    Appetizer platter

The service is really great. I ordered online and it was ready at the exact time it said. I got a text when reaThis place was so packed. I'm not sure if they use the curbside anymore but I had to park and walk in. All the to-gos are to the left when you walk in. I got the appetizer platter for $14.99 and honestly it's kinda better to get this than just one fried pickle cause that is 9.99. The mozzarella and potato's were pretty good. I got a kids meal which was this steak (pictured) and my side was mushrooms. They had a lot of pepper on them. Plus a small drink. Not really worth $13.99 imo. Might as well get a regular meal and split with your kid.

Thought that the third time might be the charm but it was more of the same. Barely warm sides and mediocre main dishes that are overpriced. Service was ok but just ok. The waitress gave off a vibe that she hated her job which makes things awkward. I really want to like this place but I think I am done here.

This is supposed to be medium-rare.

We used to go to TRH every other week and we were always very satisfied. Of late the quality of the food and service has been really poor, so much so we quit going there to eat. We tried it again tonight after about 8-10 months hiatus, thinking, hoping, that things have improved. They haven't. The service was awful and it took almost 90 minutes to get our food. We waited over 15 minutes just for the waiter to acknowledge us. I ordered a medium rare steak and it was well done and DRY but another person's food (chicken) from our party was tepid/room temperature and inedible. We couldn't find our server through this ordeal so we struggled through. As we were leaving we brought our concerns to the manager's attention and he commented that he's heard a lot of steaks have been well done but he did apologize. He didn't offer to compensate us at all for the poor quality service and food. To say we were all disappointed is a gross understatement.

Been ages since we visited Texas Roadhouse. Arrived 4:30 seated by 5 ... just in time for their 4-6 special Customer service was great! Tim, our server, was awesome. Steak was done to perfection Definitely will be returned sooner for our next visit.

Friendly and quick service with ok food. Coming in was quick and no wait. Though, we did have to fold up our stroller and put it on the booth next to us. This experience not entirely stroller friendly. The service was great, bustlin' and friendly. Our server came by frequently, kept refills coming for my bottomless husband, rolls plenty and giving exactly the kind of experience I'd expect from Texas Roadhouse ten years ago. Inside is loud, lively and lit up. A signature of Texas Roadhouse and with bits of Alaskan flair to decorate the walls. One thing to note is the old days of peanut floors and buckets are long gone and plastic bags of peanuts replace them. If you've got some nut sensitivity this is still not the place for you. Now -- the food. It's alright. Yeah, yeah the rolls are good. As far as steaks go I think they go through some sort of brine. They're cooked as desired, very filling and still a good char. With all that said the steaks are on par with Golden Corral. The food is nothing special with the exception of the appetizers. If I were to choose between Texas Roadhouse and Golden Corral I'm choosing the latter except if I'm hungry for the fried onion in which case there's no competition they are wonderful and hit all the tasty points.

I've never been one to eat at chain restaurants && this experience is one of the many reasons why. The service was great, we got seated right away - we went the moment they opened so not too many people for lunch. Got our drink order promptly && bread basket. Once we ordered, the sides and the appys came very quickly. The quality was sup par. The salad was good && HUGE! The onion blossom was good as well. We also ordered wings because the husband && I love wings as you know. I didn't know they were bone out... I wouldn't of ordered them if I read the description that they were bone out. When I got my steak, the fries were cold so they got me new fried and they were luke warm. I love fries but only if they are hot - so I didn't eat many. The steaks were tasteless&& I loooove stakes! Would not recommend the steaks From here if you know good steak! Overall they lived up to my standard of the reason why I don't go to chain restaurants. Service && drinks were great tho!

Always cooked excellent! Friendly staff and service is great even if busy. I found this location hell a better than the one at Muldoon. I know because I went there and wasn't really impressed. The smoked au jus was too watered down and the meat was overcooked. This local is VERY consistent. 4 days straight proves that. And every time one of the key mgrs showed up. My experience here was really that good. The ambiance here seemed a lot more up and up.

    Here for Mother's day :)

Our waitress, Katie, was simply amazing. We had a party of six, and she didn't write down a single order--yet every meal, every side, and every drink came out exactly right. We were all impressed! Her attention to detail, friendly personality, and professionalism made our dining experience exceptional. The food was phenomenal. The halibut bites were perfectly crispy and delicious, the dill salmon was fresh and flavorful, and the filet was cooked perfectly--tender and full of flavor. The blueberry beer was also fantastic and a unique local treat that paired wonderfully with the meal. From the warm welcome to the flawless service and incredible food, every part of our experience exceeded our expectations. If you're in Anchorage, Alaska Chopped & Chowder is an absolute must-visit!

With our reservation, we were seated pretty quickly, and I thought the restaurant had a cute nautical feel inside. I ordered a cider, and Colby ordered a glass of wine. For our appetizer, we shared the chowder sampler, which, being from Cape Cod, I had never seen before. The presentation was super cute, with each chowder served in its own tiny mug. All three were delicious and tasted freshly made. For my meal, I ordered the fish & chips, which were very good. I was a little disappointed that one piece of fish was missing batter on one side, but overall everything was still quite tasty. The bathrooms were clean, and I found the staff to be generally friendly, aside from a few comments that we chose to let slide. Overall, this was a really nice spot for local seafood, and there is plenty of free parking outside. We would definitely recommend it if you're looking for fresh seafood while visiting Anchorage.

