a greater amount than what was presented to us from a server error. While I understand the situation if we had no issues with our meal this evening, but for it to not be communicated when the check dropped back off was unsettling. We then spoke to the blond manager with curly hair about our concerns and reasoning for bringing this to someone's attention, she was dismissive of our concern and not apologetic at all about our experience from start to finish. This is quite unacceptable for this large of a company not to contribute a $6 drink to subside for the completely overcooked and undercooked steaks and lack of service we were provided. read more

Always an excellent time at Texas Roadhouse! I was seated promptly and everyone is so friendly and welcoming here. I got the 20 oz bone-in rib eye with house salad and steak fries. The rib eye was cooked to medium rare perfection as I requested. The server was always checking on me making sure my meal was to my liking and my water was filled up without me asking. Love it! I'm from Texas, but that's not the point. I have eaten at this chain in other states and was still happy. This place is awful. The rolls and butter are just as good as all the other places. But the ceasar salad was tasteless. The steak medallions with peppercorn sauce looked so gross. I have never seen it look like this before. The sauce had zero flavor or pepper. It was like someone hastily mixed flour with red wine and just poured it over with some black stuff that was supposed to be pepper, I guess. I scraped it all off and the medallions were ok. The fries were just blah. My coke was good. They seemed concerned that I wanted a straw. Then I needed to explain why I wanted a knife for the rolls to be separate from a knife for the steak. What has happened to Texas Roadhouse? I ordered takeout online and followed the directions. I was told to park in one of the specified parking spaces, text them when we arrived, and they'd bring our food out, easy breezy. Not so fast. I did what I was supposed to. Parked, texted, waited. And waited. I received automated responses to my texts stating that our food wasn't ready but they'd "be right out". 20 minutes later, I called and made my way through the phone tree. At that time, I was told that they don't bring the food out anymore and that we we're supposed to come inside. Huh? We were never told that we were supposed to come in. I expressed my frustration and was given the manager to speak with. I reiterated my feelings and he was more concerned about reading the texts that I received than apologizing or being concerned about my feelings. Did my food sit on a counter, waiting for 20 minutes? After looking at my food, I feel that it did. The meat was dry and, at over $50, I'd hoped for more. I'm trying to show more grace because of the current COVID employment situation, but, I did not receive any actual concern from the manager. I won't be returning, at least not for takeout. read more

Went to Texas Roadhouse for my birthday since it's one of my favorite restaurants but unfortunately this location isn't the best. Went right when it opened thinking it'd be slow. Well everything was slow but the amount of people in the restaurant. I didn't mind the wait because I knew the food was being cooked fresh. I wish we got served bread more frequently. I think I was drinking my soda too quick for our waitress because she'd bring out one before I was even finished. Which I usually don't mind but the ice melted in my soda as I drank my other one. I ordered steak and asked for medium rare however I got what seemed like a completely rare steak. It wasn't even warm in the middle, super disappointing. Waitress wasn't around to get ahold of, by the time she came I had already finished my sides and decided to just take the steak home and cook it to my own liking. I came here for dinner on a Monday evening and this place was super busy! They were well staffed though so we were quickly seated and the rolls (delicious!) immediately came after. We ordered the blooming onion (greasy but tasty!), chicken fried steak (a bit overcooked but overall tasty), chili (just okay), and mashed potatoes (okay). The service here was great, friendly and extremely helpful! Overall I would say the food was a 3 stars (the rolls were a 10) and the service was a 5. We ordered the chicken fried chicken, a full rack of ribs and the kids steak bites. The chicken fried chicken was ok, I probably wouldn't order it again though, not that it was bad just not for me.The baked potato was really good. The kids steak bites tasted ok but they looked pretty dry and a little grisly. Now the rack of ribs were the best I have ever tried, they were so tender that they fell off the bone, you don't even need to pick them up, all you need is your fork. We all ordered fries and they were pretty soggy and just slightly warm. I also ordered a $5 Long island ice tea which was really good. Over all good meal and will be coming back. read more

