This is our "go to' restaurant. The prices are reasonable and the food is great. Very few places can cook a good steak. Even fewer places serve fresh steaks. The real thing that sets this place apart is the service. We have never had a bad experience here. The staff are on top of their tables and do what it takes to make the customer happy. read more

Visiting from out of town and this was the nicest location I've ever been to! We were on business so we needed the drinks separate from the food and they had no problem with it. We had a disappointing overall experience. The server was extremely rude to my in-laws who have a slight foreign accent. She was impatient with us from the beginning although none of us were familiar with the menu and had children with us as well. When my husband asked what sort of appetizers they offered she replied with, "if you just open your menu and do a little reading you can see for yourself." We ordered drinks and he asked for half iced tea, half lemonade. She brought him water. When he asked her later if she was still coming with the drink he ordered she got all animated and said, "oh yeah! I totally meant to bring you water because I don't speak English." By this point I had enough of her rude behavior and asked to speak with the manager regarding getting a different server. He apologized and sent a different woman. From there on out the service was fine but the steaks were nothing exceptional. It seems the only thing that sets them apart from any other chain is the cinnamon butter for the rolls which is hardly enough to bring me back after such an unsatisfactory experience. read more

Always had good food but had problems the last two times I went there. First instance, never got my appatizer. Had to ask for it and then it was brought out after I was done eating. 2nd instance, the over-done steak...twice. My significant other and I came at 5:30 on a Saturday. We waited about 45 minutes or so, which we expected with how packed it was. What stood out to us was that on 2 different occasions, a staff member came around with samples for the people waiting to try. Though we didn't get any, I thought it was such a cool thing to do for people waiting. Another time she came and did a "scavenger hunt" to where people could win a free appetizer card, which we did get one of. Once we were sat, our server was super friendly and got our food out fast despite the big groups around us. Once sat, we were in and out in 30-35 mins even with the packed restaurant. Terrible service.... There were 3 of us and the waitress walked away without taking my drink order. Came back with the other 2 drinks and still never asked me. Food was just blah....Never cleared our table of anything...came with our checks and I put cash and she asked if I wanted the change and I said I did. Brought it back but shorted me 62 cents. Now, granted that isn't a lot but I asked for all my change back. I would have tipped her differently but this to me was stealing. She was not going to get anything more from me. Still, nothing cleared after coming back and forth several times for the checks. I asked for a manager, she came over, we told her about the money and she asked if she rounded up....ah, no, she went down. By far one of the best burgers I ever had. Burger was cooked to perfection and was good. I asked for pickles on my burger and they game with a colossal amount which is good because I like pickles a lot on and not on my burger. Our waiter was cool and very nice, also fast service which was pleasurable. Well done trying to keep up with a very large group who had to sit 6 6 and 4 in different areas. Then a man in the group says "I've been to Texas Roadhouses all over the country and have never had this before." I had green beans and Steak Fries for sides. The Beans were a little mushy but they were cooked with bacon, so that made up for anything negative!!! This place was AMAZING. Bread with cinnamon butter to start along with peanuts. (Both complimentary). I had the ribeye and it was the best steak I have ever had. Perfectly seasoned and prepared just the way I like it. My husband had the prime rib and My daughter had the breaded sirloin. Those were delicious too. You have your choice of 2 sides. I picked a house salad (it had everything including hard boiled egg pieces!) and chili. Both were so good. Our server, Laura, was top notch and did a wonderful job. Stopped by for lunch, it was a busy afternoon. The hostess asked us how many I said 4 she grabs 3 bread rolls and turns away walking to a table I guess that means this way. She shows us our table I say can I get a booster seat? She ignores me passes me than my husband asks her as he did not hear me the same question he gets same response. The waitress comes by we asked her she seemed very nice took our order and went away than brought us more rolls 4 of them I'm super glad she could count since the hostess was unable too. Our food came.... Well part of my food as they forgot fries with my steak, I don't know how you don't notice I have no fries. I also worked in a restaurant before I know she knew but was too lazy to go get them or ask so by the time I received them I was almost done so asked for a to go box. During this time the hostess looks off into space as nobody is in the restaurant not a care in the world oh look at the rainbows had to say excuse me a few times as we attempted to pass her and the other staff. As for service not impressed- the hostess is your first impression of the restaurant and she can't count rolls. The food however was excellent! My steak was delicious! Tonight I was asked to leave my most favorite restaurant at Texas Roadhouse in Appleton. My boyfriend and I went there for our date night. We called ahead and they said it would be 45 min to an hour so we went to fleet farm to waste some time. The table still wasn't ready when we got there so we went to the bar to get a drink. We ordered one drink each and then got seated. Ordered our food and ordered another drink. The waitress came back with just a drink for me and said my boyfriend was too drunk for her to serve him. Now mind you that was our first drink of the night. I asked to speak with a manager and he came over and I told him what happened, I said that we have never felt so disrespected, he said he sticks with his 18 yr old waitress' decision. That they are trained for this. So how does this kid of a waitress know I wasn't the one driving (which I was)? Why did I get a drink but not my boyfriend? Neither of us were talking loud or being disrespectful. It was date night! We were just eating our food. I honestly believe we were subjected to racial profiling. My boyfriend doesn't resemble the white collar man because he shaves his head. Why was he singled out if it wasn't for that? Which shouldn't be an issue. The manager was from a different ethnic background. But we did nothing wrong and because I raised my voice stating that this was so wrong, we were asked to leave. Place is insane. Always packed and I don't understand why. It's run by very young children that have no sense of urgency or customer service. The food is meh, some items taste frozen. Not a clean place at all. Sat down in something sticky that I still cannot get out of my skirt.