Most often, I leave a steak house thinking I could make a better steak for a fraction of the price at home. This was not the case here. The service was also good, which is a nice change for the area. We live here and quite frankly, the service in the Anchorage area is usually pretty marginal. So, that was a pleasant surprise. However, the sides are quite expensive and billed as "family style" but they are a single serving really. The exception was the Parker House rolls which I think came out 5 to an order. They were pulled apart and the sides of the rolls were dry, as if they had been plated up and set under a heat lamp for too long. The risotto was prepared incorrectly. It was mushy with no hint of the classic al dente. I think if they can't take the time to cook that dish correctly, they should consider taking it off the menu as it is a marker for a good meal in my opinion. The wedge salad was pretty standard fare, with a couple of heirloom tomato slices that were also mushy (although, I can forgive that given where we live as the lettuce was crisp and nice) The other side we ordered was a special, fiddlehead ferns, served braised. They were tasty, and the best non steak item we had, but a small portion and, I think $23, which seemed quite expensive. I think the next time we go, we will just share a steak with a glass of wine and skip the overpriced 15-25 side dishes.

Antonio greeted me at the door and sat me in just a few minutes. I was seated at the bar counter downstairs. A dark intimate hip place. The guys behind the counter were Cory, Kendrick, and another young gentleman I didn't get the name of. They were happy people and it showed. I saw from the yelpers they had Tsukemono (Japanese pickles) and my second favorite Tsukemen (dipping noodles) . I ordered both and was pleasantly surprised to see the pork belly was perfectly roasted, the 6 1/2 min egg was on point, and the noodles and broth were absolutely amazing. I am a Tsukemen fan and this place did it right. I then ordered the matcha pancetta dessert. Whoa! Completely knocked on the floor with the flavors. However this was my birthday dinner so I was particularly disappointed. I reserved a table for three in the whisky bar area. We arrived about five minutes early and were told by one of the hostesses that the party at the table just paid and should be leaving soon. About 20 minutes passed before another said the party still had not left even though one of them talked to the server. Eventually I agreed to have us seated in the main dining room. Almost immediately afterward I saw two parties leave the whisky bar so I asked to be moved there, which according to one of the hostesses is where we originally supposed to be. It was over 30 minutes later when we finally got the table I reserved. This left a sour taste in my mouth and I considered leaving at one point, but I was really looking forward to this dinner. For dinner I ordered the Komorebi Old Fashioned and the Dark Horse as I often do, We also shared the whisky pork buns and everything was delicious. Dessert was not as enjoyable. I ordered their espresso martini, the Electric Stolt, which was decent enough. Lacking on the coffee flavor in my opinion. I also ordered the chocolate birthday cake which, aside from the cherries in the cake, tasted like any generic cake you would get from a grocery store. Their other desserts, like the matcha panna cotta and goma silk bar, are much more flavorable. Service overall was fine, but we got the check before my boyfriend could order another drink so we felt somewhat rushed out. Considering this is the only time I've had issues with being seated for reservations, I would go back, but this was my least pleasant dining experience here, unfortunately.

I have been there eating several times this winter and obviously homeless people would come to the door and be given water, hot soup, half a sandwich, etc. that just made me love this place more. Now to the food. First of all I had the meatball sub which was not only delicious but super filling. The meat was very well seasoned, and the fresh basil just made the marinara pop even more, add the freshly shaved Parmesan cheese and you've got something special. The homemade bread puts this thing into overdrive! Crispy on the outside, light, delicate but not falling apart and heavy enough to hold together all that deliciousness without being filling like you just ate a large pizza. Now to the ridiculous tomato basil soup. I love the clam chowder but the tomato basil is my favorite. Savory, full of flavor, smooth, creamy and not greasy. This in my opinion is the perfect pairing to the meatball sub. You're welcome! The customer service here is amazing too just like the owners and the food. You will always be greeted by a smiling face, and treated like family. You will not regret stopping here. I've eaten the Meatball sub, The Philly, the lasagna and The Gyro ( lamb and chicken) all have been 10 out of 10. The ambiance is like a neighborhood dinner with a small dining room. The restaurant was lively, the bar was packed, and it was obvious that service was still in full swing. Nothing about the atmosphere suggested they were closing early or winding things down. Despite this, I was immediately told they were "closed," and the interaction felt more like someone trying to cut me off at the door than giving an honest explanation. It was disappointing, especially considering that the place was still operating as usual and serving everyone already inside. If an establishment is truly closing early for the holiday, that's understandable but at least make it clear or adjust the posted hours so customers aren't misled. Instead, it came across as rude, unprofessional, and dismissive. Being turned away while the restaurant is clearly open doesn't just feel unwelcoming it feels like the opposite of hospitality. This was not the experience I expected from a place with Sullivan's reputation, and it honestly left a bad taste before I ever got a bite.