I was very impressed with my recent visit to the Texas Roadhouse. My friend and I were really in the mood for a good steak. We were greeted at the door and quickly directed to our both. You have the option of a booth with table side service or a buffet style line with dishes that are pre-prepared. My steak was perfect as well as my friends, we were very impressed. Not only did the server ask us to check our steak before he left, but the manager stopped by as well to make sure we were doing well. I know that the manager visiting is a normal thing to happen, but the server asking us to check our steak before he left was a nice new experience. I would come back here for sure. This used to be our favorite restaurant in the Willamette Valley. We almost always were seated immediately, if busy, there wasn't a long wait. The wait staff was friendly ... for the most part, and provided very good service. Always got a lot of food for the money and it was always well-prepared. After many great visits there, they really dropped the ball on our last visit. I think that they were trying to accommodate a lot more people than they could really handle. Someone from the bar staff waited our table and didn't do a very good job doing so. She took our order, and after that disappeared completely. No water, no salads, no entrees. After waiting 30 minutes, I brought our situation to the attention of the manager, who also handled the mess very poorly. We just decided to leave without eating and never returned again. Been here a handful of times over the last few years. Overall for a mainly steak chain restaurant it is good. Last night we came and checked in online, then sat in our car and were prompted to go to the host station and wait to be seated we waited about four minutes at the "2" sign before we were seated. We ordered drinks and then ordered food not too long after. They brought rolls, then after a little while we got our salads. Our entrées Took probably an extra 10 minutes to arrive. once arrived I cut my steak open and have to check if it was medium rare and it was completely bloody on my plate and you could tell from the exterior and interior it was almost cold rare. We waved down somebody after about five minutes of no one coming to check on us some other server or runner took my plate back and I didn't receive my plate back for another 15 minutes by the time the manager brought my plate with no apology I requested a to go box so we could leave. After about 8 more minutes our waitress finally came back, after not stopping to check in for refills or check if our food came out correct much earlier. I requested the check so we could leave. She brought it after a few minutes and took it a bit later. Finally we paid and left. I left a small tip because I know they work hard and it was busy, but not overwhelming. I noticed the table across from us were also not pleased with how their steaks were prepared. I noticed another table waiting a long while to receive their food as well. This is a busy restaurant and I understand the time we're in things can get hectic, but I wasn't pleased with our service this time. This has happened once before and the manager apologized and replaced food swiftly last time and offered a partial discount. Not this time. It seemed as if they are used to it and don't mind. I also have to mention although I did not take a bite of my steak before returning it when they brought it back after the 15 minute it was the same steak and with covid and just all the regulations I was a bit shocked to say the least that they used the same food that was left with a table and back on the grill... I assumed the amount of time it took to get it back I was receiving a new steak but that was not the case. Our waitress was very kind and sweet but she did not do a great job checking in on us at all. To my understanding she had no idea I had sat 15 minutes without my food and no refills etc. I was tired of being there so didn't mention it to her since the manager had "dealt" with it. Oh well. I do enjoy the salads they are always cold and have a good crunch to them. I got Caesar and it was great. They have really good croutons and Parmesan cheese over top. The only thing that's not great is they threw the two ends of the lettuce head in my mixture. Not very appetizing looking to see the base of a romaine salad head in your bowl. Rolls were hot and delicious per usual. Cinnamon butter always a hit. Loaded baked potato was good could have used more toppings for paying extra but since that's all I ate of my entree last night guess I'll stop complaining ;) read more

We come here often when in need of a tasty steak that doesn't break the bank. Tonight our server offered us a trial plate of ribs for $3. How do you pass that up? She was right, they're fall off the bone good. For the rest of September, on Mon/Tue you can get all you want as long as you buy one entree. Our server Hilaree was great. Checked on us and didn't give us the pressure to order more food/dessert. My ONLY complaint, and the reason for 4 stars (it is a chain) is the lack of ginger beer.
